Everything you do related to that game can be answered that way. "Why did you tie a civilian to a massive propane tank and turn that tank into the next SpaceX rocket?" "Why do you play with mods?"
My favorite “action movie” aspect of this game is that if you drive a car and jump out of it, it doesn’t matter how fast or slow it’s going, if it hits ANYTHING it instantly explodes.
For anyone new to the game there is an island to the north with a helicopter "boss" with a shield, a quick way to kill it is grapple it to the floor and enjoy your weapon.
Just Cause 3 is the example of dlc done perfectly. It’s something that feels like it fits into the world perfectly, while also not feeling like the devs pulled it out of the game just to charge money for it also it has a MECH SUIT WITH FORCE POWERS. COOLEST SHIT EVER.
Just recently had the absolute joy of playing Just Cause 3 and all the DLC missions. Flying around in the OP wingsuit and recking the Generals forces in mechs was AWESOME
Serious sam is also heavily slept on. Its the best horde shooter out there and the little secrets hidden in every level that spawn random shit is both fun and crazy that nobody else did
BAD MOVIE/SHOW IDEA (I might be describing something that already exists): It's a superhero fantasy sort of movie, but It's also kind of a rom-com. We've got this superhero beating villains right, but there's one villain they just can't beat. When they aren't a superhero they are just your average person and same with the villain. In their non superhero form they fall in love with someone as the plot progresses. But the plot twist at the end is that the love interest they fell in love with as the plot progresses got married to the hero, but then, after having a few children, the hero realizes that the person they're married to is the villain they've been fighting, and now we have ourselves a predicament. This is a mid plot realization, and the rest of the movie focuses on the kids, and one accidently releases a demon so then they all team up or something before ending in a brawl between the hero, the hero's evil love interest, and the demon. Then, at the end they all have a dance party or something and it ends on a cliffhanger with the hero and villain fighting and then getting trapped in another dimension. Then, a sequel would release which I actually have a name for (Sinsisters) Which is about 4 years after the events of the original and souly focuses on the family problem of whether to be a hero or villain.
Just Cause 3 will forever be one of my favorite games of all time, I bought it at launch, collectors edition and ever since then it's changed my life forever. To be honest I wouldn't be doing stupid things in games if it wasn't for this game alone.
I love these games, I remember a mission, I think it was in the second one, where you needed to go to an island to get a shipment of weapons for the local resistance that people thought was cursed because every ship that got close would sink, you get there and find soldiers who think WW2 is still going on and fighting, you help this one soldier destroy this device causing the storm that sinks every ship that gets close which then the resistance leader calls you asking where you are with the weapons, they your guy just says, “weapons? Oh right I forgot about that.” Funniest moment in the game, I love it
I honestly played only just cause 4 but this was really fun. Even after I maxed most of the abilities I still was just playing around causing havoc, or just drive on different cars, because I really like the radio in this game
I agree so much. I don't understand why there's not a lot of talk about it. It's a game where it has a decent campaign, it's open world, and you can NEVER get bored while playing.
My favourite pass time on just cause or just way of getting high. Was getting a jet getting to the sky limit then jumping off to either look at the view or travel across the map. The gliding was the bread and butter of the game bro i swear. Ricko's voice lines were amazing too. The Dlcs tho were fun as hell too. They covered ground, air and sea combat as far as I'm concerned. The boat you get for finishing it was WORTH. And the mech was fun as hell too. The jetpack was fun i preferred normal gliding to be honest.
I legitimately play this game for hours on end, just messing about and doing cool things, and a single player game making me play for that long is commendable
Man, i was playing just cause 4, i got in the skycastle cargo jet, the i spawned in the shark car from the black market, i put it in the cargo jet, i flew above the ocean near the big agency submarines, i went into the cargo hold and opened the door i hot into the car, dropped into the ocean and blew everything up once i drove to the submarine, it really is just an action movie
FINALLY YOU MENTIONED IT I love this game and it is so underrated I thought the story was actually just fine and it sucks that Square Enix are not focusing on making 5 much
BAD GAME IDEA: It's a cross platform game with an overarching plot, but each version has a different genre and protagonist. Ex: Mobile version is a farming Sim staring a guy named Bobby, computer version is a 2d platformer staring a girl named Jessica, Switch version stars Cornelius in a dungeon crawler, Xbox version stars Kelsey shooting down space aliens, and PlayStation stars Bobby's son named Gobbie who made a deal with the devil and now is climbing his well out of the deepest puts of the Nether. The thing is, at the end, they all meet up and beat up some random dude causing a portal to appear, and now they are all working together in an RPG to kill Bobby's father who is god and also the devil and also has a tractor mech. Then after that, the rest of the series turns into a cooking simulator.
Just Cause literally has infinite possibilities to do stuff, you can go in with the jetpack to blow things up, try destroying everything with a grappling hook, hell even crash planes into everything it's literally the do whatever you want game and I love it
Finally I had the same thoughts about this game and I didn't understand why nobody talked about it it's incredible thank you for this video I wholeheartedly agree
I don't know if i still do, but in Xbox One, i had first place in most challenges, i had the longest drift, the longest time of gliding with wingsuit, and the highest escalation in parachute. (I didn't even get past 40% story completion but had found everything in the open world)
Dude, my brother beat this game and gave it to me whem I was like 9, and I LOVED IT! Every single time he checked on me while I was playing, he would get mad that I wasn't even doing the story, and I was just being chaotic lol.
Even the story is much better in JC3. Then there’s the general aesthetic. The feeling when controlling Rico in JC3 is also superior, since he has more weight to him. The game just feels more solid, even when none of the Just Cause games feel particularly grounded.
Here's a idea for a vid: would you press the button. So you can get any one of the seven deadly sins powers like if you picked gluttony you can just eat anything with really sharp teeth and it will also taste really good but one random sin will go after you untell you die or you kill it with dark magic witch you do not get at the start and you will have to learn it after the first year of you having powers
Completely forgot about just cause 3, I never finished the story since I spent my entire time grappling people to cars and blowing up anything with a fire symbol on it
I played this game once at my neighbors and I got completely involved an I spent my entire time grappling around like spiderman and attching people to random things
One of the few games Ive played though multiple times, (other's are hitman and call of duty infinite warfare. And if you count speedrunning horizon call of the mountain)
Bad Card Game Idea: It starts off as a game like Exploding Kittens where you have to be the last player standing. But, cards now change the way you play the game. Example: If you play a Water Cup card, every time anyone plays a card, they must drink a cup of water.
The plot of just cause you are Rico you kill dictator you meet your friend Mario than punch a missile and then Mario pisses on a wall then you kill dictator

