Try as I might, I could NOT jump up to the top level to access the chest. I jumped all around the stack of chests and was unable to scale them. That diamond robe looked awesome.

When you say "just jump up again" at 3:20 that literally does nothing and I'm about to break my controller because I've been jumping in place for five minutes

I love this game but there are some really dumb puzzles. No reason why I can’t just use the broom? Not once in my 40 hours so far have I ever been told to lift a box that I’m standing on. I didn’t have any idea you could even do that. 😩
I think if you use Levioso, you can climb it from the ground onto the box as well. You can try it out. This was my first and only time I did this quest, but I think it's possible.
@@SpookyFairy well I appreciate your video. This quest was frustrating because it seems so out to place from every other quest I’ve done so far. I made no sense to do all this crazy climbing when we have brooms.
Me too man. I don’t understand how YOU CAN USE UR BROOM OVER MOUNTAINS AND ACROSS LAKES but no you can’t use it to go up a ledge….

It explains that there is a charm on the castle to prevent Broom flyers.
Thank you for telling me how to utilize the blocks. I knew I was supposed to use them for climbing, but being unable to set them on top of anything was confusing.
The climbing for the loot on ps4 doesn’t work. You can levitate the block and climb the first part but when you try to jump up and climb to the part with the loot on ps4 you just don’t climb up at all
This was my same experience as well on Xbox one. I thought it was just me.

Tedious quest. Can't use broomstick to get to the top because reasons, and can't simply walk through the windows with large holes in them because also reasons.
There's a much easier way to get the chest.When it says get to the roof go to the small gate in which the box is in just cast Depulso twice and it'll fall.Then cast Revelio and it will show where it is

Fun fact, when interacting with the lever to open the main gate, if you spam Flipendo (or Depulso I forgot which one it was) + Arresto Momentum non stop for about 30 times, the gate goes up instead of down, and you have about 2 second to cast accio on the thingy before the gate collapses back :D
Ermm ??? That's how you're supposed to do it anyways but oki
If you spam the Depulso loads of times then use glacius, you’ll have 4 seconds before the gate comes down. Also, there are some chests in that puzzle room that I can’t reach, I’ve tried loads of attempts to get to them. Any tips?
@@warrenwoodhouse mine is bugged too I can’t jump up on the second jump for it and it won’t let you use levioso to get the box up high enouhh
@@crazycarmal9792 Same. I’ve even made a video showcasing the bugs I’ve found in the game. Interestingly, that cloth in the puzzle room of Falbarton Castle is only available on the PS5, Xbox X|S Series and PC versions of the game. Which is sad. They’ve added a new update patch for the PS4 and Xbox One versions but for the life of me, I can’t figure out what they’ve fixed or resolved. In fact, it still has issues that need to be addressed. It’s not a fantastically programmed game.

2:24 the funny thing is you don’t have to actually go round to lift the box. If you angle yourself just right in front of the crawl space you can just shoot the box lol. That’s how I did the mission

Use the levitating spell to levitate it and then use the freeze hand spell to hold it in place, Jump on the block and then climb to your needed desire… your welcome

In my game it's Bugged even if i climb on the Block after levitating it i can't higher to get the chest.
@@ryunoraf4379did you find a fix?? I cannot levitate it and it stay in position. I also cannot do as this guy in the video and levitate whilst I'm on top of the box either.... beginning to really piss me off

I can't make blocks keep floating once I'm on them. And certainly can't cast WinLev when I'm standing on top of them.
I had to get through those parts by finagling the blocks to set down sideways so I could pull myself up the walls.
I hope they have the ability like Link in Zelda game, climb wherever they want, like so much easier and effortless

For whatever reason when I’m on the top of the box wingardium leviosa don’t work please help me
I can’t double jump up to the second/top floor once I have levitated the box to get up to the stacked items. Why isn’t it working for me?
Me neither. I think it’s a glitch on console. Or maybe PlayStation. I’m on ps4 and can’t get up to the top level either. Just trying to get that last bit of loot

I felt so defeated when I decided to look up for the solution but it makes me feel a little bit better that I wasn't just me, it was this sh*** part.
Doing this quest for the first time I havnt seen any of the future ones but so far this is my least favorite
Edit just finished it best reward tho being able fly on a hipogrif is amazing

You can climb from the bottom I think as well, if not, go to the very corner and cast at lowest angle as you can.

EDIT: there’s an easier way to hold the gate open and you don’t have to jump on the crates and platforms, spam Depulso (i think it’s the correct one) and when the gate is completely up quickly use Accio on the thing on the wall to pull it down so the gate won’t close!
For some reason after I use levioso on the box and climb up on the platform I can’t jump to climb up to the last level😒 so now I’m stuck in the mission
The second jump right!?? He just jumped up there and only leviated once. I'm stuck on the platform
@@jessehouck i figured it out! You don’t even have to climb up there at all! Just stay on the floor in the room and spam Depulso (i think it’s the correct one) and when the gate is completely up quickly use Accio on the thing in the wall to pull it down so the gate won’t close!

