This was my first time to your channel. I'm 67 and have always worn makeup, primarily because I have fair skin and blue eyes. Without makeup, people would ask if I was sick, sad or tired. Not good for self-esteem. I like the way you wore your makup lightly and will try your tips to soften my everyday/work look. Thanks for sharing your suggestions.😊
Thank you so much for commenting. That question is so irritating - it is like someone yelling that you look bad. SMH! I love blue eyes....mine are green and I always wanted blue. Hugs, KC
Love the suggestions today!😊 I have struggled with eye shadow placement for a while. Started wearing makeup when I was 60 years old.(now 68). Keep the great tips coming!
I totally agree with your pet peeve of influencers who are constantly having to move hair out of the way for makeup application. Not sure why they don’t just band it back. Also the influencers who are constantly looking at themselves in the camera and can’t keep their hands off their hair!!! Enjoyed the video. I think an even bigger crime than some of these mistakes is older women I see without a stitch of makeup, as if saying, “I’ve given up”. I wear makeup every day; camping, gardening, staying home. It’s not about impressing anyone, it’s about feeling good about myself. I have fun testing new makeups.
Amen, Amen, Amen! Giving up is not in the cards!!! I am going down with a fight in me and making myself feel better each and everyday. Now there are days when I give my skin a break from makeup (since I put it on and take it off several times a day) but that is different than just throwing in the towel. Hugs, KC
Very helpful. I’m 65 and went years make up free. But after experiencing significant hair loss and wearing wigs, an old, tired face didn’t go with new, pretty hair. So I’ve started wearing makeup again and am a big believer in ‘less is more’. This has been very helpful. My goal is to look healthy, not painted for my everyday appearance. 😊
I nursed for all my young years, too busy working shifts and then cleaning house and caring for kids.... then I had a more office type job in the last years of working, but I wore minimal make-up (mascara and a light lipstick)... but I've retired and finally have time to enjoy a bit of time on myself (sadly, it's harder now the skin is not the fresh unlined springy skin it was back then) so it's good to get some tips
I have dismissed some channels to follow for the same reason you stated, their hair. I can't stand it either. It's one thing to be proud of your lockes. But get it out of the way when you do makeup for us. Thank you!!! 🫶
Drives me crazy as well...I can't imagine putting my makeup on with my hair down in my face and it's so distracting to watch someone demonstrating makeup techniques that way completely distracts me from what they're trying to show.
Yes, you can really see the difference. I think the 2 biggest things, 1, not using Black Eye Liner, it does make the eyes look small and old...2, the blush high on the cheeks, bringing the colour up and keeping the face fresh makes such a difference..... i also found that colouring in the brows makes such a difference to frame and accent the eyes....really defines the face. A great learning tool... thanks for your post. 😊❤
That is so kind of you. I do love to "glitz" up every now and again but realized that day to day I need a bit less to keep things looking a tad bit younger. Hugs, KC
It is on my list of videos to do in the future. I did one that you may enjoy. th-cam.com/video/M66vJ3ksxj8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=OhynwjyLxlx3IyNG Thank you for watching and leaving a comment. It means so much. Hugs, KC
A beautiful, soft, age defying look. So flattering! I see so many middle aged women still creating the heavy look of the 80's/90's, especially for their eyes, and it ages them terribly. This is a really good comparison lesson. Great tip for the neutral liner with strong lip colour, I'll try that one!
Hey there - thank you so much. It means a lot to me that you commented. Yes, unfortunately they think it is still "in" and what they don't realize is how much it ages them. I'll be showing other things down the road......so keep tuning in. Hugs, KC
Wow, I love the softer side and how it looks more lifted. You're beautiful thanks for the pointers. At 55, I'm still learning how to do my brows. It's the one area I always avoided for some reason.
