Thank you so much for this video. Well put together and so much useful information. Asked and/or answered all of the same questions I had regarding the soil test process.
Thanks for all of the continuous information you have provided over the years, all incredible stuff! I'm sure you saw it but if not and you want to protect your privacy, your address is listed on the bag around the 8:30 mark
How long after pulling samples is the soil viable to send in. Example if I pulled samples in Feb but never got around to sending them in and they have been stored in a zip lock bag. Can I still send in or do I need to resample?
Ben - Soils tend to mold when stored in a plastic bag. It would be better to collect fresh samples. Soil stored in a paper bag will be find to store and then test.
Hey I have a question because I had my dream buck show up last year and I only got 6 pictures of him all really early morning and late night if that happens this year what should I do I have a good size clover food plot but I have 3 growing bucks on trail camera right now should I put out a vine mock scrape and what month should I put it out?
doesn't make sense if we put what we intend to plant.. i plan on a spring/summer blend- then a fall brassica type blend. I'm prob only doing one sample per yr..
Excellent video
The best keeps getting better
Thanks Travis!
Thanks for the great video, looking forward to using some of that knowledge when I get my own property.
Johnathan - I look forward to hearing about your Proving Grounds!
8pm that night:
"Mr Grant covering those bare spots"
😂😂😂
I don't want any exposed soil!

You just tell me what I should do because I’m willing to learn
It's a bit early to put out a mock scrape but it won't hurt anything!
Ok I’m probably going to wait until July or early August
Can we see a sample report somewhere?
Ron - Stay tuned - it's in the next episode! We show and explain the results from the sample we took in this show!
Dr. Grant, how can I contact you to get your opinion on making a hidey hole food plots?
Here works!
@@GrowingDeerTV how big should a hidey hole be?

Sorry Eric - I don't understand your comment.
I always sent the tops in too. Oops
I'm glad I'm not the only one!
I see all that tall vegetation and think TICKS 😬
Andy - Ha!
