    Nice review Jim! So true about being visible to cars...I suspect that with more electric bikes and scooters, drivers will be become more aware of us on the roads :) :) Have fun playing Frogger :)

      Thanks Tim, maybe in Canada, I think here in California more bikes and scooters just mean more targets!

      Gotta get a scooter with good Lights on it. Yume has some good ones

      @@curtflirt2 The Leger Pro has pretty decent "be seen" lights, but 12 miles riding home at dark left me wanting more for seeing road debris!

    Very well detailed, would be awesome getting some comparison to other escooters like the emove cruiser for example ! (I know you did a whole video about it, but maybe some way of ranking them for exemple in term of range ?)

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That's a good idea, I can range rank my top 5 range scooters. One things that is wild when I look at my data is Ebikes are nearly twice as efficient, but still a few hundred times more efficient than an electric car. Thanks

    Do you know why my scooter the same one from this video makes clicking sounds from the brake

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are a few reasons, i'd first try adjusting the brake tighter or looser on the brake nut. It could also be a little piece of debris that gets stuck in the small gap between the inner and outer drum.

    50 psi to 37 psi is a big difference.

      Very true, still the ride was very firm. I didn't really want to try any lower pressure.

      @@ElectronSurfer what do you mean with firm.. Shaky ride and NO comfort?

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jonasdromberg4365 No the ride isn't shaky, the suspension is firm meaning at my weight it is not absorbing very much road shock. It didn't feel to have much more comfort than you'd expect with air tires and no suspension.

    Looks like the DualTron mini

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This and also the Speedway Leger Pro share a lot of the same features.

    •  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ElectronSurfer I'm deciding between buying the leger pro 25.6ah and the dualtron mini 21ah. I live in a hilly area and weight 53kg. Regarding power, do you know how they both compare to each other? I've read that dualtron mini has a 500w, 735w and 1000w, so I can't really understand which of the values is the right one. Thank you!

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @ I will have a comparison video out Friday. I got a much better hill climb result with the Leger Pro, I am 79 kg. Dualtron doesn't' typically disclose the actual motor rating they use a peak power rating which is max battery voltage (58.1 or 58.8) times the controller output, both of these are 25amps. So they should both be in the 1,400 watt range. I had better speed and power with the Leger but the suspension on the Mini is a lot nicer.

    •  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ElectronSurfer thank you, I'll wait until Friday before I decide myself then! Yes, both have the same peak power, which is 1450w. My city has plenty of cobblestones stretches, which I can avoid if I want to, by taking a longer route, so maybe the DT would be better on this kind of terrain. Anyway, I'll be waiting for you video! Thanks, keep up the good work!

    its never good to put less air in the tires that the need for lots of reasons. First you will get a flat tires all the time cuz of it. Also you are getting less miles out of your battery cuz of it and less speed.

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You make a good point, I generally recommend putting right at the max pressure rating. With some tubeless scooters I even go above it. Just like with solid tires some folks are willing to risk flats for comfort, thanks for stopping by!
