I can't wait to see a series in Australia. I spent time in the Ginetta pits at The Bend, and was captivated by the ease of maintenance. The mid mounted engine cars are so much more work. I'm hoping to bring in a road car to Australia if I can convince the Federal Government to allow it to be registered here. A track car I can drive to the track and do targa events.
Appreciate what Ginetta is doing for motorsports across the globe! We've loved having the presence and support at VIR and on the regional tour. The GTA is a blast to drive and looking to get in a drive in the UK in 2025 on some journeyman events. Ginetta is doing it the right way to grow their brand in more regions!
It is a very polished and pure product, with a philosophy, format and logistical simplicity that make the brand almost unique in motorsport. The only thing, God forbid, that would forbid me from considering investing in the fun would be if the ubiquitous NGOs ever get involved with any events, and take advantage of the genuine growth of popularity to tangentially push pervasive Prog PR. Folks go to circuits to race, to watch racing, and to engineer racing, not to be socially engineered. As one of the few remaining companies that seem to remember this, we should wish Ginetta good luck.
I only get to drive Ginetta's in sims.. :( Lost my arm and busted up my legs in a motorcycle accident in 2018. I took up sim racing in April this year in Automobilista2. I have a bunch of lap records mostly in the G55 and Prototype. I hope to actually drive one of these some day. Don't text and drive please.