I realize this video is two months old and you may not see my comment, but I feel compelled to leave one regardless. I just discovered your channel a couple of days ago while searching for info about GLP1 medication but find your channel is so much more! I’ve enjoyed watching several of your older videos and am now a subscriber. I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to see an older woman doing makeup application on a face that looks realistic, more like my own with wrinkles and fine lines. I’m very tired of many YT make up artists over 60 who are full of Botox and fillers and multiple procedures, giving us unrealistic expectations, if only I follow their skin care and make up advice. 😮 Many are not even honest about it. I will continue to view your videos and look forward to new ones as you put new content out put new content out. Thank you Kalondia!
Hello there. Needless to say I try to answer all comments - I am glad you found my channel and I hope you continue to watch. I'm transparent....I do botox and filler but it is not a lot. I haven't had a touch up in probably 8 months. Hugs, KC
I'm so happy that I just found your channel! I agree 100% with your makeup application. I'm turning 76 in one month and love makeup and apply it everyday. I have found that less is more and how you apply it make such a big difference. I look forward to watching more of your videos!
Hi Susan and welcome. I love that you are loving your makeup at 76 - I plan to be the same way. My Mom is in her 80's and applies her makeup every single day.. I am glad you found the channel - we are growing here and it means so much that you are here. Hugs, KC
I enjoyed your demonstration. I was guilty today of using the wrong side and knew it immediately but it was too late. The more I blended, the brighter green my eye looked. Thanks for this tip.
YES!! thank you for mentioning that. It's my pet peeve, too. I'm so glad when content creators secure their hair, it makes their content so much better to watch.
I am an artist but not with makeup. You have shown me the use of bright highlights to draw the eye in a way to hide shadows and lines. Fantastic! Now I know why I never got good results. Thank you so much ❤
Haven't finished watching this video yet but just love you straight away because you're wearing your lines with pride. No fillers, no botox. You're beautiful! I'm 72 and am wearing less makeup than I used to. I don't like seeing those big black panda eyes on older women. Thank you for this. I'll give it a go even though i don't usually wear eyeshadow anymore. xx Love from Australia
Hi there! TBH, I do get a little botox a couple of times a year and i've had filler in the lines around my mouth (I was so tired of people accusing me of being a smoker). Like I said, I go very conservative and my Nurse Practitioner knows I do not want to look overdone. Just soften the mouth area a bit. However, I am 100% in agreement for those that do not want to go that route and respect them as well. I love that you commented. Hugs, KC
@@kalondiacasey Thats ok too. I''d probably give it a go too if I could afford it but the thought of spending my retirement funding on botox etc stops me - as well as the fact that it would be an ongoing commitment. I'll just have to keep kidding myself that I look fine and rejoice in the fact non-one believes me when i tell them my age. Having said that, I could always change my mind but in the meantime, I'll try some different looks with makeup etc. I probably can't buy any of the products in your links because I'm in Australia it usually costs a lot to buy from the US due to the dollar plus the postage unless they're on Amazon Prime I can sometimes get stuff at a good price and free international postage.
Haha I took some notes bc I’m a Business Analyst. I can’t wait to try the concealer cleanup around the edges of the lip! I wore a red lip earlier this week and now I realize why I wasn’t entirely happy with it. I’m 54, fyi. After undergoing chemo when I was 45, I was thrown into medical menopause overnight. I still have to adapt my routines to look my best. THANK YOU ❤
Bless you - that medical menopause is horrible. I hate this for you but you sound like you are getting a handle on it. I love a good red lipstick but it is hard to wear. Hugs, KC
I have started doing all these hints except the lashes and the concealer around my lips. My lip area is my most troublesome so I will be doing that! And if my lashes get any thinner I may try the clusters. I was pleased to see that I'm doing most things right on this 73 year old face.
My first time on your channel. I am 69 and wear almost no makeup. I have gone from “all the makeup” from the ‘80’s to a no-makeup look but like to do a little something for going out. This video was perfect! Thank you for the tutorial!
