  • Boiling maple syrup! Join us for a day at the maple sugar shack, collecting sap and making it into sweet maple syrup. We boil maple syrup on our small evaporator in the backyard. Syrup season is one of the best times of year, it is the first sign that spring has come! Each spring we try to make a year's worth of homemade maple syrup for our homestead.

What a coincidence that I would randomly watch some random video by some random channel I've never heard of about some random subject (maple syrup) and end up seeing a nice Christian couple reading scripture while enjoying their day together; the Lord has His people everywhere, i suppose ;) God bless!

I was singing along to “In the Garden” 😊. Thank you for sharing your faith and venture. I’m leaching acorns right now for flour and your maple syrup would be delicious over acorn pancakes 😋. God bless!

Great video . Brought back good old memories when we used to boil it in a flat pan all day/night long. I am looking to get back into it. I wondered how those pans worked. Great easy and fun system. Thanks for the info and the nice fun relaxing time out there with you . And nice tune /singing

it would be easyer to just draw the syrup off right from the rig

I don't think you realize just how dangerous it is to have that propane tank so close to the open fire.
    Please be more careful.
