Should i go for this or the predator helios neo with i5 13500hx and 4050 loq is a bit cheaper but i think the predator is better overall but tell me how does the performance compare and is it future proof?
Yeah it's better in terms of performance and future proof but as you said, Predator is overall better if you are satisfied with gaming at high settings...
It depends,if you want to buy a laptop for gaming I suggest you for a laptop with the latest GPU you can afford.
Because the GPU gets outdated very quickly.
If you are planning to do video editing at 4k and colour accuracy along with gaming only then go for this variant of predator.
Recommendation if your budget is 95k
Only gaming(GPU will last long): Lenovo loq i5 12gen + 4060(will cost you 71k with credit card offers)
Video editing 4k + gaming(GPU won't last as long as 4060): predator with 4050(gaming fps won't be as good as above loq here)

HX > H > HS > P > U
There is a huge difference between any H and U/P series (these are more battery life oriented)
Meanwhile HX and H are almost similar HX can use more Wattage and can provide slightly better performance than H ( Not a huge difference tho)
HS is kind of underpowered version of H

Bro your videos are great but can be misleading . Instead of walking in deserted area where less GPU is needed play in crowded areas where GPU is extensively utilised and frame drops are observed. That is where we find capability of laptop/GPU

H model also undervolt by third party app or only hx undervolt
You can undervolt both the CPU H and HX....
And in Lenovo you can undervolt/set your power limits/temp of your CPU through vantage software

I've never heard of that processor, but it probably wont bottleneck a 4050 (or it wont be a significant amount). U can always check with a bottleneck calculator and use a similar CPU if u cant find the exact same one.

Only downsides to this laptop are thermals. Reaches up to 90 degrees celsius on the cpu at times.
You need to use it on balance mode with max fan while gaming and use a cooling pad
@@StealthGamerSG I found out what's causing high temps 80-90 degrees celsius, it's the turbo boost of the CPU making the clock speeds reach up to 4.4ghz which was unnecessary. I tried first disabling it and got good temps 60-70 degrees but performance was bad, cpu clock speeds were only up to 2ghz. I then re-enabled turbo boost and changed power mode in system power and battery, and changed from "balanced" to "best power efficiency". Temps were only at 60-70 degrees and the performance impact was only minimal since the CPU was capped up to 3.2ghz. It's the middle ground option I think.
@@arclight7892 What you have to do is set your system to best power efficiency mode in windows settings, and use your fan to max fan by setting in custom mode instead of turbo mode.

I would go for the LOQ 2024 model with the rtx 4050. You get almost 35% more fps with the 4050. Plus, the 2024 model looks nicer in my opinion. The negative point is that with an HX processor battery will last a little less.

Its a i5 12450H, not a i5 12450HX. Anyway, its a pity having an RTX 4060 paired with this processor. There is a lot of bottleneck that wont let the 4060 work correctly.
Well there doesn't seems any bottleneck in heavy gpu demanding games ... You can see in the video that's cpu doesn't reaches 90%+ and GPU is utilising more than 90% in almost all the cases ....
