Just a little insight into a day I might spend alone - foraging for Wild Chamomile (Pineapple Weed) and Wax Currants. At the end of this video I share some of my thoughts on my lifestyle, and what drew me to leading a life of simplicity and quietness. I have not yet mastered how to live this way, but every day I feel greater abundance and love. Hugs to all!

you are absolutely right, I finally bought a few acres in the farm side of the panhandle, after 8 deployments I can say my state of Mind and blood pressure has defently improved. only issue is the countryside is not as community based as everyone thinks unless you're family has routes established

I was too I was arguing with my dad to start up a real estate business and making millions aggressively. Universe gifted this to me suddenly. This gives me to think more about life.
This is literally my dream. I’m a very introverted person since I’ve struggled with mental health and bulimia. This is like a fairytale to me, like a way to escape. Your videos make me want to just go outside, sit under the tree, and write a book as the sun sets. Your videos have helped so much with panic attacks. Also, trying out some lavender drinks since I’ve seen them on your channel.

This video hit home. I've been studying 6 hours a day for the past 6 years to be the best at my firm, but I do feel the need to let it all go and move somewhere cozy, live in harmony with nature, and be myself. Ever since I was a kid I was dreaming to have this beautiful house near a lake and be surrounded by nature. Now I know that this "house" I was dreaming of, doesn't have to be a palace. A simple, beautiful cottage will do. I need to find a place like this..

As a single early 20s man I am trying to save and find a partner to live exactly like this. Living off your land, raising a family in the woods and meadows, surrounded by nature and far from the chaos of the city.

Literally same, but I live in California and finding someone with similar values is like finding a needle in a haystack. I have a rough 3 year plan to go off God willing....but even if I don't find someone willing to do it with me I'm still gonna go for it.
@@qreua_3075you'll find someone. There are plenty out there that want to do this, just takes time to make it all come together. I would encourage you to get out of Cali sooner rather then later, but I understand if financially it just doesn't make sense yet.
I live in AZ right now and plan to move to somewhere in the Pacific Northwest in a year or two. Possibly Northern Idaho or Oregon, whatever land I can afford really. Goodluck in your adventures and endeavors!

Congratulations on your recovery (from "civilization")! As a life-long "nature-girl" and introvert, I had always aspired to live as you do. I escaped Brooklyn as soon as I could (mid 20s) and have steadily progressed to living as close to nature and as peacefully and remotely as possible. Now, in my mid 50s, I am in graduate school, making a career change to become a therapist. My goal is to use nature as much as possible to help clients find peace and healing, no matter what their challenges might be. I am adding your channel to the top of my list for "homework assignments" for clients - other than forming a direct relationship with nature - to aid them in finding peace, serenity and clarity, and to help in restructuring their paradigms. Thank you for sharing your life with us!

Spending time alone is truly restorative and recharging. Anyone who tries to tell you we're programmed to be social creatures who pine away and die unless we have an intimate partner has never experienced the complete freedom your mind has when it's unhampered by other's input.
I actually believe extroverts are broken people. The constant need to fill up one's life with people and activities seems like a desperate attempt at distraction.

I get it. I as a child would go out far into the woods and embrace the trees, the coolness as I lay in the moss, and the soft breezes. Not feeling alone and truly at peace...peacefulness. I'm so glad young people, like you, today are finding a way out of living in a fast pace world with so many high expectations. It warms my hearts. The Lord said keep your eyes simple. See...this way of life helps you connect to all he has created to give and sustain you. I find your channel very soothing. I live on a rural mountain acreage in a cottage-style cabin with my husband of almost 45 years, chickens and a cat who adopted us almost 6 years ago. I rarely ever see anyone other than my husband and on rare occasion, one of my sons. I love wild birds, flowers and herbs; we grow a good bit of our own food and preserve it, just put up a good bit of jam and pear butter from pears grown here. We made a purposeful choice to live away from most of society and other than my TH-cam channel and ones I sub to, plus the long-running chicken forum I have been a member of for almost 15 years, I have no social media attachments. I am absolutely liberated by your channel and your journey. I am growing a greater sense of understanding how much beauty are in the little things in life. I am absolutely in love with your videos. They are such a breath of fresh air in this hectic world, and I the words you said at the end really resonated with me. I too spent my late teens and early twenties overworking myself to save up money and fit the societal ideal and felt very disconnected from my spirit. Almost one year ago, I moved out west to the Okanagan valley (which looks very similar to the mountains in which you live!) and have found so much peace here living rurally. To be able to spend the day sketching, gardening, reading, and wandering in nature brings me so much joy, and I really don't mind being alone because I am now able to find so much joy and abundance in my own heart. I am hoping to maintain this slower, quiet lifestyle for as long as it resonates. Thank you for sharing these beautiful snippets of your life with us, and for being such an inspiration to be more mindful about how we move about and relate to our world.

I'm what is called an ambivert (new term I learned lol). Sometimes I need to be around people, but often I really need to be alone. As a single mother, I can't even get bathroom time alone. For now, I live vicariously through you because I would love a piece of this at times :). Beautiful home!
Yes as a preschool teacher I often find myself in similar situation, especially when it comes to bathroom time! We have 16 kids in our classroom, it can get hectic. These videos are my escape from long work week as well, I’m glad we can find little moments to recenter 🤍

Your narration has such an immense calmness. Your voice is so relaxing and soothing; so rich with peace and wisdom. Your videos are reminiscent of one of my favorite movies, "A river Runs Through It". I grew up in Montana, similar to this setting (Not too far from where you are) and can't imagine living any other life.
You have a beautiful spirit and your voice is so calming.

I was asking my soul, what do you need? And it replied “I want to sit quietly living 100% in the present moment. I was a bit pushy to start doing something but my soul was alright. I spend 1 hr doing absolutely nothing than staying quiet with my own spirit.
Ps. Don’t be afraid of the quiet times as it’s where you find peace. :)

I look at your videos before I go to bed or feeling very tired or anxious. It beings me so much peace and joy. God is using you in amazing ways to spread love, peace and serenity to others which in return comes back and blesses you. I am a retired teacher( early due to health) and children need more teachers like you. You are. taught me so much and I am sure I am old enough to be your mother 😊... I journal everyday and do a lot of crafts so please know many of your quotes are going to be in mine. I habe a garden journal that I took flowers and pressed in with a pocket I made and every time I open it the aroma is beautiful so I get it!
