- New Balance are elite, there, I said it, they are one of the big boys. It's not a big 2 with Nike and Adidas or a big 3 with Nike Adidas and Puma, it's a big 4 because New Balance belong in the mix. (insert mizuno arguments in the comments).

They seem to have their planning sorted by doing things like this, minor updates. No need to fix something that isn't broken, but you can sure as hell improve on it, just slightly. Then, there's also no need to launch it like it's a brand new generation of boot. New Balance tell us exactly what is going on, it's the New Balance Furon V7+ Pro, taking over from the Furon V7 Pro. The + tells you all you need to know, it is just +, it is the same boot, but a little bit better. Well, we hope it is, that's the idea of the review of course!
I do have some crazy sizing advice when it comes to the Furon V7+ pro though, so make sure you check that out before you go and buy a pair, you just need to work out if you're a crazy person like me or if you want to play it safe.
There are certainly some elements here on the Furon V7+ Pro that make it the best speed boot on the market, it might not be to everyones taste, and it's not an everyman boot like the mercurial. However, it's a boot that deserves your consideration if you're looking for a lightweight aggressive speed boot that might just be the best speed boot you can go and buy. Maybe.

They seem and look stunning. Only thing that keeps from buying these furon 7+ is that shallow lacing system. If you want to rid of it since Victor is the same size

Nice content, as usual. Very thorough review. A question, please. Which ones are better for slim/narrow feet, these or the Tekela V4 (whether low or laceless)?
I wanna buy one of the 2 NB options but don't have the possibility to try them on.
The furon tends to be the narrower option overall but both have a reasonable amount of midfoot width.

FYI, New Balance runs about a quarter-size small with regard to length. True for their entire range of shoes, not just football.
This is indeed true. But with this particular boot as I said I think it's worth the risk to push through and not go up the half size that you would normally want to in a NB boot. For example I have gone up half a size in the Tekela but not the Furon. 👍
Curious to hear your thoughts on the teqnigrip socks? Wasn't sure if you were going to dedicate a video to them or not. I gave them a try but have to say I was really less than impressed unfortunately. Comfortable enough at first but became uncomfortable during play and grip was non existent for me especially when my foot got sweaty. Wefoot socks on the other hand...👀 Very impressive.
There is a full video planned for them but it might be a few weeks away. I have some of the same issues you have, such as the grip not being 100% present especially as the socks / your feet warm up, i didn't find them uncomfortable though. WeFoot right now are killing it, unbelievable socks.

You might find them a bit tight even in the wide fit in your usual size. But give them a try, you never know you might liken them like me.
Actually I always want my boots to fit tight as not to have slippage while playing! Hope they find my feet well! @@BootWizard

My question is if it's worth it to save up some money and go for new version?
I also would appreciate Your Tip what football boots to buy under 100$ for my pretty wide feet(please also not too low set toebox...hurts big toe)❤❤❤
No real need to save up for the new version, they are very similar to the old model, so by all means stick with those.

Couldn’t agree more on the sizing! Breathe through that initial claustrophobia - it’s designed to feel vacuum packed on feet! If you’re not into that sorta thing it’s probably not the boot for you.
Yeah I feel like the heel is potentially the thing that will drive people half size up but the overall upper fit is wonderful in my regular size and like you say that proper vacuum packed vibe
I tried them on on my regular size 7us and it was crazy tight but length wise seemed to be perfect. Since most people recommend half size up. Would you still recommend going true to size? Will it stretch nicely after some time and pressure on heel area will be gone too?
Crazy tight sounds bad to me. I would go half up for you if that's how you feel. It will stretch for sure but I think you're maybe already having too many issues to stick TTS.
Now that I've played several matches with these, for me it's the best performing boot for shooting and touch that I've worn in half a decade. The touch doesn't feel like a speed boot. Something about the update to the v7 upper has transformed it on my feet into some sort of unholy control/power hybrid that just also happens to be really light.
I know these feelings are subjective, just throwing it out there.
Feel free to throw them out there. I love a positive take on a boot and seeing someone enjoying them. And I have to agree they are fantastic.
Hi what is the sizing like? I am a size 8 - 8.5 in Adidas and Nike. What would you recommend? I prefer a tight fitting. Thanks

@@npc2k I went up half a size from my true size for my 2E width feet. There's no space at the end of my big toe, a few millimeters of space in front of my other toes. I likely would not be able to wear my true size in these boots, my big toe would be crushed. As it is, I removed the insoles to break them in.

is the dispatch and destroy worth it as well? or are there better options in the price bracket?
Honestly I haven't tried the takedowns this time around yet, however, the first takedown model for New Balance has historically been excellent so worth looking at.

Amazing boots but the bottom lace hole on the right boot broke on my first wear just from lacing them up as I usually do - no aggressive tugging or nothing. Naturally new balance said it’s my fault so no replacement or refund…now stuck with them 🥲 any ideas or diy tips?
Ah man that's a disaster. You could consider trying to stitch it back together yourself, I've seen it done with upper rips, or if you can maybe hold it together you might be able to add a metal lace hole to the upper to reinforce and repair

I'm a US8 normally, I would advise watching the sizing section of the video it explains all of my thoughts on the sizing including my sizes.
is the toe box roomy? compared to a boot like the crazyfast+
probably more roomy than the crazyfast+ but I wouldn't call it roomy
how is the durability? any sole seperation?
Nothing on my end. About 4 hours of wear and no issues so far.
does it have same material as turf version ?
Yes it's the same
They have issues with durability. Some breaking after a few games. Other than that they are great.
I've not seen any reports of issues, not had any problems myself. Interesting one if there are problems here as well.
