You've had some great history with JD. Very nice web page Dave, thanks for sharing it..
Thanks for the link. You have some good stuff there Restoring the old 50 was a big challenge. Looks great.
Thanks for the awesome tour brother Dave.
Your welcome Ric and was really swell of you to join in with us.
Thanks so much for watching and may you have a very good day my friend.
They have lots of money tied up in equipment here Dave.
I like watching those utube videos where they mow the lawns for free to people in dire straights. They have some amazing tools to maintain lawns today.
Thanks, Dave!
They certainly do but Middletown is huge, the original store they
have in Fairmont WV is twice as big as this one is. Thanks so much for checking out the video Michael. May you have a very good day my friend.
Thanks for the tour Dave! I'd love to pick one of those up!
Your very welcome. Always a fun day to visit a Deere dealer
and drool..... You need that excavator they had there! Thanks so much for checking out the video Mojo. May you have a very good day my friend.
Thanks Dave for the green tour. Green = $ lol! 😀👍❤️🚂💨💨💨💨💨
Your welcome and yep if it's green it's big dollars. Thanks so much for checking out the video train chasers. May you have a very good day my friend. Check out this web page to see some of my old two cylinder tractors:

@@ThatsDavesOtherDoings There was a gent at a place where I worked who was thinking of going to another job and someone told him that he would make big bucks there. He said that the bucks would be the same size, just more of them.
Had a 3025 for years - awesome machine!
There sure is a lot of those compact tractors out there and
everyone seems to say nice things about them. Great to hear
you liked yours. Thanks so much for checking out the video Patrick. May you have a very good day my friend.
It's always fun to walk around the implement dealer.
Yes it certainly is, walk around and drool.....:-) Thanks so much for checking out the video bigbeardog. May you have a very good day my friend.
Awesome footage Dave! That '67 round fender was beautifully restored! Thanks for the tour of the ole' dealership!
I figured you'd like that one Eric, it was beautiful. Thanks so much for watching and may you have a very good day my friend.
@ThatsDavesOtherDoings I sure did Dave! Same to you my friend!
My buddy’s Dad worked for John Deere and said the steel they used was better quality and that has a lot to do with the price . Thank you for sharing
That's great to know, never heard that before. Thanks so much for checking out the green show Mike. May you have a very good day my friend.
Dave I Will take that One 😁 Have a wonderful day Sir !
Come and get it Alan. Visiting a JD dealer always makes me
drool..... :-) Appreciate your tuning in and watching my friend.
Love those green machines! Got 2 myself, a mower and a mini loader/backhoe like the one you looked at in the store.
Nice, that backhoe loader looks like a lot of fun to play around
with. Thanks so much for checking out the video Wilbur. May you have a very good day my friend. Check out this web page to see some of my old two cylinder tractors:

