Hey I noticed you don’t have the CB Radio controls on your left control module. Did the bike come with it and you managed to remove it? If so…how?

    Hello
Can you share what cable you used to connect the iPhone cable to the usb in the pannier?
I’d like to do this as it’ll give charge and screen/info play capability, which you cannot do via the Aux Bluetooth connection mode
    Thanks!

Watched again your video and had a question:
Your first option of running a 6ft iPhone cable from the usb in the saddlebag didn’t work, so your second try you fished the usb cable from the saddlebag and connected your lightning cable through your cubby. What’s the difference between first and second option? They both use a lightning cable that connects to that usb in the saddlebag no? Did I miss something ? You briefly referred to a ‘expensive proprietary usb’ cable. What’s that?

It is only the normal charging cord for the iPhone. I tried different extensions but none worked. Very strange but only an original cord works. Not a longer one or a usb extension cord worked. So I pulled the Honda cord out of the saddlebag or pannier and stretched it towards the front of the bike and then Zipped tied it in place. Connected my iPhone cord, taped it securely to the Honda cord and the furthest I could comfortably reach and mount my phone holder was right where it came out. I drilled a small hole in the glove box and pulled the cord through and filed a small cutaway in the rim up the box so the lid does not smash the cord. I really would prefer it on my handlebars but this works nicely and functional with controls on my bars. Hope that’s clear. If not right back. All the best.
