Man , if I didn't know any better , I would think I was watching the History channel (which I love). Superb job on the history of the fort! Editing and narration very professional . Thoroughly enjoyed that you guys! I learned a lot from this video! God bless you both. Favorite channel!
Mr. Tolleson, you have done a outstanding youtube videvido on The Castillo de San Marcos Fort. You handled the video like a professional History program. One day I will try to see the fort in person. Thank You again!
Very interesting tour,. Excellent informative overview of the fort. See why St. Augustine is on the map. Clay you look lovely in that flowing dress. Tk you for sharing.
Great to see another video from the Old City with you and Clay. St. Augustine is still one of my favorite places on earth to visit. The plan is to have our little destination wedding there once I join the ranks of retirement. Always look forward to your videos, stay safe and keep-'em coming Darryl!!!
Excellent video Darryl! Video quality, b-roll, narration, content... all top notch! St. Aug is one of our favorite spots, yet I learned a ton from this vid. Thanks!
A regular stop for us on our way from Maryland to Florida over the years. Very cool place. We stayed at North Beach Camp Resort in 2015 and I finally took an extended tour of St. Augustine city. What an awesome unexpected surprise! We'll try your Ocean Grove RV resort next trip.
@@TollesonLife one of these days we'll have to get together. We live in central Florida now and venture out in our coach. In fact we just got back from Blue Water Keys resort, site 72. Just a few down from where you stayed.

I'm getting close but I'm not there yet
Love the video. You were about 45 minutes from my house, Green Cove Springs, been to the Fort probably a 100 times. It was go to place for school field trips and my mom love St. Augustine, so we were over there all the time.
Hey Paula! Thats awesome that you are so close to St. Augustine. My brother and I plan on returning on the Harleys in August, just like last year. Gonna make it an annual trip on the bikes. Will be tent camping!!! All the best!
Great video Tolleson life, I was looking up videos on St Augustine because we have a video coming out on it later on our channel. We really enjoyed the video and subscribed to yalls channel and hit that bell to make sure we don't miss yalls awesome videos!!!
Nice video man. love that place. Captured Indians were sent here for internment. The prisoners that were brought to Fort Marion had fought with the great war chiefs Chihuahua, Naiche, and Geronimo. For years they had struggled against the efforts of the American Army, resisting plans to push them onto reservations. But after years of hardship and struggle, these people and their chiefs began to surrender one by one. The United States Government, fearing that if left in the west these Apaches would go back on the warpath, decided to imprison them in an eastern, remote location. General Sherman and President Grover Cleveland decided on the old Castillo in St. Augustine, Florida. Over 500 Apache would eventually see the inside of these walls.
I appreciate your research and the time it must have taken to shoot and edit this! Very professional looking video. Your investment in good video equipment is paying off. As always, Clay looks great...she has a great sense of style.
