There is just no fluff in there and if there is, there is still that will to pick it up and do something with that is truly meant and can be put out there with a full heart. I have to agree. I'm not a kid today, and I'm primarily listening to black blues. But nothing else had caused such a cathartic effect. For a long time, though, I looked at Gary with suspicious eyes as someone who later called for the blues train. But seeing these late shots is one of the biggest. Not as a composer, but as a performer.
Yeah, after watching this I had to go and watch him play Red House at the Fender Anniversary, stun the crowd, say thank you very much and just walk off. Epic.
A little stevie Ray V around 5:50 or so. Very great guitarist, in my opinion he overshadows most of those he emulates. He was actually capable of accurately representing most guitarists style as well as having his own.
Gary Moore is a player that I listen to when I need inspiration to practice my guitar playing. Every time I hear him, it doesn’t take long until I’m grabbing a guitar. I really like this clip because it’s cool to see and hear him rippin on a Strat. Sort of proves my belief that a player’s tone comes from his hands.
Gray Otis ... guitar pickups, string gauge, picking technique, amp setup, and effects rig, all matter more than the actual guitar. If I reroute the body cavity of my stray and put in a couple of vintage Gibson humbuckers and record it, I bet nobody would guess that I am playing a “Strat.” But the “tone wood” for electric guitars arguments are nothing if not entertaining

@socal rocks Try and put your point across a bit more politely even though he is the best guitarist on the planet,,,no need for thee keyboard warrior.
I like to think he would welcome anyone who wanted to jam.
Good gravy!! He put everything he had into that... That sound is unbelievable you can smell the tubes burning off the amp... Awesome
holy hell... goosebumps. The most underrated guitar player ever.
Sorry, The most underrated guitar player ever. was ROY BUCHANAN
No doubt gary moore was a music genius his talent is unreal its like his from another world rip gary you will be missed.
THE best blues guitar performance in HISTORY.
Gary Moore is probably one of my favorites of all time and still is
Gary Moore and the red strat... tone for days, savage playing, tons of feeling...he abslolutely annihilated any other player out there. EPIC!
Yeah, after watching this I had to go and watch him play Red House at the Fender Anniversary, stun the crowd, say thank you very much and just walk off. Epic.
Yes. This sky is definitely crying with Gary gone.
What a powerful, scintillating guitar player. Wow.
A little stevie Ray V around 5:50 or so. Very great guitarist, in my opinion he overshadows most of those he emulates. He was actually capable of accurately representing most guitarists style as well as having his own.
Nobody can play that guitar like Gary Moore. Rip
If I reroute the body cavity of my stray and put in a couple of vintage Gibson humbuckers and record it, I bet nobody would guess that I am playing a “Strat.”
But the “tone wood” for electric guitars arguments are nothing if not entertaining
Yes, the same can be said for the late, great, Rory Gallagher.
My addiction..Gary Moore..never get enough..love his music more than my GF!!!🎸🎸🤘🇬🇧
An Evening with Gary Moore, Changes Your World! in your Mood, and World. A real Commando, to touch your Soul! and more! RIP ! U Saint in my mind! God Bless!
Phenomenal !
This song is a bit of a blues standard and has been covered many times. I have heard
Stevie Ray Vaughan playing it and I thought that was the best till I heard this. It blew me away!
You had Gary and then everyone who wished they could play like Gary...we all sure miss your genius Gary...🎸🎸🎸
Amazing, playing a beautiful Fender Stratocaster, yet he made it sounds like his favourite instrument, the Gibson Les Paul.... RIP Gary Moore, you're immensely missed 💔
just thinking the same thing: incredibly deep tone for a stratocaster
@@Hamfantasy56 It is all in his fingers
this man literally puts his soul the that guitar
I've always felt that every note Gary played pulled a little chunk out of his body and soul. He just felt what he was playing . Thank you Gary.
as did srv and he did it with a lot cleaner tone. but ya gary is one of the alltime greats.
Some guitars have their own soul.
@@irdummar Gary played guitar with more love and passion than any other guitarist in history. You can just SEE him pour every last bit of his soul into playing that guitar.
@@pwi9161 Indeed. The metal guitarists are fast, but in my view, don't have the soul, creative melodies, sheer passion, of players like Gary Moore, SRV, Alvin Lee (Ten Years After), Eric Clapton, Walter Trout, and the great blues masters like Buddy Guy, Albert and Freddy King. Gary Moore was probably the greatest ever for combining soul, intensity, and sheer kick ass skill on guitar.
Gary Moore - the one and only 🙌🙌. Your riffs and solos will live forever...RIP
WOW!
So beautiful!
Gary was in my top 10, met him in the 80's in Philly at the Trocadero. Absolutely incredible live tone so huge, sounded unreal.
People who don't like this, definitely do not like the music, you just close your eyes and this music takes you to another planet long life, blues, rock and Roll, metal 🤟RIP Gary the Beast Moore 👏👏👏