Susan, I love that and welcome. I also love a makeup/no makeup look on my "free days" when I am not in front of the camera. I am so glad you are here and loved your comment. Hugs, KC
Truly enjoyed this video, as i ALWAYS learn something new from you. The difference between both sides is remarkable I have the same pet peeve as you do with pulling the hair back. My next peeve is when they play the background music so loud that it's hard to focus on their words ... which is why I'm grateful you turn volumn down when you speak (I swear I have ADHD in my old age) ❤😊
Stacy, I hear you loud and clear (no pun intended). I don't know why it bothers me so much but the hair in the face is distracting. I love having that low music in the background and my editor really does a great job keeping it at the right level. hugs, kC
Nice job on both sides. I liked both equally well until the red lipstick went on. Then I preferred the "younger" and the "older" side definitely showed. However, I'd say that both were nice looks...one for more evening and one for more day. Glad for this video to show us the difference and to use a lighter hand during the day! Thank you!!!
Hey there! Yes, you are correct. That red lipstick is harsh. Here is what I always say, Bold Eye, Neutral Lip! Neutral Lip, Go Bold on the eyes....it's a great balance. Hugs, KC
I was thinking the same. Both sides were good until the red lipstick was applied. The darker eye is great for a more evening look but with a lighter lipstick. The lighter side is for any time of the day. Very attractive lady.
I liked the lift you did on the eyes by using less shadow, not blasting your brows.by making them darker, and aiming the tail downward. I think using little powder on your face, and also using a different color, and lighter color of eyeliner on your lower lash line. I Your blush placement loomed much bettef, and surprised me how much it gave you a face lift. I never thought about using a neutral lip liner with red, or using a little concealed around my lips! I !ike everything you did on the right side of your face, and yes it does look lifted.I'm 61, everyone says I look 50, and I'm going to try this lifted look, and maybe it will take a few more years off of me! 😊 I was definitely doing a few now I'd with shadiw, powder, and lip linef. Thank you for posting this video, it's going to help me a lot!
Hello there and thank you for commenting. I loved reading what you wrote. I am glad you are here and can't wait to continue to grow and get to know you. Hugs, KC
Thank you for your video. Yes a much more natural look on the left. I struggle with all the things you mentioned for the heavy side. I don’t wear make up everyday but I will try your tips for church. My son is getting married so I have bought the velour full wispy lashes. Normally I wouldn’t wear false eyelashes. I still haven’t tried wearing them yet.
Hi Lori, are you having your makeup done for the wedding? If so, you might want to do a practice run with the artist. If not, I would recommend doing your makeup 2-3x and photographing it to see what you love, might want to tweak etc.. Yes, False lashes are perfect for those events. I wish I could see pictures. Enjoy. Hugs, KC
I just turned 69. I actually don't look my age, but I've ever liked alot of makeup on my face. Many suggestions you have i already do. My issue is my eyebrows. They are very sparce from cancer treatment. I appreciate the tips on that. I don't use concealer, but i have a small dark blue area by my eyes and nose. I cant seem to find the right color. Im light with a pink undertone. I also like the concealer around the outer lip to clean it up! Great tutorial!
Wow! I do the heavy side and never realized I look like that. Unreal.. I just turn 70 yrs of age. Thank you soo much. Really Nancy at Tibby Island, ga.
Very much liked your tutorial. So much agree with the eye make up and blush. The dark shadow draws the eye down and I have been guilty. So thank you so much.