Looking at those tractors makes me glad I only have a quarter acre. I would never be able to afford one of those tractors. I really enjoyed to walkthrough of the John Deere store. Have a great day Dave.
Glad you enjoyed it. Green color means high prices.... :-) Thanks so much for checking out the video Lewis. May you have a very good day my friend.
You are right sir, Lowry’s is a good place. Thanks for the video buddy!
Guess you've been there then Rich, it is a cool store! Thanks so
much for watching and may you have a very good day my friend.
My father's side of the family is from Rochester, PA and Beaver Falls. They all refer to Washington, PA as 'Little Washington'.
And....my grandfather worked for the Pennsy out of the Aliquippa yard.
Yes sir that's exactly what we call it too. How cool, I would love
talking with your grandfather, Aliquippa's bout an hour from here.
from rural king or the local parts store. Thanks so much for checking out the video Bill. May you have a very good day my friend.
@@ThatsDavesOtherDoings yes, I would love to talk with my grandfather again as well. Although we lost him in the 1970s.
hello Dave & it's is Randy and i like yours video is cool &Thanks Dave & Friends Randy
Thanks so much for checking out the video Randy. May you have a very good day my friend.
Never been inside a John Deere store. Thanks for this little slice of heaven...
Wow, now you can die a happy man..... :-) Always a fun time
to visit a JD dealer, do a lot of drooling while you're there too....:-)
Thanks so much for checking out the video Mike. May you have a very good day my friend.
the parts stink how they went up, and up, and up in price! no matter what you need , they are so much
more cost then just a few years ago! nice video, thanks for showing things near you.
Kubota is not much different, prices for their parts are outrageous too. Thanks so much for checking out the show Barry. May you have a very good day my friend.
I was at my JD dealer yesterday. Got out cheap. Just for oil and filter for my
Mower. My first peddle car as a kid was not a car. It was a tractor and had gears for three speeds. Oh to have that today. I don’t remember the brand but had gears. And real tractor seat and peddles. They was in the 50’s. I rode that up and down our side walk for hours at a time.
I was told many years ago that JD has some of the best oil
that can be bought, I've always bought their oil for my tractors
and mowers. My first pedal machine was a tractor too, a red
one, but back then it didn't make any difference what color
it was, I pedaled that tractor everywhere too Beverly, those
were the days. I've still got 2 pedal tractors that my son
had and they are the right color..... green. Thanks so much for
watching and may you have a very good day my friend.
That was a really cool tour with some good history! Wow $18.00 on a battery exchange! Lucky to get $5.00 by me! (Dave).
Glad you enjoyed it. Always a fun day to visit a Deere dealer
and drool..... Thanks so much for checking out the video Dave. May you have a very good day my friend.
Nothin Run's like a Deere !
If it ain't green, it ain't mean.... Thanks so much for checking
out the show Alan. May you have a very good day my friend.
Love those bat wing mowers!
My neighbor has one and it sure is nice for mowing a lot of
acreage in a hurry, but he's a big dairy farmer and has all big
equipment. But all his tractors are red..... sigh..... Thanks so much for checking out the video Ted. May you have a very good day my friend.
John Deere are big over here too I just tried to see what model the farm behind me has but, it is parked with the back towards my house and got his scarifier fitted on. The amount of stuff in that dealers I could spend a day in there looking round.
Figured you had lot's of green in UK. McCormick dealer is
near where I live, I believe those tractors are made in Doncaster
after they took over Case? About 10 years or so ago the dealer
here was the top seller in N. America for McCormick tractors and
they flew him over to the factory. Thanks so much for checking out the video Cedarcam. May you have a very good day my friend.
@@ThatsDavesOtherDoings Yes we have a huge amount of green both for crops and sheep grazing. That's interesting about Doncaster the old locomotive works was used by someone who built agricultural equipment don't think it was Case though. I see in 2006 Case closed down but pics show another factory Searching for tractors built in Doncaster does not show any John Deere.
That's a pretty awesome John Deere dealer Dave. I do love my John Deere equipment. I would sure love to see your 2 cylinders some time.
I will make a video when it gets nicer weather for the 2 cylinders,
I've always owned JD stuff. Thanks so much for checking out the video William. May you have a very good day my friend. While
your waiting for the next video check out this web page which
shows my old tractors:
petcaretips.net/john-deere.html
Case wanted $450 for a starter for our back hoe, a quick trip to the auto parts store and $35.00 later we had a GM starter that worked just fine!....
I can believe that, and with Case you may have had to wait
several months for it to come in. Thanks so much for checking out the video Michael. May you have a very good day my friend.
Old school JD dealer, nice. My Deere dealer is in big-time dairy country. So it is a palace. Makes it good & bad. Parts, all of them in stock. Also, all the money 💰 less turf tractors in stock but bigger farm stuff. I'll have to send some pics, Dave👷♂️🚜🚜🙋
Wish I had photos of the old, old JD dealer that was around
here, it was in a garage, but they had on stock every part you
ever needed for the 2 cylinder tractors back then. Thanks so much for checking out the video Doug. May you have a very good day my friend.
Those ventrack tractors are nice as long as you don't live in mountains like I do. When I lived in central Kentucky the company I worked for used those as mowers but they didn't like steep grades. Where I'm at now it's all steep grades! If a man has one of those tracked RC mowers it would be like printing money!
Ventrac sales all they talk about is how steep a grade those
things can stay on and climb. But they have some very steep
grades here they mow with a remote controlled track machine,
some of those grades look like about 80 or so percent. It's
amazing to watch, hope I can get a video of them doing that
this year.
@@ThatsDavesOtherDoings it's the same here. Like my grandpa use to say "them hills are steep as a cats face!" Those ventrak machines may be able to handle them but I know for a fact that I don't have what it takes to ride one up most of the banks around me!
Tough to fathom: That 1967 JD lawn tractor on display is entering the 57th model year in 2024. That thing looks MINT. Hopefully, the whole thing was refurbished. VERY cool!
Those are collector's items and sell for some nice change if
you can find one. This one sure was nice. Thanks so much for checking out the video Eric. May you have a very good day my friend.
Never were truer words spoken, if it’s green you pay
A LOT more green. 😊
Your absolutely right about that, Kubota is not much different
either in that respect. Thanks so much for checking out the video Alan. May you have a very good day my friend.
*_I had a john deer die cast tractor set when I was a kid. Had lots of fun with it. The JD 1023E is what I need around here. Only 23,000, 0% interest for 6 months. More tractor envy...._*
Bet you wish you still had that tractor set. Go to a JD dealer
and you spend a lot of time drooling.....:-) Thanks so much for checking out the video David. May you have a very good day my friend. Check out this web page to see some of my old two

