Had a similar issue with Bendpak. I own a 50K sq. foot body shop in NJ and it is equipped with over 15 mid rise Bendpak lifts. Almost every cylinder on each of those lifts had to be rebuilt after calling Bendpak they were very nasty and unhelpful. Long story short we absorbed all the fees to rebuild each cylinder Bendpak wanted nothing to do with it. Currently trying new manufacturers
Did just new seals, wear bushings and orings fix them?? Are they otherwise a tight cylinder?? Did you use the China seal kits, or did you measure them and source them from other manufacturers??
Wildfire Lifts has taken care of me long after my warranty expired. Bendpak told me I didn’t have enough subscribers to get any kind of sponsorship. Today I’m thankful they didn’t work with me. Hope you get this resolved.

The very concerning thing about all of this, Bendpak are aware of problems with leaking cylinders and were quite happy to let people to continue to work underneath these lifts. Bendpak, this isn’t good enough. In the comments there appears to be quite a few other people with this issue and a recall should have been issued.
I retired from a service industry after 40 years. At one point our manufacturing division notified me they could no longer supply parts to repair our customer units due to a parts shortage and they needed to focus on new units. I pointed out company policy that customer down units take precedent over new sales and I got the parts I needed. That company is number one worldwide, and that policy reflects that.
That’s a great policy for sure! In our towing industry, we are the same way. We actually even implemented rental tow trucks just to keep people going. It’s their livelihood when it’s down they have no other option. New sales will come you have to take care of the ones that have already spent the money.
The honesty of the video is the best part. If you have to call out a place a you don’t want to make it hard to move forward with buying new equipment from the company. But if they step up like they said you should be golden
I have a BendPak HD-9XW that is a year and a half old and the cylinder leaks. I will call Friday and see if they help out a little guy with out 300,000 subscribers.
If they have a known issue with cylinders and they’re not reaching out to customers to tell them, hey your lift could be bad. It could hurt somebody that sure speaks to integrity.

The bummer is they will still screw the little guy. The guy who doesn’t have the TH-cam channel, they are only fixing your lifts because of the TH-cam video otherwise you would get screwed just like the rest of us. For that reason I’m out.
Great news 👏 , but I do believe if I was bendpak and understood what you were doing as a dealer my first intuition would be to SEND a couple of reps to help you move forward with this problem and discuss your future plans. Because your social media network is all about inventory and those lifts are seen a WHOLE LOT.
We’ve had so many people ask why the vehicles don’t move on there and just had to answer them and it’s embarrassing that we can’t even maneuver them around reliably
If you plan to keep those lifts you need to put steel on top of those columns between them so that it will be stronger than simply the way it is now, having them connected will be much more stable across the lifts I am surprised that bendpack did not design that into the lifts good luck with that equipment!!!!!!!!!!
We actually had a template made to do just that and we stopped because we did not realize whether or not we would be taking them down or leaving them up.
Safes are unique: Must have documentation that you are original owner and get a notary etc. -Most of the parts are available online. -People steal safes and try to open them.
Well the problem us viewers have is that we can count on a nightmare if things go wrong with them. Mist if us dont have social media we can use to get resolve. Its great if they fix theie mistakes but it should have already been done. What I know is it starts with the leadership and works its way down. Whoever runs that joint is 100% responsible and then dumping it off down the line. Yeah I would say they have problems. The big man needs to look at himself. Its that easy. Make those changes you dont want to make.

I have their "heavy duty-est" (is that a word?) QuickJack in my personal garage as I can't move around and fool with jacks and stands, up and downs. I have had no trouble, but now, I worry about what I will experience if I need help.
Had some hydraulic cylinders UPGRADED by a reliable hydraulics rebuilder with one of my lifts. Down time costs money. A 3 month turn around for a WARRANTY replacement would NOT work for me. The $500 spent to have an outside company inprove my situation was money in the bank. One just has to plan accordingly when buying systems made overseas. Part of the buying process is betting against its lifetime warranty. 😂😂😂