Wow wow wow!! Excellent video Kalondia!! Thank you!!! 😊 I am in my 50's, with fair skin blue eyes and a few lines starting to appear especially around my lip line. I've been wondering where I'm going wrong with my make up application, to the point I stopped using make up (except for special occasions). The thing for me is how you put on the foundation with a brush, I never thought of that, but it makes so much difference🤯!! I have most of the make up that you are using in the video, but I've been putting it on wrong, so it sits in my lines. I thought it was the product as I used to use a very different type of foundation (it wasn't a liquid, kind of like a soft lipstick consistency) and I knew that it no longer worked on my skin especially around my eyes. I have good lashes and I'm blonde so I use a brown mascara without lining my eyes, another mistake! I also was lining my lips with the same colour as my lipstick (Asia by Rimmel) I have a nude lip liner / concealer, so will try it. I also don't line my brows very often as they are very light brown and quite well defined, but I do have a brow pencil/ brush in the right colour, I will start using it now! Thank you so much!!🤗 Caroline
Hi Carolina, Wow....what a comment and I love it. It makes me so happy that you enjoyed and learned a lot from the video. Yes, those pesky lines around our lips - I have filler in mine and will probably have to redo them in 6 months. I just hate being asked if was a smoker - nope! I am addicted to straws and it is also hereditary. More videos to come and I hope to hear from you soon. Hugs, KC
I enjoyed your video! I already put into my daily makeup, a lot of the things you mentioned, I am turning 75 in a few days. The biggest problem for me is that I overplucked my eyebrows back in the day and now I am very sparse there. My eyebrows are dark and it's hard to camouflage that look! I agree, less IS more! I just found your channel. Thank You!
Thank you so much for the comment - it means so much to me. Hugs, KC PS - those over plucked eye brows are so hard to work with. have you tried a stencil?
Super video! Luv your techniques! And you are so right! Have a close friend who has that blackish ( permanent) under eye liner. I can’t agree that it ages you more! Lipstick not crazy about. But it’s a tutorial ! Thanks! 👏🏻👏🏻
Susan, yes trying to prove a point (it wasn't my fav either). That black eyeliner comes back to haunt us that is for sure. Thanks for commenting - it means so much to me. Hugs, KC
I like the sugestion of placing the top eyelinr in the top waterline, and not above the lashes. I will try this, although for a more evening going out look, I'd probably line above the lashes and do the upper waterline.
Wonderful and such a helpful video. I am a bit older than you and always looking in the mirror when I do my makeup and wondering if what I am doing is just too much. I needed the help with the brows, as I feel mine turn down on the outside edge and I can clearly see where it draws my face down. Great tips! Thank you.
Hi Sandra, thank you so much for commenting. Yes, the mirror is so helpful and what is even more helpful is the mirror in our cars - now that mirror always tells us the truth. Lol! I'm sure you do an amazing job and I really appreciate you commenting. It means so much. Hugs, KC
I'm a few decades younger, but I have always learned true wisdom from those older that I. Your video was recommended by TH-cam and I clicked it. All though I can wear heavy makeup, your skin and hair color are close to mine. I'm a "toe head" (a person with very light blond hair, often so light that it's almost white) and I had to know what you were using on your brows! So obviously I loved the brow products and lining the lips after lip liner and lipstick. I found your entire video interesting, the only time I wear heavy makeup is for photos. I'm glad I clicked on your video! Much love!🕊
Thank you for commenting and I am glad you found my channel. It means so much to me when someone takes the time to leave a comment....espeically one as sweet as yours. Thank you for being there. KC
I had to chuckle when you mentioned your pet peeve. I agree 100%. I enjoyed your tips, thank you! I was wondering if you could briefly cover your method of brush cleaning when you review your favorite brushes, please?
