Canadian immigration has changed and works more like Australia. It favors prioritized occupations and French language proficiency. If you work in a prioritized occupation, you will enjoy lower CRS cutoff scores for easier PR. If you are not working in a prioritized occupation, then you will need high CRS score for ITA (invitation to apply) of PR. Alternatively, find a province for easier PNP (Provincial Nominee Program). Ontario PNP (OINP) is hard. Avoid both Ontario and Quebec. Start by reviewing the 82 prioritized occupations announced by IRCC in 2023.

Try other provinces. More than 50% of international students are in Ontario, fighting for housing and jobs. Ontario PNP is difficult.

Look at the 35 prioritized occupations announced by IRCC in 2023. You work in one of these occupations, you get lower CRS cutoff and easier PR path.
Please start giving Tips to make strong college applications so that we get accepted and we can come to Canada
You need to be PR focus, not student visa focus. Canadian immigration has changed. You need to study in the right field and work in the right occupation to receive decent CRS cutoff scores. Otherwise, find a province for easier PNP. Ontario PNP (OINP) is difficult. Quebec requires French; it is going to be mandatory for economic migrants. IRCC announced 82 prioritized occupations for easier PR. Start by reviewing them.

@@pranavgandhi7714 If you review the 82 prioritized occupations, they are mostly in tech and health. I would study CS, IT, data scientist, web developer, or nursing. According to NOC codes, most of these jobs are TEER 1, requiring Bachelor degrees. I think CS, IT, data scientist, and web developer can get by with a college diploma. Nursing is good everywhere except Quebec where French is required. I would avoid Ontario and Quebec. Same advice if you are not in the 82 prioritized occupations.

Why is everyone so crazy about moving to Canada to get the PR when the amount of jobs are less, pay is less, taxes are high and any appointment for healthcare takes tons of time? I can understand those folks who are coming in for trucking as life in India for that is tough and doesn’t give much money. But, I seriously don’t understand the IT folks who’re crazy about being in Canada - working on survival jobs and getting lower positions than what they actually deserve.
If you’re someone who’s passionate about IT - then US is the country to be in for money, savings; quality of life.
They didn't know that Canadian Express Entry has changed. IRCC is conducting category-based draws based on occupation and French language proficiency. As for the rest, they face higher CRS cutoff scores.

If you are going to study MBA in Canada, you should study in a top university to impress employers. UCW is a relatively new university and not many employers heard of it. As a foreigner, it is more difficult to compete for managaement jobs with the locals. If you do find a manager job (TEER 0) somehow, then it is good. It will boost your CRS score. If you are considering PNP, avoid Ontario. Avoid Quebec due to its French language requirement imposed on businesses.

College of the North Altantic (Newfoundland and Labrador) has 5 semesters done in 2 years; average cost is $16k per year.
