    Since you mentioned it in the video, I'm from Italy and although I don't know of many people who actually live in the same house as their grandparents, many live in semi-detached houses with one side for the family and one side for the grandparents, so they live extremely near and see each other everyday but there's still some personal space and privacy :)

    I like sitting here and listening to you talk about stuff for half an hour 😉

    the two houses and one garden sounds like a really good idea dont think ever seen anyone build anything like that

    I'm freaking OBSESSED with how this build turned out!! Especially the living room & yard!
    As for toddlers & changing tables, you CAN still change toddlers & infants without having a changing table! The diapers will just end up on the floor 😉

    I personally love your long videos there's just something very calming about them.
    i recently read or heard somewhere that they fixed the high chairs and when i played with one it seemed fine.

    This house is so beautiful :) High chairs did used to be so broken but are much improved now...I have afew families with children that have used them without issues. I look forward to adding this wonderful house to my game :)

    I love all your builds :D I never thought of open spaces like that ... that's an interesting view and I could see the advantages. Both in sims and in real life I avoid houses with a kitchen in the open space because I feel like when you cook (especially if you use something like onion, garlic, etc) it stinks your whole living area haha.

      @AvelineYT  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      just need proper ventilation and a proper hood! I like the openness, it's easier to be together 🤍😄

    I felt called out haha when you mentioned those supposedly rare people who replace the lots of an entire world with builds from the same person. I do this, because it's fun, and builders often have a cohesive style. And I love your floor plans, they're great to play with. Anyway, this house looks really fun. I don't like moving older sims out if I can help it, so I'll definitely be keeping this build in mind if I get a family of a similar makup.

    Hi Rosa! I’m from Italy and can confirm there’s a lot of families here that live with grandparents and great grandparents. For example my cousin, after a divorce, went back to live with his child in the family home so they were 4 generations! 😅

    • @AvelineYT
      @AvelineYT  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it's funny 'cause I get a comment like this where you confirm it, but I've also gotten another saying it's not common 😂
      I do know it's a thing in Italy though

    Always love your builds a lot ❤ I am also a huge fan of open spaces in homes and I also love one-story homes.

    Oh my goodness. Beautiful build. I AM that person that places all your lots. HAHA I always redo my worlds and you're my go-to builder along with a couple others. I use your apartments ONLY. Always very excited for your builds!
    Just an observation: the new picture frames are designed to just drop in photos your sim takes. If you resize them, they won't snap properly.
    Toddlers don't need changing tables. Only infants actually. So your old builds are still ok in that way. HAHA

    • @AvelineYT
      @AvelineYT  ปีที่แล้ว

      omg you're that ONE person then 😂😂 nice to meet you!
      Thanks for letting me know about the resizing, I had no idea! Will need to keep in mind 👀
      and ... oh, WELL ... this game doesn't make any sense 😭

    To answer your question 27:00 into the video, toddlers typically use pull-ups during potty training. I'm not a parent, myself, but I know a lot of parents and that's what I was told.

    • @AvelineYT
      @AvelineYT  ปีที่แล้ว

      I only know workout pull-ups and I'm super confused 😭

    You actually don't need changing tables for toddlers btw. They can be changed on them but its optional since they mainly use toddler potty's. Just like with infants you technically don't need changing tables but the diapers will just be on the floor if you don't. Amazing build as always! My favorite room is the pastel teen room :)

    it's all good changing tables aren't necessary for toddlers 😄 your Sims can just change the diapers like they did before the update

    As an engineering student I feel the same way when I’m making open floor plans. I keep thinking about the columns and the beams 😭

  • @kolli7150
    @kolli7150 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    First, I absolutely adore this build. 😊
    Second, don't worry- your builds are definitely not all outdated because you haven't a changing table in them. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, the big infants basegame update excluded changing tables... so you only have them with growing together...it still is a big controversy within the community... 😅

    Can someone help me? I am struggling with raising my house as a whole house instead of just individual rooms. Everytime I want to raise the foundation just one room raises and that does not seem like the fastest way haha. Playing the sims for years and just alway did everything individual 😂😂