Thank you - I will have to do that in another video but I really like to use Tea Tree Soap from a company called FARMASi but a lot of people use Dawn Dishwashing Liquid. Thank you for commenting. Hugs, KC
Hi Chrissy, thank you for commenting. It sounds like you go to a great technician that doesn't put them on thick like we see on younger gals. Wispy sounds amazing! I'm so glad you are here. Hugs, KC
I enjoyed your video on how to apply younger looking makeup......your eyes, looking at you is your key feature because of your unique I color.....here is my suggestion.....yes, do the darker foundation as well as the soft eye brows and shadow but use the strip lash only on the outer portion of the lid, starting from the middle of the Iris cutting them accordingly....your eyes will look bigger , no under eye liner....blush on the upper cheekbone but please ditch the red lipstick for more of a bright coral color.......I have the same yellow undertone with grey hair and get tons of compliments without looking like a cartoon!....thank you....(only a suggestion from a senior living in California)
Hello KC I appreciate the video and you are right about lighter foundation looking awful on our mature skin the warmer side is beautiful. I learned that less is truly more beautiful and sleek ❤I just bought the new Bobbi Brown foundation yesterday and it's beautiful it was pleasantly surprising some of Bobbi’s products I don't care for on me xo❤
Hey there (can you tell me your first name)! I am so glad you watched the video and commented about a new foundation that you like. I have never tried her foundation - I have never heard anyone recommend it, so now it is on my radar!!! Thank you for being here and your support. Hugs, KC
I love a good neutral lip and have so many favorites. Lip Liner Where Ever Walnut from Make Up Forever & Makeup By Mario Midtown Lipstick. Such a beautiful combo!!!! Hugs! KC
Wow, what a stroke of luck I came across your channel. A truly great video. I am 63 too and have been enjoying trying a more natural look, like your 'good' side of makeup. It was so good to have your affirmation that I am doing most things correctly! Your good side looks just beautiful. I am wondering if i may get the confidence to try the cluster lashes. Thanks so much, I have thoroughly enjoyed this video and have subscribed - from NZ
Hello Annie, thank you for your sweet comment. Letting you in on a little secret - tomorrow's video shows how I apply the cluster lashes. :) So glad you are here and loved the video. Can't wait to continue growing this channel and building this lovely community for mature women. Hugs, KC
I use the method you used on your right eye (my viewing left). Eyes look so much larger. Still use liner or a darker shadow at the lash root, but hate under eye liner. Closes the eye in
I'm 62 and just love the glitter😂. I can't help it. Having said that, I don't actually use it. I've had to make an effort to NOT do the darker shadow at the corner of my eye. I have also moved away from high end makeup. A lot of more reasonably priced products aren't just "good for the price," but really good makeup. I just found your channel and subbed.
Wow, great video! I am surprised by just the little adjustments that made such a difference. Your right side was so soft and subtle whereas the other side had me thinking "Where's the circus"! In my opinion, when you added the red lipstick it instantly popped out all the lines around your lips like anyone edging 40 is starting to get, too garish. I see women wearing bright red matte lipstick and it does the same as it's so unforgiving if your hand isn't steady all the while. Looking forward to your next video!....
GM. Thank you so much. Yes, if you wear a red lipstick it has to be long lasting and the lips must be lined and then let's clean up those edges. I am so glad you are here - video coming Sunday! Hugs, KC
Enjoyed your video Very informative I like the stronger eyeliner under the eyes personally and looks good on you as you have nice eyes and it emphasis them But that's just me Wishing you all the best xx
Oh yes I always put my head band on as soon as I begin washing my face and it stays on through the moisturizing and make up process. Only comes of f when I'm ready to curl my hair(which is always my last step before heading out the door).
Wow! I need to master this. I have no hair at all. None on my head, no eyelashes no brows... nor anywhere else😂. So every morning i have a blank slate where i have to create a face. Naturally i have to wear strip lashes because i don't have anything to anchor the clusters, so i just use very minimal lashes. I am noticing as i age (67) that i need to create that upswept look... as things are sliding downward now. I never knew the importance of all the correct brushes (since I'm a cheapskate), but I'm seeing how in more videos and especially yours that they must be important. It's an investment right? I can't wait to see that next video of yours. I'm going to have to replay this a few hundred times to learn!❤
Hi Cathy, this was such a great comment and I appreciate you being open and honest about your hair loss. Yes, I have worked with cancer patients and strip lashes are so important to enhance their eyes....it can be tricky but in the end they look beautiful. The brushes are so important. I consider them birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, special occasion present to yourself. The BK Beauty brushes are amazing and while they can be costly, their sales come around several times a year and that is the time to grab them. As always, I do have a link and code for 10% off. Possibly treat yourself with a foundation brush to start then concealer and eyes. If you are looking for a set - start with the Angie Hot & Flash because it is designed for the mature woman. Hugs, KC
The side with more eye liner looks so much better and fresher. The one with less eye makeup on makes you look tired . the red lip is the worst thing for mature women.
