Greetings from southwest Montana! Thank you for all you do. Enjoying the reference books you’ve recommended. Building quite a library now. Like you, I appreciate the scientific method and consulting peer reviewed studies. Your approach really resonates with me. So glad I found you! Looking forward to more. Bless you!
There are so many "theatrical" people on TH-cam, which is okay if you enjoy that kind of delivery. I however prefer listening to someone who is more real and authentic. I grow my own plants to eat and for medicinal use and think that you never stop learning, so I listen to you chatting and teaching those of us who are eternal students. Learning about Bee Keeping is on my to do list. 🐝
Same to everything you said! I'm learning mushrooms because of her and signing up for beekeeping this year. I grow a pretty large garden myself as well and my own tea and medicine. I listen to alot of homesteaders, including Leadfarmer77 and Self Sufficient Me, and this channel with her mom is my number one of these top 3. I relate more with this lifestyle and her style.
Right?! There is something so raw, authentic, and loving coming from every one of these videos. I'm always eager to watch because I know it's going to be thought-full and heart-felt information, even if she's just sharing the experience of checking on her chickens, bees, pigs, etc.
You are not a giddy little school girl copying everyone else in this Homestead "community" and for that, we are eternally grateful. That is your charm. We appreciate the real deal. Don't ever change. This is such a great channel! ....and thanks for the tea 😊
I think I figured it out. The reason why you are so appealing. You seem to be the perfect embodiment of hard work, great old world knowledge, tasteful execution of everything you do, gentle truthfulness and genuine femininity. Just missing greatly in this world. Thank you! Please let no one or no thing take that away from your beautiful world. Even if you have to leave YT. Don't compromise!
I looked up this quote in the first minute of your video today. The reason why I looked it up, is because it sums you up really well. I've been watching for a couple of months, to learn from you, and learn I have! The plan for this spring was made a year ago, to plant as many herbs and beneficial plants that I have to, to build my medicine cupboard. I already forage for a lot of things, but noticed that I am lacking in some areas, so I came here to find out what I need to plant to build up those areas. I continue watching you - every single video you upload - because of the words in this quote. Have a blessed day Kaylee. In my mind, you are nothing short of amazing. "Being humble means recognizing that we are not on earth to see how important we can become, but to see how much difference we can make in the lives of others." ~ Gordon B Hinckley
Well said thank you I have been watching for the last couple months I really enjoy listening to her she's very informative and not over dramatic also a lot of fun ❣️
"I'm nothing special." Who are you trying to kid? I don't follow not special people. You are very precious, sweet and totally 'wholesome' and I absolutely love you. (and your Mama)
Thank you to one praying woman from another! I’m newer to herbalism and it’s so cool to see how God has given us everything we need, all around us! Thank you for helping people learn how to take care of themselves and to get back in touch with faith, each other, and the earth.
The fact that you are a homesteader first and share your life is why we watch. I have unsubscribed from some channels that I thought were going to have content I would enjoy. But, after a while, I realized they were just doing whatever they thought would get clicks. Your content is real. The apothecary has come so far! Watching the building and each addition has been enjoyable.
That's so true!! I used to watch a Homesteading couple and had to stop following them because the husband posted more fear-based material than I could handle; even the titles were clickbait to get people to watch. The wife's videos were way more helpful, but I couldn't stand getting notifications and seeing they elicited fear, rather than teaching something worth knowing.
@@TheHoneystead I'll tell you, it's Doug and Stacy, unfortunately. I commented on a post because I thought he was spreading hate instead of offering helpful information and I was SHOCKED when he responded. He was swearing at me and telling me I must be okay with child pedophilia and I couldn't believe it. Just because I don't judge humans for having different ways of expressing themself (cross-dressing), that must mean I condone child pedophilia... I guess I expected better from them. I don't understand how people can claim to be religious and follow Christ, then do the exact opposite of something their Jesus would do. Hypocrisy at its finest.
@@earthzeroapothecary I’m so sorry you experienced that. I wrote this down this morning from a podcast I was listening to and maybe it will be helpful. “Magnify the problem solver, not the problem!” Then I wrote Focus on the goodness of God! It is not that we are ignoring the problem, it is just that we are trusting in God!
Omlord. I can’t believe that you are saying that you are not special. You are doing such a great job teaching us how to use our herbs . Specially, for me,it’s only since last summer that I really started to collect herbs. Never put yourself down. It’s not the way to go. Look at yourself in the mirror, you are very very special. Don’t live no body tell you the opposite or believe the opposite. ❤❤
Love so much your teaching on herbs , also I appreciate your love of family , and your all around love of life ! We all need healing in some way , your love of the Lord and his beautiful provision for our health , body , soul , and spirit ! I am totally with you , love you and your mom ! Blessings ! ❤
O, but you are special! You are so special in the eyes of God. You are teaching us to use the things He so graciously plants in the earth for us to use. Your personality is one of love and kindness. Just keep "beeing" you!! We love you!
