ugh such a stunning collection!! just a thing about book lovers, it’s like 50% literary fiction and 50% romance, she’s an older sister and the book spends a lot of time on their relationship for a romance book, however i loved it and in my opinion there was still a decent amount of romance anyway

Omg Lonely castle in the mirror! I don’t want to get your hopes too high but at the same time - I read it recently and LOVED this book! Can’t wait for you to read it) the story was not what I expected it to be though, blurb makes it sound more like Miadzaki fairytale kind of story but it’s different and very character driven imo. I even cried a few times at the end of the story which is not very usual 😮

I recently bought Strega (gothic-y setting, young women working in a fancy hotel in a small town, one of them goes missing after a wealthy party- nice and short translated fiction), I Want to Die But I Want to Eat Tteokbokki (Korean translated memoir), and Beartown (since you liked it so much! and there's an HBO show). So all translated works ayy!
I highly recommend you these thriller authors: Lisa Jewell (you should try Watching You), Claire Mackintosh (Let Me Lie, I Let You Go and I See You), Mark Edwards (Here to Stay and Follow You Home) and Higashino Keigo 😆😆😆 Also, the twist in Then She Was Gone was so shocking and heartbreaking simultaneously.