Thank you for commenting. I only showed the red lipstick so that people could see it in the video - I prefer muted shades but you can't see. I will wear a lot of eye makeup for "formal events" but day to day it is just too much and I think it makes me look older. Hugs, KC
Instant follow As a mature woman I had stopped wearing makeup feeling defeated due to mature skin having vitiligo that thankfully didn’t start until around 30yrs old It’s so hard to match foundations I’m not trying to mask my vitiligo I do not want makeup caked on my face I just to look pulled together & feel good about myself again I had a semi olive warm skin tone but now I don’t even know what I am bc of the pink/white patches ALL over my face I’m assuming neutral would be best I’m too embarrassed to ask for help in stores regarding what my skin tone shade is I’ve tried once & was told they didn’t have a full enough coverage foundation for me to concern myself with shades That really hurt me bc I wasn’t asking to cover my patches I wish you could help me with that through the screen 😩Thank you for sharing this & getting through my rambling long comment I am truly grateful I’ve been wanting to wear makeup again for so long now Especially with my hereditary horrific dark hollow under eyes that bother me more than the vitiligo Again I’m sorry & thank you I look forward to learning more from your very helpful informative videos
Hi Kolondia, I’m Karla, 63 and so glad you popped up in my feed. I subscribed yesterday and so glad I stopped and watched your video yesterday and Amen! I have stopped watching a couple Content creators for the same reasons you mentioned. I too wear very little foundation and very little eyeshadow etc. these 70+ yr olds that cake on the makeup with their hair down drives me kooky lol. You showed a great difference and I’m going to have to try the Velour Cluster Lashes. I’ve never worn any kind of false lashes, but my lashes continue to fall out and I use a lash serum? Anyhoo, thank you for such great tips for applying makeup on more mature skin. Have a Blessed evening
Hi Karla, so, so happy you are here and happy to hear that you felt led to leave a comment. It just means the world to me.
I love that you shared that with us. Thank you so much and I be you look stunning. Hugs, KC
I have dismissed some channels to follow for the same reason you stated, their hair. I can't stand it either. It's one thing to be proud of your lockes. But get it out of the way when you do makeup for us. Thank you!!! 🫶
Hi Debbie! Loved your comment. Hugs, KC
Made a good point! Thank you!
Drives me crazy as well...I can't imagine putting my makeup on with my hair down in my face and it's so distracting to watch someone demonstrating makeup techniques that way completely distracts me from what they're trying to show.
I know. It's aggravating
Same pet peeve with not putting hair back!! 😂 I’m 61 and I’ve learned so much from you!! You are beautiful!! ❤
Oh Donna that is so good to know that I am not alone. Why does it drive me so crazy? Ha! Thank you for your support! Hugs!
Lynette, thank you so much. Yes, you had great take aways - means so much that you took the time to comment. Hugs, KC
You look so beautiful on both sides. Your pretty face can carry off any style of make up❤
That is so kind of you. I do love to "glitz" up every now and again but realized that day to day I need a bit less to keep things looking a tad bit younger. Hugs, KC
I agree i see the difference, yet you still look beautiful in both sides😍
I would love to see something with drugstore products.
It is on my list of videos to do in the future. I did one that you may enjoy. th-cam.com/video/M66vJ3ksxj8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=OhynwjyLxlx3IyNG
Thank you for watching and leaving a comment. It means so much. Hugs, KC
I learned so much from watching this video and I've worn makeup almost every day for lots of years. Love your tips. Can't wait for more. ❤
Susan, thank you. We all continue to learn - even me. I love sharing with you all.
Friend, there is a reason we all avoid those dreaded brows - they are always a work in progress no matter our skill level. Hugs, KC
I love the softer side makeup. Thanks for sharing. God bless.
You are so welcome I really love hearing the comments. Hugs, KC
Thank you for this video. I loved the softer side look. It’s the difference in looking at you and looking at your makeup. Big fan here. Thx
You are so welcome!
