If you want to buy Bitcoin, great! If you don't - that's also fine. Bottom line - I don't have an interest if people buy Bitcoin, Ethereum, Doge, stocks, or anything else. I don't make videos to encourage people to buy anything, and I can't move multi billion / trillion dollar markets because math.

It's not impossible, if over 50 percent of the holders/miners agree, they can make changes to bitcoin, but its very unlikely that over 50 percent would agree to do anything that would reduce the value of their own currency / investment.
Actually it is worse than that because supply being lost while in the future no new supply will be created. So wrap you head around the kind of world we will have if Bitcoin becomes the global reserve currency replacing the dollar as the standard by which national fiats are based on. First of all it can not become a widely used currency because the 2017 softfork and those transaction scaling mechanisms are going to be destroyed in a fireball known as the ANYONE CAN SPEND attack (perhaps in 2026). Btw, most people will lose all their BTC in that attack because they did not read and comprehend what was presented to them. Secondly as the legacy protocol Bitcoin (not BSV nor BCH, but the protocol that coexists now on the main chain with the impostor softfork) rises as the 1988 Economist Magazine Phoenix, the world will be thrust into forever massive deflation with socialism enslaved by Bitcoin. It is not going to be a pleasant existence for most of the billions on this planet. Perhaps the banning of usury which lengthened the W. European Dark Age to 600 years might be analogous.

Miners can only de ide which chain / hard fork they support. This does not mean they decide anything.
To increase the 21 mil cap developers need to increase and create a hard fork, miners need to switch to that fork AND users need to use that fork rather than the existing chain. Never gonna happen.
It will become infinitely more rare than gold in the future, but I think rarity is only ONE of many things that contributes to it's price (but it's not the most important thing)

can you just share your theory on how high bitcoin price can go? i watched the vid for that and was disappointed to not hear your thoughts on the price
current bull run, i would probably say between 150-200k...will top out most likely sometime in 2025
Noone will tell you anything, cause noone knows anything. All people can do is speculate taking a previous price action and multiplying it by the 2-3x from 2021 ATH. That's as deep of an analysis you gonna get.
Unfortunately all predictions are wrong, and the ones that are right, are only right because statistically someone will have to be right. I just don't care to give my opinion on the price because it can be misperceived as encouraging to buy into it (and I personally do not care if people buy it or not)

I love your videos but you seem to miss the fact that, unlike fiat, btc does have intrinsic value. It is an immutable ledger which can't be manipulated. That is pure value. Also, the fact that it can't be used for other things like gold/jewelery is a good thing. It is pure money.

A: nobody has ever claimed that Fiat money had intrinsic value... that was pretty much the whole point
B: I like BTC, but it doesn't have intrinsic value. Intrinsic value requires objective value (usually from a use case) that isn't reliant on a public perception of value. For example, even if nobody thought gold or gasoline was valuable, and nobody would buy any of it, I could still make useful things out of gold, and fuel my car. Even with no market value, they still have value because of what they are.
The value of BTC, even with its immutable ledger (which is valuable, btw, just not intrinsically), would be worthless if nobody would buy it or accept it as a payment for something. That's why there are plenty of shitcoins that technically do the exact same thing as BTC, but aren't worth anything... nobody believes they have value, so they don't.
@@mediocrityatbest412 Do you think Einstein's theories of relativity have intrinsic value? I think great intellectual and scientific discoveries that uplift the state of humankind DO have intrinsic value in that they allow mankind to move up to a higher state of functioning. So too with Bitcoin. It is young, but so far at least - is the pure energy of value captured in code, available to all and unassailable by any. Perhaps it's too early to claim that with such a short history, but my suspicion is we will look back in 50 years and see it as exactly that.

In the interview he was going to point out that "all money is abstract", which is true, a dollar has no intrinsic value and is worthless. We still use it in transactions anyways.

Theoretically "infinitely" more rare since we can grow diamonds, but we can't create gold