Just a note: each of Gods creatures are special and unique, and you Kaylee are no exception. Of all your videos I have seen my favorite tidbit was how to breathe on a bee to revive her when she had gotten too cold. This has worked for me several times. Also, you had a list of things a new beekeeper should do or consider. It was very helpful and encouraged me to get a good beesuit. (I had tried to scimp and made one myself. But, I took your advice and that very week I went to check on my bees and both hives had dumped upside down during a storm. The "good" beesuit was a life saver. Thanks. Jaime B.
I appreciate your logical and scientific approach and the fact that you acknowledge how many other factors, like diet and stress, can influence your mind and body. Herbal medicine is just part of the picture but what a fun picture! Thanks for sharing your apothecary with us, looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
God Bless you for sharing your passion for health and for presenting it as a WHOLE. Thank you for including that your journey is a gift from our heavenly Father. He has richly blessed you and that blessing has rippled further than you realize. THANK YOU and God Bless you. Say hello to your dear mother. I love seeing you two interact and share your opinions with such grace and love.
Thank you! You reminded me about the queen Ann's seeds I saved last year even though you said "yarrow". 🤣 I need to get those out! Oh, another excellent video. 👏 👏👏
I've also loved seeing your 3 generations bee work. What a strong heritage to pass through the generations. Your son might not appreciate it yet but he soon will. Well done. Again.
We’re all super special. I was moping around feeling all grown up, and my mom and dad were like waz up, and my dad scooped me in to him and mommy. It feels so good to not be grown up sumtimes. Then, my lil sis and 2 of my little bros wanted to cuddle, and I was like I’m not in a rush.
I had health issues several years ago and I had to change my eating habits. I am doing great now. Better at 63 than I was at 43. I have dabbled in medicinal herbs all my life but am now taking it more seriously. I am building a mini apothecary. I also have several different herbs that I am growing and will add some in the spring. I am going to go through my seeds and maybe start some. We have a short growing season.
You and your family (mother, grandmother, children) have me hooked!! Online classes. Lots of books. Looking forward to Spring when I can start foraging and gathering! First on the list? A freeze dryer! Thank you so much for your faith; your willingness to share;your expertise and your boundless energy! God bless you!
You are doing what you love. Most folk are doing something that they are ambivilent about or that they really hate because that's all they know. You are showing people that you really can do something that you love to do, that feeds your soul, that helps others. It gives us hope. People are drawn to that because its like a beacon in the darkness. Keep up the good work.
Think the 5 foraging idea is a great place to start. I did this last summer. I have plantain, mullien, goldenrod, elderberry, oxeye daisies, nettle in abundance!
I’m so excited to be ordering my first honey bees in a few weeks! I’ve joined a local beekeeping club that has put me in touch with my new community. Thank you for all the wonderful info❤️
Married for 17 years…and for all this time I thought you were about 30 or even just nearing that decade. I found your channel just a few days ago and have been watching your videos as they come along that resonate with me. I have been learning so much and I so very much appreciate your creations. 😀
I’m so thankful for coming across your channel last week on the Hoss seeds review. I’ve been in healthcare for 30yrs as a nurse and this intro today really sparked a renewed hope and kindled a fire to learn more medicinal herbalism knowledge. So excited to learn from you and thankful for your honesty and sharing tried and true resources to help aide our own research.
Thank you for sharing with all of us. I am just starting to prepare an area for a medicinal herb garden. I learn better by doing. I always learn as I go. I have a few tinctures that I have made so far and I get nervous to use them...I feel like I may have done something wrong and make myself and my family sick. I have used essential oils for many years but feel the herbs could be just as good or better. I guess I lack confidence.
You are very special, you are a child of God and you are sharing your God's given gift. Thank you so much for sharing. By the way I've been watching your videos for about a month and the first time I saw you I thought you were in your 20s. Keep up the great work. Many blessings to you and your family.
