The synapse is such a great knife. I definitely had to set an alarm and everything to get one before they sold out. did the same to get a gen 2 impulse. I missed the chance for the axon and the aftermarket for Vero is pretty annoying. People selling axons for $500+.
It's pretty insane honestly I can't remember this happening with another oem brand, maybe 100 over retail or so but I've seen these go for double, they are great designs and well built but its just a bestech after all.
@@faretheewell3711 I really enjoy carrying and using both the synapse and impulse but i would never gonna pay more than initial price for one. the aftermarket is ridiculous for these. I wish Vero would do something similar to TRM and cap it at 20%. I was all aboard the Vero hype train till seeing them go for double or more.

I'm not a fan of a detent ramp. I like the stop the ball creates on the tang. Gives a longer drop shut weather it's a early detent or late. If it's a late detent you're not past the ramp untill a the blade is at a 90 degree angle. Which makes for a crappy action in my opinion

I like the design that goes into Vero's knives but feel his price point is too high for outsourced knives of their caliber. If they were made domestically I'd totally support him and pick up some of his designs but that itself is too much of a deterrent imo
