:) thank you...I just bought my first pair of curved shears for my blackie... Neat you mentioned the BRT first 💜 you saved my hands some serious joint pain!
Thank you so much! Great video with such clear and concise information. 🙏 This helps so much. I need to trim my standard poodle between grooming sessions and this helps so much. Thank you again!
professional groomer here we actually hate when people do that because we end up having to try and blend all the random uneven spots clients say this all the time thinking they are helping but they are creating way more work by doing this. Especially because the dog does need to be washed and brushed out to get the hair prepped for an even cut when owners do it at home without prep it may look even but the moment they get washed and brush we can see all of those uneven areas you cut. I dont know where you go but many salons do small trims like feet clean ups, face clean ups, or sanitary area without doing a full groom. Face trim is 7 dollars at petco. Face, feet, and fanny, 10 bucks. Cheap options.
I am trying to find two things...#1, you mentioned in this video that you had more in depth video's on each type of shear. I am not finding it. Also, you had a video on deep conditioning, but what is the follow up? A full shampoo and conditioning?
Depends on the breed, whether they're being actively shown... so many factors! A dog being shown weekly will be trimmed weekly, and every day at the dog show.
Super helpful, thanks!
The word for looking for to protect the top of scissors ✂️ is sleeve:)

For a pet owner.. learning a lot.

I wanted to ask what brand for shears is the best? That’s what I am looking for right now as a groomer in training!
where can I find the equipment series that dives deeper into using the different types of scissors?
What brands make good grooming scissors?
What set of tools for my Airedale?
How do you disinfect your equipment between dogs?
Which shears etc for imperial full coat shih tzu. Thick coat
Whats the name of the shears that you are referring to as “magic eraser”?
They are the "Eraser" from Utsumi - U&U UA 70/80
Convex shears can absolutely be sharpened by a credible skilled sharpener
How often do you scissor?