I like makeup that adds color. Your make up looked great on both sides of your face.
Jenny, thank you so much. Hugs, KC
Hugs, KC
I just love your make up tips and techniques. You’re so inspiring!
Thank you Joni! I am so happy you are here and watching. Miss you, my friend. Hugs! KC
Hugs, KC
I am 78 ,I totally agree with everything you've done, thanks.
Hello and thank you for commenting. It means so much to me. New video coming tomorrow. Hugs, KC
You are spot on.I agree less is more good job
Thank you so much. Hugs, KC
I enjoyed your demonstration. I was guilty today of using the wrong side and knew it immediately but it was too late. The more I blended, the brighter green my eye looked. Thanks for this tip.
You are so welcome and it's baby steps!!!! Hugs KC
YES!! thank you for mentioning that. It's my pet peeve, too. I'm so glad when content creators secure their hair, it makes their content so much better to watch.
Exactly!! Thank you so much for commenting. Hugs, KC
I am going to be 65 in January...I found this video very helpful!
Hi there and thank you so much. Hugs, KC
I am an artist but not with makeup. You have shown me the use of bright highlights to draw the eye in a way to hide shadows and lines. Fantastic! Now I know why I never got good results. Thank you so much ❤
GM and what a lovely comment. I am so glad I could help an artist as that is a huge compliment. Let me know how this all works out for you. Hugs, KC
Loved the video, learned a lot. I would love a tutorial on applying the cluster lashes.
Judy, I will do a video on lashes!!!! Thank you for asking. Hugs, KC xo
Omg this is such a beautiful glam!!! 😍💜
Thank you so much!!
Hugs, KC
Love the look great advice
Thank you so much. Hugs, KC
I have started doing all these hints except the lashes and the concealer around my lips. My lip area is my most troublesome so I will be doing that! And if my lashes get any thinner I may try the clusters. I was pleased to see that I'm doing most things right on this 73 year old face.
That makes me so happy to read. Hugs, KC
Hugs, KC
Your video was spot on. The lighter side was perfect. Also thanks for keeping it shorter. Will subscribe.
Thank you so much. Hugs, KC
You did a great job explaining everything!!! Less is more!
Thank you so much! So glad you are here, Sherry. Hugs! KC
This is my first time seeing your Chanel. Thank you so much for helping me to put my makeup on the right way.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hello there and welcome. I am so glad you are here. I can't wait to grow and share more with you all. Hugs, KC
I love your show its teaching me alot ,thank you.im looking forward to watching your show about the makeup brushes thanks again from Oklahoma ❤
Hi Gigi, thank you so much. Hugs, KC
Great demonstration
Thank you!!!! Hugs, KC
Very nice video showing the contrasts between products, application, and usage.
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching!
Thanks for your sharing this helped me so much loved the right side of your face 🎉
You’re welcome 😊 So glad you are here.
I am a 68-year-old woman and I appreciate your video.
Carol, thank you for letting me know. I appreciate you. Hugs, KC
Thank you - this helped me a lot!! I just need to remember that “less” is more younger!! That’s what I need.
Glad it was helpful! Debbie, thank you for commenting, it means a lot. Kc. :)
Hugs, KC
It was so helpful to see the difference between the two sides. Going to practice tight lining tomorrow!
Barbara, please let me know how it goes.
Enjoy. Hugs, KC
I glad someone is doing this u nailed it 😊❤
Hi Jayce, thank you so much. Hugs, KC
this was a very educational lesson. I love what you do with eyes. looks great. thank you
Thank you so much. Hugs, KC
I love the idea of cream on the lids I'm going to do this too , your make up looks so good on you 😊
Thank you so much!! Hugs KC
If you can find a flesh tone concealer stick to use over the blue that might be helpful. Thank you so much for commenting. Hugs, KC
@@kalondiacasey I'll try that, thank you
Wow! I do the heavy side and never realized I look like that. Unreal.. I just turn 70 yrs of age. Thank you soo much. Really Nancy at Tibby Island, ga.
