I strongly recommend using foam board. For a while I also used standard styrofoam but it’s tricky to work with as the white always seems to show, it can melt easily, and the circular texture is hard to cover up. The foam board is pretty cheap and can be found at Lowes or Home Depot. Great looking diorama!!