I don’t need a 3 car lift but I do have budget for a single 9k lift. After watching this saga I will be switching my plans to a Wildfire lift for sure. No way on Bendpak!
I own a shop in Wisconsin and installed a 14,000 lb drive on hoist bendpak and have the cylinder leaking right now. They are shipping me a cylinder and is supposed to arrive on Monday. They have been very good to work with and have set up getting an authorized installer to put it in for me. So bendpak has been good to me and are trying to make it right in a very timely manner.
There’s one glaring difference between the way they treated you and the way you dealt with your customers, “communication” a raging upset person will usually settle down as long as you talk to them. It’s been months this has been going on and sad to say she still tried to pass the buck or some of it onto Advance Auto Parts. You not only talked to your customers but you dealt with the issues as quick as possible. I was about to send you 16 fluorescent NOT stickers to put above Bendpak to rub it in their faces 😂, at least hopefully you guys can start using the lifts safely and you can move on from this…Good luck 👍🏽.

I have numerous Advantage Lifts, the wide body, 11K four post and a couple 10k two post and I'm extremely happy with their operation. They also have the triple stacker and the wide body if your interested? I will be looking for the next update to see if everything gets taken care of, good luck bud!

IMHO, The delay is the parts coming from some place other than the US. Overseas, in all likely hood. Unfortunately we as consumers in a lot of cases chase price and the US cannot compete w/cheap labour overseas sorry to say. Plus like you say, they are likely the only game in town on that style of lift. This is the downside from buying one of these non US made lifts. Good Luck.

Let them know that if this happens a gain you will rat them out again and it will be even worse if they they do not take immediate action.
If Bendpak are prioritising getting you the cylinders that you need in under 2 weeks, where previously they took 5 months to get them to you, then they have taken them from a work order intended for another customer. So they are helping you, at the expense of someone else. That Bendpak would break a promise to another customer just shows what a bad business Bendpak is. They obviously don't care about their customers.
I bought a 4 post many years ago when the China junk 1st starting coming in, I looked at the shipping weight. How can 2 lifts rated at the same capacity be 300-500 lbs lighter. I looked at Benpack and did not like the looks of it. It’s a low price unit
Wildfire Lifts that Derek from Vice Grip Garage uses appear to be a better design ( they don't have open channels but fully boxed in with cut outs. If you have to use your 309,000 subscriber clout to get attention in the Bendpak office above the _mountain_ of the complaints that are pilling up there, you know Bendpak is very badly run.
I have the scissor lift. It had a pin in one of the rollers for the heavy duty wheels that was too big and seizing up. Also the safety latch was poorly cut which nearly caused my car to drop off suddenly on tue lift. I had to personally work on the latch and the mechanism to get to work properly. Their QC is horrible! I did get a new set of pins and they are aware that I had to fix the latch. It was well documented in emails. It was really disappointing because of how good the company used to be. This is why I invested in one. 🤷♂️ I would never recommend BenPak to anyone.
I would definitely get some stencils and have your installer make it say bendover… I have a huge garage and I’ll tell you what I buy something from Temu before I bought that garbage.. he say six months left the vehicle on the lift? 😂 no thx
The only reason that Bendpak got in contact with you directly is because of your 309k subscriber reach. This alone is unacceptable from that organization. What about someone with zero subs. I would suggest to everyone watching this video. Do your due diligence with regards to warranty and support in your country. I'll never buy Bendpak after watching these videos.

I would definitely get some stencils and have your installer make it say bendover… I have a huge garage and I’ll tell you what I buy something from Temu before I bought that garbage.. he say six months left the vehicle on the lift? 😂 no thx
The only reason that Bendpak got in contact with you directly is because of your 309k subscriber reach. This alone is unacceptable from that organization. What about someone with zero subs. I would suggest to everyone watching this video. Do your due diligence with regards to warranty and support in your country. I'll never buy Bendpak after watching these videos.
I too will not use bendpack because of the poor customer service.

They more than deserved the BAD publicity..! they couldn’t possibly have handled your situation more poorly….we’ll all remember when lift shopping at Baarrett-Jackson next week
