I cannot disagree more, IMHO... to favor another athlete's position over the others is the purest aspect of cheating. Just because you like someone, or they are perceived as superior, doesn't give them the advantage of lane choice over the rest. If you want to make it fair, make the lanes straight. If they can't run a corner, no matter the position, then they are not as superior as perceived.
Take into aspect the finals and you have 3 runners who have almost identical times, who would you allow to make lane choice? Then the others would revolt over the favortism being implemented, along with their fans.

Many want to disrespect him even though he's been an NCAA 200m champ with a time of 20.19 and finished second with a time of 20.13. Today, he ran in lane 4 and still ran the race in a time of 20.31. The runners in the other heats who ran in Lane 4 had times of 20.66, 20.67, and 20.77. Today, he had the fourth fastest time of all sixteen runners. The ones who finished ahead of him were in lanes 5, 5, and 6. Except for the two Nigerian imports, he would be the favorite tomorrow.

There is an art and science to sprinting the tight curves. Make your momentum, and shorter distance work for you, not against you. Tackle, and eat up the tight turn by speeding up and "slingshotting" yourself. Never slow down. You will need higher turnover, strong ankles, hips, and nimbleness. Make the shorter distance work for you, not against you.

Boling still needs to improve his form! But at this point in his career it looks like that will never happen.

I unsubscribed from three channels due to they did things I didn't like. It is an option. I think the content on this channel is good. So, I continue to watch.
