I have the XREAL Air 2 Pro / Beam Pro, however the images in Scaniverse display in much higher resolution and and in a much larger Field of View in my Quest 3. All of the many AR glasses that use the birdbath prism displays with the FOV limited to less than 50 degrees and a 1080 resolution are completely inadequate compared to the Quest 3 FOV of 110 degrees and 4k resolution. That being said, although you can see 3D scans from all over the world on Niantic's immersive website on the Quest 3, I find 90% of the scans to be very disappointing due to gaps/artifacts, so I hope they will continue to improve the scan processing. Meanwhile, we have the example of the Quest 3 "Hyperscape" demo, where artist's studios have been scanned in incredible detail, where you can walk around the entire space and it has no gaps/artifacts like Scaniverse. Meta has not specified when their app will be available, but we also have the new Varjo Teleport app by the Varjo VR headset people that apparently works better than Scaniverse but requires a much longer processing time.
hi! really interesting video! thanks for that, liked and subscribed. Does this work with an iphone 14 pro max? I have the lightning to USB C connector to use with my xreal air 2 pro Update: downloaded the i3DGS3D and it says in the help section that it wouldn't work with lightning devices due to limited resolution provided through lightning vs. usb c devices. also the pre-loaded picture doesn't show, I only see a black screen.
If you unplug from the connected device and reopen the app you should see the preloaded scan on your phone screen. And should also be able to open and view your own ply format scan exports from Scaniverse in SBS format. You could try a screen recording and then view on the glasses. May not be as cool as having real time control, but it’s still pretty cool
So, only for iOS? Then I don't need to look for it... a shame... Ok... Scaniverse is also available for Android as well, but my Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra is too slow for it... time for an update? Hahaha... maybe I need to look into the Apple camp.. several applications for 3D are not available for my Samsung phone.

The two iOS apps introduced in this video: Scaniverse and i3DGS3D
SpatialGlass available for pre-order now at spatial-glass.com
This is interesting. Will try it.
Just tried it out and this is crazy insane 😱✌️✌️✌️👏👏👏
These sound great. Gaussian Splat is the latest 3D rendering technique, allowing for a great spatial viewing experience. I will be checking these out.

In Spain they are very expensive, 500 euros plus 300 for the cell phone, it goes up to 800, a very expensive product...they are not sold.
Can Unuty3d or unreal engine exits be displayed in 3d?
Bravo!!
R.i.p. Android.

@@SjaakSchulteis I’ll let the developer of i3DGS3D know people are asking for an Android version. He is a very active 3D app developer
@@josh_3D Thanks!
Me too. Also the beam Pro is Android @@josh_3D
@@josh_3D seriously man Android is definitely needed, don't handicap yourself
@@josh_3D thx, Samsung S23 is fast enough to handle it