Nonono. I've tested it. It DOES matter. The thing is, the speed that triggers it is like 10 kph.

He didn't even mention that you bull ride a missile as one of the missions
F#ck you missile!
Story is insane
I loved just cause 4 but I got stuck on the mission where u have to defend the receptor thing from the enemies it was soooo hard

this game lets you have some main character moments
Moments ? The whole game is a main character moment.
Rico Rodriguez is the quintessential main character. You could put him in anything.
For anyone new to the game there is an island to the north with a helicopter "boss" with a shield, a quick way to kill it is grapple it to the floor and enjoy your weapon.
I also killed it by crushing it with a supply drop and that one basically big boom launcher before he even put his shield up

This was one of the first games I’ve ever played and I am so glad to see people who love it just as much as me
You can literally do almost anything you want
Just recently had the absolute joy of playing Just Cause 3 and all the DLC missions. Flying around in the OP wingsuit and recking the Generals forces in mechs was AWESOME
My favorite part of the game is that if you shoot out the front tire of a car going like 20mph or faster itll flip entirely and just explode
I am genuinely so happy to see you talking about my favorite game of all time, Jonny. This game was one of the staples of my childhood.
I actually really love the story of Just Cause 3, the missions are great fun

Just Cause 3 is seriously awesome.
I wish I could get the same out of JC4, but they really fumbled with removing base destruction for liberation.
Even the story is much better in JC3. Then there’s the general aesthetic. The feeling when controlling Rico in JC3 is also superior, since he has more weight to him. The game just feels more solid, even when none of the Just Cause games feel particularly grounded.
