I see them at dollar stores. They were way more common when I was a kid. Seeing them now I forget how big they are. I think they became less common because they don't usually fit in the door shelf of most fridges and a lot of people put their bottled sodas there
The fact Coca-Cola has that exclusive right to the coca leaves really says a lot about the power of their lobby. Also, while aspartame may not be cancerous, artificial sweeteners have been linked to a host of other health problems including, as counterintuitive as it sounds, diabetes and weight gain
I'm so confused, we have 3 liters in America, they're in the store. I've seen Coke 3 liters, my moms an alcoholic from hell and buys the 3 liters at Wal-Mart to mix with her Canadian Mist Whiskey.
I’ve only seen the Coke 35-pack and purchased at Costco. It’s a staple in fact, you can only buy Coke products in 35-packs as seen in the picture of the video.
I'm in Arizona and Mexican Coke is my favorite and getting harder to find. So, I'm walking around the store asking employees if they have any 'Mexican coke'. It usually takes them a few seconds to process that asking for the drink. I've never had them say 'Sure!' and whip out a bag 🤣.
Mexican coke is the best! Love it with the cane sugar--good balance between carbonation and sugar. I'll pay extra for the Mexican coke. Next favorite coke is McDonald's because they have a perfect balance between carbonation and sweet. A good coke has to have a good bite.
@@bcbritt777 I live in Fort Worth, Texas, so I can get them at Central Market. We have some. restaurants that sell them. A lot of stores where I work have them, but I live and work in an area with a large Mexican population. Central Market in other states may carry them. They are in a tall, class bottle. They use pure cane sugar instead of corn syrup, and the are the perfect mixture of sugar and carbonation.
@@phineaspepper3530 wow I think coca cola released a cane sugar soda in a green bottle instead of red. If it tastes anything like that then yes they are good 😍
Me too. Pepsi definitely keeps its carbonation longer and tastes more “crisp” and refreshing. I can definitely tell the difference between coke and Pepsi.
I'm shocked you guys don't see many Starbucks around there. I have 4 Starbucks within a 10 minute drive in every direction and two more Starbucks cafe's located with a book store and Target, and I'm not even in the middle of a city but in the suburbs.
In the late 80's or early 90's there were 3L bottles in the US, but no one like stocking them and they did not sell well enough so they were discontinued.
I feel like coke is only good for about 12 hours after opening it. Loses too much carbonation. Dont see how a 3L would get consumed, even if you're a family of 4 that's quite alot.
Yeah these made a brief appearance in a fast food place here in Ireland. I thought they were pretty good but didn't get them often. They didn't stay selling too long so must not have been a big seller
Do you guys get British words on the coke bottles like the ones with the names? We get lots of bottles with Australian words and nicknames here in Australia. We get ones like "Old Mate", "Dazza", "Bogan", "Bestie", "Mate" etc.
It’s funny they’re talking about cutting down caffeine so they’re going to cut down in coke and drink more tea…. Do they know tea also has caffeine as well lol?
Be careful of those Innocent smoothies Daz. The name itself is a marketing ploy. They're absolutely loaded with sugar and you shouldn't be drinking an entire bottle. There's a company called "Naked" in America that makes the same kind of smoothies....Coca Cola owns Innocent, guess who owns Naked? Pepsi Co.
The way that the 3 of you built chemistry and insight over the years is so awesome to watch. Definitely want to make a trip to the UK soon and you all are great ambassadors! Cheers from Atlanta, Georgia (Coke's hometown).
I'm in Japan and Costa in pet bottles is available in convenience stores here. Slightly sweet for me but the coffee flavor is nice. Better to me than most of the domestic brands.
I used to drink a ton of Pepsi. But I went cold turkey 8 years ago. I don't drink any coffee or tea also. So I don't have caffeine anymore. Sometimes I miss it but I am a lot healthier now than I was then.
One of my cousins has a 10 year old, he's a spazz without sugar or caffeine. He's absolutely prohibited to have caffeine (Mormon) and even a grain of sugar causes him to bounce off the walls. He might have cardiac arrest if he drank any energy drink. I'm from the US and had no idea Coke made coffee drinks. 🤯
It’s crazy the amount of sugar In soda and I used to drink them exclusively. Now I eat clean and it would take me 4-5 days to reach the amount of sugar in a single coke.
I'm an America who doesn't coffee nor tea, but I love regular Coke. I used drink a lot of coke, but I no longer do so. Many years ago I moved to Mexico for a couple of years. While living there, my coca cola consumption doubled. I couldn't figure out way until I found out the Coke bottled in Mexico used cane sugar. I love Mexican coke, but it is double the price for a smaller bottle here in Florida. If I lived on the Mexican border, I would cross the border once a month and stock up with many bottles of Mexican coke.
I can't remember if it is 35 or 36 pack it's available at sam's club and here in Austin Texas we have the 3L bottle of all coke products at Walmart and HEB
In the Walmart here in Texas we have 3 liters of coke dr.pepper, sprite etc. I buy them all the time. But I guess where the guy in your video shops doesn't have them.
me being a fat bastard, I knew about most of these products. I didn't know about the coffee ones though. The energy one tastes like the cola bottle sweets to me, the signatures are really good especially the smoky and woody ones (great with vodka), and mexican coke is great with ice.
I as rarely as I can drink Coke. But I remember in the 80's when they started switching from real sugar to HFCS. I also remember exchangeable glass bottles you took back to the drive thru. Awhile back Pepsi started doing Real Sugar releases and Pepsi is far superior I think with real sugar, and tastes more like I remember as a kid. Mountain Dew Real Sugar oddly tastes worse.
I don't know why we don't use sugar, we did when I was young. I don't buy sugar by tons but it is actually pretty cheap. Most our sugar comes from sugar beats and not from sugar cane, which means you can grow it anywhere. We do grow alot of corn though.
On the rare occasion I have a coke I'll order a slice of lime with it. We had lime Coke for a few years. I liked it a lot, but I guess nobody else did.
Definitely had 3L bottles before, I remember in the 90's my family buying 3L bottle of Dr. Pepper every once in a while. This was for northern Illinois, but I don't know about now though.
I'm shocked to hear sugar and honey have more fructose than high fructose corn syrup! (see 8:57) In the US it has been miscommunicated that HFCS is the worst! Products put on the packaging "no high fructose corn syrup" as a selling gimmick!
I like how people still keep saying daily recommended value when it comes to caffeine. You don't need caffeine. At all! I've been without caffeine because of heart issues for 4 years straight and I feel just fine. Caffeine is unnecessary but sugar is the real evil. If you can cut both as low as possible you'll be much better off. Easier said than done, but worth it in the long run
Turns out Cholula (and Tobasco and I'm sure others) have zero calories, so go nuts. They are probably allowed to round down to zero, but it's still practically nothing.

