Hi Anthony, I love your channel having been subscribed for a while now.
I wanted to ask how applicable your videos are to Mechanical Engineering PEs in California (specially in greater San Diego Area). I am planning on taking my PE exam this January 2025 and am working to educate myself on the best opportunities it opens for me as well as building a network for guidance in this new realm.

@ernestoportillo2156 Thanks for the support-glad you’re enjoying the channel!
The advice in this video applies well to Mechanical PEs, especially for career growth and networking, even though some examples are civil-focused. In the San Diego area, a PE license can really open doors in industries like energy and biotech, allowing you to take on more design and leadership roles. Also, consider joining local engineering groups (like ASME) to expand your network.
Best of luck on your exam in January-feel free to reach out with any more questions!

if we dont have a CE degree can we still take these tests?

@ExpatTraderFX Yes, you can take the FE and PE exams even without a CE degree! The requirements vary by state, but you typically qualify through a combination of education (engineering or related degree) and experience. Even without a degree, enough engineering experience can qualify you. It might be a bit more challenging to get licensed without a CE degree, but it's definitely possible. Check your state's requirements for the most accurate info.
