Great video, but I wanted to share something VERY important. Feel free to pin this post if you agree. The reason the fuel line with the black fittings wouldn't come off is because the line was under pressure. That is a Norma NORMAQUICK S 90 connector. They are designed to NOT release when there is pressure in the line. So you need to pull the fuse for the fuel pump, run the car until it dies to release the pressure. Then that connector will come off as easily as the blue one. The reason I think it's very important is if you break that connector, it could mean replacing the entire pipe to the fuel filter which means you may have to drop the tank a bit to get in there, which on an AWD car is a pain and might even involve dropping the rear subframe. All for a cheap plastic fitting.
What fuel pump did u use? My Audi needs a new one but I don’t know which fuel pump would work the best because I want to make sure the new one is literally identical with the oem

@@AutosportMore you can just unplug fuel pump module
Great tutorial. For anyone wanting to do this, save yourself a mess. Do this with a nearly empty tank
I liked that this video shows that other people are just as much of a mess when working on their cars as I am, lol! Thanks bro
That open port is for the gas heater. It was an optional add-on feature with some of the european models.
You mean northern countries. And it's an auxiliary heater/webasto
never had a vehicle with so much go wrong all the time as an audi
Hi, there's also a cap on the driver side. What's there? Thanks

Do you have to do an adaptation for a low pressure fuel pump install?
Should the pump have continuity between the leads and the pump housing ?
Hello, I have code p0089 and I’m having lean conditions in my 2006 Audi a4. Do you thing the fuel pump could be the reason?
Should I disconnect the negative battery terminal before I start ?
definitely! the pump gets activated, if you accidentally open the driver side door.
What would happen if you were to leave the one open port opened vs sealing it?