I fall back on memories of happy times when I'm stressed. Kind of like meditation in a sense. Its a great tool also!! My hubby bought me two herbal books for Christmas, one a small one I keep in my purse, and the bigger more in depth one here at home!! Thank you for inspiring me!!😀🌿🌱
I just discovered your channel. Love it! I grow a lot of my own herbs and am about half way through a course in Herbalism! I make a lot of tinctures and my own teas. Thanks for being there and all of the information. Subscribes and following you. Many blessings!❤
I love the laid back and honest style of your videos. Currently doing a course in Herbal Product Manufacturing ( Australia) . Late starter as I am a retired biochemist and have been doing some minor products for a local herbal/natural centre for a few years but my previous fields ( water and food) are a little different to herbalism. Some commonalities in the lab and biochemistry skill sets are handy. BTW, hobby beekeeper too last 5 years, only 5 hives but that's all I want to manage with the food garden and animals. I love the wild foraging books that the US has and our indigenous herbs are being catalogued and seriously researched.James Green's book is also a favourite here too. For fellow Aussies can I recommend anything by the local master herbalist Isabell Shippard. Sadly no longer with us but excellent reference material in all her works on herbs is a life long legacy of her experience and knowledge.
Congratulations on the 100,000 subscriber milestone! I appreciate your content rich videos, and have learned a lot from you. I am happy to see all your hard work is paying off!
Hi We are a family homestead since 2012 we decided we want to be self-sufficient grow our own food raise our own food. We always lived for God and the day my husband almost died I decided we have to use Gods medicine. I watched a lot of you tube and Googled a lot .But after seeing the first few videos of yours I now spend hours and hours studying I want to know everything I want to know how to help my family and friends. I want to know everything about herbalism. Thank you and God bless you.
I would love to see an in depth essential oil making video, please. We are growing more herbs and flowers that we could use for oils, but which equipment is best, etc. is hard to pinpoint. I would like to request that if possible. Love your channel. Always makes me smile.
I consider my self a kitchen witch. I em to have a lot of instinctual or ancestral knowledge as to how alot of herbs and medicines work. I have had a lot of ppl tell me they felt better after eating something I hav cooked or a tea I've thrown together. I haven't done any formal Stuy or anything, but since following you I have received a lot of affirmation that my instincts are correct. Thank you for being you, and for the info you share. You are loved and appreciated
Checked out the podcast, love your description!! "trying to shine a little light of encouragement for others to not be afraid to get their hands dirty and learn something old!"
Congratulations on the 100,000 subscriptions. I am like you - I prefer books. I know now days you can look things up but if there is no electricity you cannot. There is something about having an actual book to look at. I love foraging but I am still learning. Funny a cousin came up and we were talking about the different types mushrooms, fiddleheads, leeks/ramps that we have foraged. My dad always said God gave us the product - it is just learning what to use, were to find it, and how to use it. You are SPECIAL. We are all SPECIAL.
I love your channel- it is like sitting with a wise friend. I love how you end each video, "Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty and learn something something old"
What a wonderful introduction to herbalism, thank you for the information and books. I love your honesty about herbs and that we need to do our own research. You are so real and that is appreciated! 💐💐
Been follong you since Jess promoted you to get you to 10K. I believe you were at around 7k to 8k. Love your spirit and content. Keep doing what you are doing. #theJessEffect
I so enjoy watching your videos. You bring it down home so that everyone can understand what you are talking about. I love how real and open you are to share your family adventures with us too. It is almost like we are close friends and even neighbors .
Kaylee GOD is blessing you because you are a beautiful person inside and out. Yes, ppl want what you have.. most of all they love you. I am so happy that I get to follow you and your Mom's journey. I'm so excited for you! 100,000!! Praise God!!
I watched a video of yours not that long ago where you spoke of cleavers. OMG out of no where a couple of years ago it appeared in my flowerbeds. Couldn’t figure out what it was much less that it was medicinal. I cannot say thank you enough for sharing your experience and bringing us along on your foraging trips. Would have kept ripping it out and tossing it otherwise. God Bless.
After watching the episode on cleavers I remembered feeling bummed because I haven’t seen cleavers since I was a kid. It was a few days later that I found a clump growing in my flower bed. Swear it was magic.
I never knew what foraging was. today I went looking for nettles. I did find something else. I'm drying it now. it's Speedwell with the blue flowers. for liver, skin healing I have leafsnap app on my phone it tells what it is. thank you so much. you got me started.
1 day closer to Spring!!!😁I miss my🐝's I have decided I don't like Winter beekeeping. 🤣 You and your Family are a Blessing, keep letting the Lord's Light shine.
Love your channel It's so amazing that we are learning about Herbs and farm fresh foods! Like Einstein said, let food be thy medicine and that's what you're doing. That's what you're teaching.! Thank you so much I'm with you❤
So happy I found your channel. I've been fascinated with medicinal herbs since I was diagnosed with a joint disease 5 years ago but was always overwhelmed when I researched how to get started. What prompted my comment was foraging in your yard. Well since I started to garden 3 years ago nettles have always been my enemy😂 Recently learned they make a wonderful tea so I look forward to, instead of cussing at these plants, possibly making a positive out of them and enjoying😉 Thank you for such amazing information!
