Hello Ron. "Sparkly dress and sparkly vocal" - I like that. What an absolutely adorable young lady. It's uncanny how such a powerful vocal could be delivered by one so young. You're so right about how Emily was holding some of those notes. The piano work was, again, so good for one so young & the smile at the end was just enchanting. Emily takes us through time with every cover song she does. Thanks Ron for playing this & thanks Brad for the request.

A pretty amazing performance by 12-year-old Emily, the strength of her voice is remarkable. One of her very early covers and she took on a Freddie Mercury song. Emily is one of a kind. Thanks, Ron and Brad.

Hi Ron, it's Mick in the UK. Thank you for reacting to Emily's cover of Time Waits For Nobody, and thank you Brad for suggesting it. Well this one is an original Freddie solo and is from Time The Musical from 1986, which was produced by Dave Clark of The Dave Clark Five fame. The song was originally just called Time because it was the title song of the musical. Dave Clark asked Freddie to be in the musical, but he declined saying "Darling, I put everything into a song when I perform it, but I couldn't perform it night after night in a musical." Freddie did perform another song in the musical called In My Defence. Time The Musical was ahead of its time (no pun intended) and was the first musical to use holograms, one of which was the last performance of Sir Laurence Olivier. Dave Clark and Freddie remained friends for life and was the only person at his bedside when Freddie passed away. Emily was only twelve when she recorded Time Waits For Nobody, but I wouldn't be surprised if Freddie is looking down on her thinking " Go girl, you've got it." Emily has done a fabulous job here both vocals and piano. So, thank you Ron for your reaction. Take care, kind regards, Mick.

Good morning Ron, this was a song and video (Freddie’s version) that was dug up decades after he died. Freddie had made the video for a project that never took off, and the director or producer that was doing it packed away everything, and then stumbled upon this years later. Em is a huge Freddie fan, and did her cover very shortly after his version was published. I’ll let Mick know this is here. I’m positive he will have all the details.😊 he is a living encyclopedia of music history, especially Emily’s.
