This might be a stupid question but do you turn off the overhead lights when you film videos with a ring light too? I’m think I’m finally going to invest in lighting because waiting for good natural light is so limiting.

I dont ! But it really depends what tone of lights you have. If your lights are really warm I would ! Also because I shoot in an all white room my lighting bounces nicely.
