Doesn't seem like Law was actually fighting for G Corp. Just there as an independent party to confront Paul cause he's later seen running a soup kitchen for the Rebel army (which he likely cooked himself cause he's a chef)
Paul = Gaslighting about money problems while neglecting. Law = Virtue Signaling the Importance of Money and how someone should go by their word. Also Law = Afraid of Debt. Also Paul = Providing Debt.
Then again Paul was in debt, law has always betrayed him for money so he kinda deserved to keep it for himself at that point, he also actually used that money to get OUT of debt, which is way more responsible than from law’s spending
On one hand, they made Paul *alot* more cool/respectable this time around while still retaining his comic relief tendencies. The bad news is they upped the sliders to 11 on Law in the joke character department and flanderized the fuck out of him with his greed. Paul still views himself as and wants to be the toughest fighter in the universe but at least he kept that shit to a minimum in this game and wasn't bastardized like he was in T5. They gave him his relatively cool personality and spirit back. They COMPLETELY fucked up Law and that makes me sad.
Paul has always been a stand up guy, making him corny made me hate story modes. A guy with that much strength and confidence shouldn’t be treated like some neighborhood comedian who just likes to dream of things he can never get.
To those still not getting it after decades--Marshal's character & plots derive from his name, which is both a play on words in English ('martial law') and also a historical reference to the Marshall Plan (ERP) for economic recovery.
I wish Paul could have at least won one tournament seeing he almost won on the 1st and got up there on the 2nd. Dont like how they just make him a gag character.
The funny thing is that no one ever really beats Paul fair and square either. It’s either just consequences or situations because of which he tends to either miss the tournament/deadline or gets the trophy robbed from him (like when he beat ogre)
@@awaisakram8573 Now that you mention it... Kazuya and Kuma are the only ones who did beat him. Kazuya could have been using the devil gene at that point and he did get careless with Kuma.
@@christophermercer8791 yeah dude, mans is untouchable when he’s serious about fighting. Hope he gets to get the well deserved title under his belt one day!
Isn't that the entire pun about his name, though? It refers to both a play on words in English ('martial law'), and also the Marshall Plan (ERP) for economic recovery.
Harada hates Paul. Used to be the badass that simply wanted to prove himself by winning the tournament. Since Tekken 4 hes been nothing but a comic relief.
In the Beginning, I thought it was funny that Marshall Law is still always broke, now I'm feeling bad for him, just give my boy Law a break and give him the money, he really needs it.
Law literally steals the money from Paul in EVERY TEKKEN ENDING. Also, paul was way more responsible with spending his money because he used it to get out of debt and get him a new motorcycle. Law would’ve gambled it all away or something stupid. Law doesn’t deserve that money after literally stealing it from Paul every time he shares it.
I mean neither of the contestants who participated have any money. We don’t know who won between Paul Vs Kuma, due to it being choice-based. The tournament was never finished because of Azazel’s reawakening, now they’re fighting in a war.
@@qul5816 like forever? Probably Harada already killed this character! For me, after Tekken 5, Marshall paid the hospital bills, Forest got healed and took his father’s place from T6 on…

I mean most of fighter in this war doesn't even fight seriously considering nobody died XD
Yes even kazuya
Probably like Azucena, who just switch side, she appear in both ending
Law and paul are not fighters. Both are comedian. 😂
@@hafirenggayuda Azucena appears in both endings but Law will only appear in the good ending
Wait really? Where's the scene where he was running a soup kitchen? I'm genuinely curious :]

King is so evil, he even broke the bones of Paul's hair.
"MONEY IS JUSTICE."
- Marshall Law, 2024
except tekken is a Fantasy anime like world where 2 corps. started WW3 AND ONE OF THEM HAVE $100 TRILLION that so impossible!

Their punch to each other is foreshadowing the final fight
Kind of genius, in a way, to make the joke characters relevant to the plot. 😅
1:20 Before someone criticizes Paul the tournament was canceled I doubt he saw any kind of pay off.
9:23 how you know Hwoarang's a real army guy. He looks more comfortable and relaxed than we've ever seen him chilling on top of a tank
He's just vibin'

He did win the 3rd... technically. He left before Ogre became true Ogre and then Jin finished him off

Steve winning every weight class of his own tournament is so fucking funny. you know he wasn't cutting weight to requirements for any of those
It’s just sad how greedy Law is and that he still is in debt.
Law is too kind for his own good no wonder his wife and son left him

Yes & his dojo too