We did used to have 3-liter bottles in the US, yep. Still see them in some off brand sodas.
U can get named brands like coke 3 liters in texas. Idk about other states
I see them at dollar stores. They were way more common when I was a kid. Seeing them now I forget how big they are. I think they became less common because they don't usually fit in the door shelf of most fridges and a lot of people put their bottled sodas there
3 liter Coke products were ubiquitous in the 80’s
I see them often in Florida but I never saw them before moving here tbh
The 35 pack is available at Costco. Might be specifically for them and other wholesalers.
BJ's too I've seen.
Yeah he definitely should have tried Costco or Sam's Club for that. I used to work there and saw them every day
Wally world,sells 35can walmart

Same except I've seem the coke zero ones at Walmart but thats it

I've always preferred Pepsi. It's fizzier, and has a more crisp flavor. Prefer the blue can over red too.
Pepsi supposedly has a lot of vanilla, where coke uses a lot more citrus in their recipe.
Pepsi is so freaking sweet. I just can’t do it.
@@hanaj Coke is way sweeter than Pepsi. Pepsi to me is more acidic
Me too. Pepsi definitely keeps its carbonation longer and tastes more “crisp” and refreshing. I can definitely tell the difference between coke and Pepsi.

That is a very sweet sentiment by your mom Dave. We are very appreciative for her gesture. 💙💙
I love these..they are top tier react content.
Facts
I don’t know if this is only in Texas, but there is a 3 Litre bottle of Coca-Cola.
We have drive thru pharmacies, banks, Starbucks, and stop and go shops. We Americans love our drive thrus.
The look on Daz face when that guy burped was a winner. I lost it THE LOOK OF DISGUST LOL.
I remember when I was a kid 3 liter bottles were everywhere, I don't remember exactly if Coke had them or not though.

Love when you guys do food wars

They were great for gravity bongs, though.
I feel like coke is only good for about 12 hours after opening it. Loses too much carbonation. Dont see how a 3L would get consumed, even if you're a family of 4 that's quite alot.
With the milk and coke, we used to have cola floats (coke with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.) it was good!
Yeah these made a brief appearance in a fast food place here in Ireland. I thought they were pretty good but didn't get them often. They didn't stay selling too long so must not have been a big seller
Lmfao I'm a sk8er and was gunna comment how Monster is pretty big in America... Just pretty sure RedBull is bigger internationally
Red bull is frequently used as a mixer
I buy big packs of the mini cans..I was really bad about leaving half drunk regular size cans all around the house. The mini ones are perfect!
Coke + Coffee is actually surprising really good.
I went into it VERY WARY, and I agree...I really liked it and was surprised with how the flavors melded.
There's also a cane sugar Coca-Cola option in the US as well.

Costa coffee is British and Coca-Cola acquired it a few years ago. It’s in many countries around the world.

Nothing like a 3 liter gravity bong. Things I learned in college. Shout out Faygo Moonmist..
I used to mix coke and milk as a kid. I thought I was a lone weirdo, but the internet age has taught me that there’s plenty of freaks like me
I used to drink a ton of Pepsi. But I went cold turkey 8 years ago. I don't drink any coffee or tea also. So I don't have caffeine anymore. Sometimes I miss it but I am a lot healthier now than I was then.
Just to point out, here in the midwest we also have the 1.25 litres as well

southern comfort is not a Tennessee whiskey..
Southern Comfort is a spiced liquor derived from whiskey and not even remotely a TN whiskey. It probably tasted fine though.
I think Southern Comfort is from New Orleans, Louisiana.
So is there no Jack Daniels in the U.K.?
Jack Daniels is Tennessee Whiskey. By far the most popular brand.
We have 3 liters in the US. Mainly off brands now, but we have them.
In California, we used to have the 1.5 liter bottles, but they canceled it.
Southern comfort is a whisky liquor not a proper whisky.