Oh my goodness, thank you for commenting. I love this so much. I love Tiby Island!!! KC
Very much liked your tutorial. So much agree with the eye make up and blush. The dark shadow draws the eye down and I have been guilty. So thank you so much.
So glad it helped you, Penny. Thank you for leaving a comment. Hugs, KC
I enjoyed it so much that I watched every minute of it! What an artist you are!
That is so kind....thank you for sharing with me. Hugs, KC
Hugs, KC
Great video!
Less is more.
Yes, it sure can be but this gal likes to glam it up as well. Lol!
Hugs, KC
PS - those over plucked eye brows are so hard to work with. have you tried a stencil?
The darker side makes your eye look so much bigger which I like.. both sides look nice
Viven, I've heard that from other people as well. So interesting. I appreciate your comment so much. Hugs, KC
Hi! So great getting advice on makeup from someone my same age 😊
Hi Sherry, thank you so much. So glad you are here. Hugs, KC
You are right. Looks gorgeous, love it ❤
Thank you! 🤗 I really appreciate your comment. Hugs, KC
Hugs, KC
This was so interesting. I totally agree with your opinion. Thank you
Sandy, I am so glad you stopped and watched it and took the time to leave me a comment. It means so much to me. You are so welcome. Hugs, KC
I’m going to try your eyeliner tip.
Woohoo. Let me know how it goes. xo
I like the sugestion of placing the top eyelinr in the top waterline, and not above the lashes. I will try this, although for a more evening going out look, I'd probably line above the lashes and do the upper waterline.
Love that!!!! Thank you for sharing. Hugs, KC
Hugs, KC
I think you are great, It looks like the past has been updated. Thanks, Sandra

Really enjoyed your video, thank you! 61 here blonde blue eyed petite woman hour.
Wonderful! Thank you for your comment! KC
KC

Hello Anne (I hope I spelled that right). I am so glad you are here and enjoyed the video. Hugs, KC
Hugs, KC

Love this video. I keep it much more low key with makeup these days but I do love my lash extensions. They are definitely on the whispy side!
Hi Chrissy, thank you for commenting. It sounds like you go to a great technician that doesn't put them on thick like we see on younger gals. Wispy sounds amazing! I'm so glad you are here. Hugs, KC

Love the softer look. Ty

Such a helpful video with some great advice that I will put to use on myself. Thank you!!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for being here!
Hi Sally! Thank you so much for the suggestion. I think I will try your suggestions in my next video. Hugs, KC
This was great. Love the under eye tips and the blackened on the waterline. So helpful.
That is wonderful to hear. I am glad you are enjoying the channel! Hugs! KC

Closes the eye in
Hi Cheryl, thank you for the comment. Yes, that liner can close my small eyes off. Hugs, KC
Hi Sheralyn, thank you so much!!!! I'll be doing some drugstore makeup soon. I agree with you can find some great drug store products. Hugs, KC
Hugs, KC
Enjoyed your video
Very informative
I like the stronger eyeliner under the eyes personally and looks good on you as you have nice eyes and it emphasis them
But that's just me
Wishing you all the best xx
Hey there, thank you so much. That is so sweet and kind. Hugs, KC
Oh yes I always put my head band on as soon as I begin washing my face and it stays on through the moisturizing and make up process.
Only comes of f when I'm ready to curl my hair(which is always my last step before heading out the door).
Thank you so nice looks lovely very easy to follow
You are so welcome. Hugs, KC

Hi there. Just do what it is that makes you feel good and you have time for. Remember this is my job. Hugs, KC
Thank you for doing this video.
You are so welcome. Thank you for being here. KC
I love a pretty glam look but have had to learn to pull in the reins a bit as to not look "over the top". Looking forward to many more videos. If there is anything you would love to see, please let me know. Hugs, KC
@@kalondiacasey so sweet Koladia. Do you have dry or normal skin? Is dry, what’s your fave foundation? I will be going thru and watching some of your videos.
