I think it's smart actually. By putting this on trending, they're basically saying "look, he's actually not as bad as the media portrays him". I am sure TH-cam doesn't hate pewds, but they avoid him because media has an issue with him and showcasing this on trending fights against the medias bias against pewds.

Coming back to this video in 2021 and also whenever crazy shit happens.... it’s weird. But it’s good to know I’m not crazy when I see something fun, or something that brings a community together, or just something new getting absolutely wrecked by politics, politicians, and media.
It makes me remember that it was all started just for fun. And some people just can’t help turning it into something horrible. The US presidency is seen as a joke now. Because people didn’t respect it. Just like what happened here. People didn’t respect it, and sometimes these things happen.
It’s important to move on from them, and learn from those mistakes.
Both the disrespect of people and the US president himself have turned the position into a joke.

The thing that is sad about it is how he has been pushed by left media and left-winged people in general for false claims that have been set in combination of an actual tragic event. Pewdiepie himself knew he didn't really do anything wrong, but the pressure and general disgust that has been pulled by both degenerates and overall despicable beings on the internet and even real life made him apologize for a joke and admitted to a mistake he didn't even cause. That is a sad age of modern internet and world orders and public opinions from the left, no one should have so much power to do such improper and just bad things to someoe who has no chance to change his audience himself all alone and without pushing an agenda that could have given him hate as well.
