I didn't know how long it would take me to get out because the ground was more raised than the water. People saw me and Ben trying to get out and they ran over to us and helped us out. When we tried to get Ben out his collar slipped off with his leash still on it. It floated down to the bottom, but I didn't care. As long as I had my sweet black lab, Ben, I would be okay.