Wonderful vlog that will encourage & assist many who are seeking, including me; thanks for sharing! I’ve dabbled in medicinal plants & uses for the past 10 years or so & I’m in my 7th decade. They are my friends & allies with fermented foods. Many blessings to your family🤗💜🇨🇦
You are special and just what I needed I planted alot of herbs last year but have been so scared to do anything with them. You are just who I need to guide me in my journey thank you!!
My first thing I've made was firecider wadnt quite ur recipe need try ir switch it up. But I haven't had a sinus infection for long while now except time we got the horrible c word nearly got me down. But am so grateful for ubwanting to share bc I want to learn and find the time to do all the things.
I found you a few months ago and have loved watching you and your mother. I have started buying some of the herbal books and look forward the learning about bee keeping its something I have been looking to learn. Thank you so much!
I'm a new subbie. I found your and subbed today, and have been watching back to back videos of you since. I'm a maker, from Barbados. I make batural bath and body products with herbs and plant extracts. I'll be making my first tincture soon, so I've been binge watching tincture videos on TH-cam,, and that's how I found you. I'm so happy I did. P.S. You ARE special. You are helping others to learn how to live their dreams. I also live in the countryside and am about to start growing some of my food. So you channel is a bonus find for me,. :o)
I received my seeds today!! I am ready to get my hands dirty and grow along with you. I was so surprised to see what all came with the seeds. Thank you for telling us about Hoss tools Herb seeds. Take care.

☺️ thank you!
Exactly how i feel! Would miss internet as a resource.
I would love to see an in depth essential oil making video, please. We are growing more herbs and flowers that we could use for oils, but which equipment is best, etc. is hard to pinpoint. I would like to request that if possible. Love your channel. Always makes me smile.
I enjoy watching
I consider my self a kitchen witch. I em to have a lot of instinctual or ancestral knowledge as to how alot of herbs and medicines work. I have had a lot of ppl tell me they felt better after eating something I hav cooked or a tea I've thrown together. I haven't done any formal Stuy or anything, but since following you I have received a lot of affirmation that my instincts are correct. Thank you for being you, and for the info you share. You are loved and appreciated
I love this and relate to it as well. Blessings! ✨
Get the "natural medicine comprehensive database". It pools the studies done on the different herbal

Checked out the podcast, love your description!! "trying to shine a little light of encouragement for others to not be afraid to get their hands dirty and learn something old!"

Congrats on the new subs and hitting over 100k now! :)
Congrats on the milestone! Your joy in herbalism has pushed me from dilly-dally research to the need for knowledge 🖤
I am so blessed and thankful that I have come across your channel. Your content is amazing. THANK YOU for your time
I love your channel- it is like sitting with a wise friend. I love how you end each video, "Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty and learn something something old"

Your right books are so valuable. And to have it right there to read is awesome.
God Bless.
It’s that cool how things like that happens sometimes 💛
After watching the episode on cleavers I remembered feeling bummed because I haven’t seen cleavers since I was a kid. It was a few days later that I found a clump growing in my flower bed. Swear it was magic.
Love your channel. I’m learning so much!
Love your channel! We left a huge city for our farm 17 years ago. You will never regret it!!☺️
I never knew what foraging was. today I went looking for nettles. I did find something else. I'm drying it now. it's Speedwell with the blue flowers. for liver, skin healing I have leafsnap app on my phone it tells what it is. thank you so much. you got me started.
Cool idea i would love. Jellies i can do waterbath canning that uses honey and medicinal herbs/flowers and natural pectin like using apple.
1 day closer to Spring!!!😁I miss my🐝's I have decided I don't like Winter beekeeping. 🤣
You and your Family are a Blessing, keep letting the Lord's Light shine.
Congratulations 🎊 👏 💐 well deserved! I'm a recent subscriber ( around 3-4 months?) And I've been loving & learning so much from your videos 😀
Keep being you !
I would love a video that shows all of your top tools in the apothecary! 💓
You are special and just what I needed I planted alot of herbs last year but have been so scared to do anything with them. You are just who I need to guide me in my journey thank you!!

I found you a few months ago and have loved watching you and your mother. I have started buying some of the herbal books and look forward the learning about bee keeping its something I have been looking to learn. Thank you so much!
I’d love a video about how to do a consultation with a client.
