I wanted to ask how applicable your videos are to Mechanical Engineering PEs in California (specially in greater San Diego Area). I am planning on taking my PE exam this January 2025 and am working to educate myself on the best opportunities it opens for me as well as building a network for guidance in this new realm.

The advice in this video applies well to Mechanical PEs, especially for career growth and networking, even though some examples are civil-focused. In the San Diego area, a PE license can really open doors in industries like energy and biotech, allowing you to take on more design and leadership roles. if we dont have a CE degree can we still take these tests?

@ExpatTraderFX Yes, you can take the FE and PE exams even without a CE degree! The requirements vary by state, but you typically qualify through a combination of education (engineering or related degree) and experience. Even without a degree, enough engineering experience can qualify you. It might be a bit more challenging to get licensed without a CE degree, but it's definitely possible. Check your state's requirements for the most accurate info.
