The very close bond of you and your husband and children is so very inspiring to others and a joy to see. God bless your family.

Sonja, you look so lovely .. filled with such peace and happiness .. just perfect contentment. I think a woman looks most beautiful when she is expecting, and that is completely true with you. Your face is radiant and glowing, and to me you just seem to be in perfect bliss. I'm not Jewish, I'm a Christian, but it has been such a blessing for me to have found your channel -- learning about your customs, traditions, celebrations, and most especially your faith. Sending you love and saying a special blessing of prayer for you and your beautiful family 💜🙏🫄

You're so amazing at cooking and baking.i wish I was a better cook. Christians who follow God's Holy Days do keep this day, and to us, it is the day after the Messiah (Christ) returns, and He removes Satan and bounds him for 1000 years. It is a very joyous occasion to be with God forever & no separation ever again. Many blessings and love from Canada.

The Brisket melted in my mouth, yum, yum, yummy, lol. Brisket, potatoes, carrots... cooked in a slow cooker. My question is, have you considered cooking Brisket meals on your show? Don't just think about it, do it pleasssse. Thank you Sonya.

Sonya, I loved this introduction and your explaining the spirituality of Yom Kippur-you helped it to occur to me that following the celebration of the new year with Rosh Hashana, what more appropriate, positive and helpful way to continue that turning of the page than making ourselves right with God, with others and with ourselves. A clean sheet! A fresh start. And I love how you call your children "kiddos"! I'm 70, and when I was growing up the special adults in my life with whom I had a loving relationship, would call us lovingly, "kiddos" as you do with yours. Don't hear it much anymore- praying that you and your family will have a blessed Yom Kippur and joyous celebration following the fast.

Thank You so Much for the effort you put forth to make and share these recipes. I especially am touched when, ooops, this isn't the bread I'd like to get but they were out; or adding about a quarter cup of water to get the right consistency....and love hearing the kids.