I went to another video that did what I described, I was happy that what this creator did in this video was so unnecessary (I actually just stopped watching the video entirely after he went on the platforms and after I tried it with no luck) so I have no idea what he did after he got in the platform lmao
@Annabxxe maybe you can help me out with a new problem I am currently having!!!! I somehow glitched off of the mountain side and my whole character and map is stuck. Everytime I close my application and start the game again, my character does not respawn in a new position to start. Everytime I load, she's glitched. Anything I can do!?? Please 🙏 😭
Use depolso on the gate and then use accio on the lock thing on the gate
Opening the gate was by far the most difficult part for me. I didn’t know I had to use Depulso twice. Thanks for the help!!

I was looking for something that's not actually in this video, unfortunately (I figured it out on Xbox then forgot something when playing again on PC), but after reading the comments, I'm kind of surprised so many people are having issues with this. The guy in the video is making it WAAAY harder on himself. For all those boxes, you don't have to stand on them. Use wingardium leviosa (it will auto-switch if you use accio as well) to move the box around the side, where the white paint that signals a climbing section is, then use levioso and just jump and climb the box. A lot of people seem to be very confused about this and are finding all sorts of ways around it, but the game does do a decent job of telling you what you need to do, so all the people saying "it doesn't tell you anything", I'm sorry, but it does, you're just missing the environmental cues.

At 3:22 there is no gray canvas on the crate and my character can't climb up.
Use Accio to get that block out in the beginning way easier.
Iam not sure why but it doesn't let me climb up for the loot in the gate mechanic house. I can go on the first step but lifting the box makes it disappear and my character doesn't climb up higher. :D

@@clbrannen don't worry. You can visit the place in free roam after the mission and have full access to everything. Just tried it.
@@Sandmann1193 I don't know. Maybe my game is glitched. I just finished the mission and game straight back and am still unable to climb to get the loot chest at the top

Same have been trying all kinds of stuff for hrs. Clearly any consul that isn’t ps5 or the latest Xbox is super glitchy. They should have done much better with this game for how many “setbacks” there were and how many years they “devoted” to creating this game

You actually don't even have to stand on the box while casting levioso. Just cast levioso while standing next to the box and it will float to the appropriate height needed to help you reach the higher spot.
but when you release the spell the box drops.

Didn't even think of levioso.. My extra backside was doing a full wingardium leviosa then using arresto momentum on it in midair.. a LOT fiddlier than that but the same result I guess!

They patched the stand on top of box and float part. You just have to use regular old leviosa then climb up.

I got the chest no problem. You can levitate it when not standing on it then jump on it too. I didn't know about the double repulso to hold the gate tho. I tried a repulso then arresto momentum which gave her ample time to walk through but she just stood there mumbling ☹️☹️
This mission was a pain but well worth it
Dude I've been watching my boyfriend trying to beat this level for almost a month and then I show him this and he just start laughing so hard 😂😂😂and kissed me and said why didn't I think of that 😂😂😂 meanwhile we were at home randomly hanging out and now he's got me cuddled up playing Hogwarts 😂😂😂and I'm a Slytherin 🐍💚 and he's a Gryffindor 🦁🧡

Theres no consistency with how high you can climb or jump.... its so annoying
I knew how to get on the box and then on the one level but I can't get on the second level my character will just not climb the second stack of boxes it's so frustrating

For some reason, it just never occurred to me to use the same spell twice. This is actually the second puzzle to employ that solution.
i knew i had to float the box but i didnt figure out the accio to pull the handle. ouch.
I can't even get to this quest, because the option wasn't there after speaking to her, she just walked away and I never got an owl post or any quest. So this has been completley locked out for me :-(
If you’re talking about after she talks to you by the shore during “girl from uagadou” during the summer don’t worry. The quest pops up a fair bit later. Sometime after you’ve attended beasts class
Put the crate in the middle and sideways then jump on it then jump to the ledge
I figured i needed to make that dam box levitate but the fact i never tried to use levioso instead of w leviosa is beyond me
It’s quite simple, instead of looting the chest, WL charm, float it over to the area where you can’t make the jump, aresto it midair and climb up. You’ve got to think about using spells in combinations
i have tried this but it just disappears..
@@Grapepary it’s timing then. The box did disappear until I got my timing down, you’ll want to raise the box high enough that when you switch spells it has time to freeze in place at a proper height. Took me a few tries.

well that did not work
I was sick of this mission and barely quiting at the beggining and then i Saw what they did to buckbeack senior and from that moment on, it was personal
Idk if it's for the several spells we learn that we forget to just look around or maybe the interactibles don't shine (for me it didn't) but Thank you for this vid. I kept the gates open with Arresto Momentum and the bitch just stood there, fucking hell.
Anyone having trouble with making the boxes levitate use the spell with the feather icon.