Thats just one of many JD dealers, can you imagine how many gallons of green paint that is.. 🤣🤣 my brother gifted my dad a JD lawn tractor mower in the mid 80s. And it's been in 3 floods. And is still mowing his grass with it to this day.. just curious. Is it brand loyalty that you went and got a JD battery vs just running to tractor supply or rural king to get one of there's. Kinda like my truck. I only put motor craft batteries in it.. Great tor Dave. Sorry you had to go all the way to Washington to get one..
I've always had very good service life with JD batteries, they
are more expensive but seem to last twice as long as batteries
from rural king or the local parts store. Thanks so much for checking out the video Pappy. May you have a very good day my friend. Check out this web page to see some of my old two
cylinder tractors:

Hi Dave, should I start making a wish list now or wait till I can get few more reams of paper to write on?
Make it out now, then go to a dealer and walk around and drool.....:-) Thanks so much for checking out the video. May you have a very good day my friend.
Dear Dave visited Deere John! 😃
Your right about that....:-) Walk around and drool at all the "dear"
prices...... Thanks so much for checking out the video Louis. May you have a very good day my friend.
@@ThatsDavesOtherDoings In my neck of the woods Deere won't allow potential buyers to try out a skidder. Cat and Tiger Cat allow demo's but for some reason Deere doesn't, but I have a friend who was allowed to try out a Deere 1050 dozer but his guys liked the blade visibility on a D8T better.

careful Dave, a Railroader could walk into a JD dealer, and walk out a Farmer......
...I been in several JD and Kubota dealers, I can tell the Middletown dealer is friendly with the gas cans on the seats of the tractors they are trying to sell...never saw that before.
Well I used to farm on the side before I became a full time railroader, I don't know which occupation is more work.....:-)

Petty cool but all that for battery that you paid John Deere Price for could have went to the Napa store and paid less and got the same battery great video Dave
I always have had very good service life with JD batteries, but
your right, NAPA batteries are very good too. from rural king or the local parts store. Thanks so much for checking out the video Gary. May you have a very good day my friend.
They are green those JD.....
Do they have JD tractors in Sweden? Thanks so much for checking out the video Stefan. May you have a very good day my friend.
@@ThatsDavesOtherDoings Oh yes. I think my farming cousin has a JD combine. What brands his tractors are, I'm not sure. One is mistyped in the registration and using the stated wheels it's the fastest in the county, making 35 mph.... It's red....
@@ThatsDavesOtherDoings Oh yes. I think my farming cosine has a JD combine.
One tractor, being red, is registered with wheels giving it the speed of 35 mph.... The other tractor, I don't remember.
Thank you for this video. Beautiful machines.
Thinking what a person like Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk might do. Too busy to visit a dealer in person: would browse through the catalog online without bothering to look at the prices; if some item catches their fancy, shoot an email or text to their secretary and the item will be on the driveway or backyard that they specify (they have several residences) in a day or two.
May as well buy a new one for every residence with their
money.....:-) But if they want to visit a JD dealer and don't have
the time, they can always watch my video.....LOL Thanks so much for checking out the video Robin. May you have a very good day my friend.
The tractor the next size up to that $23000 tractor is what my brother in law had that was weak as water!
Gotcha on that, doesn't seem like the newer tractors have
the power the older ones did.
Dave, I'm betting you wife feels the same about you going to a tractor dealership as my wife dose with me going to a gun shop. She once told the owner of our local gun shop that she'd prefer I had a drug habit. She says a drug habit would probably be cheaper!
Man can't ever have too many guns! Specially a mountain man.
Thanks so much for checking out the video Jughead. May you have a very good day my friend. I think my wife used to think
the same thing about me when I had all those tractors too....
@@ThatsDavesOtherDoings my pops was a lifer in the military and spent a few years competing on the Army's pistol team. I grew up around gun. I've always had a collection but after my injury I became a CCDW instructor and the neighbor gun guy. I do minor kitchen table gun repairs for buddies of mine.
Where I run into trouble is that they come out with new stuff all the time and I get the itch buy the next great thing. I tell myself that if I get this one thing I'll have all I need and I'll be done for awhile but there is always one more thing just after the corner!

It's a pretty cool place isn't it Mike. You must not live too far from
me then.
Wasn't that fun? Like a kid in a candy store, or a little boy at a Howard Johnsons!!!
You are right about that! Just bigger toys and more expense.
If I'm gonna spend 40k on a vehicle I might as well buy a mustang 😂
