I always wondered what the composer thought when making this song. It is a wild gambit of techno, orchestra, bit of heavy base and guitar, with a hint of flute for flavor. Just a beautiful song to start the morning with.

So freaken awesome how the first "It's time to du du du du duel" is by Yugi Muto and he's standing on his own.
Also the Atem returning and that final scene with Pharoah Atem and Seto Kaiba
Thanks! I wanted to mix that part up a bit. And regarding Atem and Kaiba, I thought there wasn’t really any other way to end it. Took some time to fit in everything I wanted and get it right though, but very happy with the final result.
@@one-il5fu love the ending of the movie. Like in the Abridged series were Ishizu basically telling Kaiba that his destiny was to duel the Phamtom for all eternity. He was like "Best destiny ever"
Kaiba made it happen.

At the very end in the afterlife Atem is just like
“I’ve been waiting Kaiba!”

This just proves that they should have had the instrumental theme song at the end scene of the movie and fade out, this was a great example. Great Job!

I loved DSOD, it's a great sequel. Initially I was a bit sad that Atem didn't appear as much, but heck, Yugi killed it.
It's my headcanon now, that Atem watches over his friends and is with them, although they might not see him.
Thanks so much! 😁 And I liked DSOD a lot as well. Joey is my favorite character so I wish we got to see him in action one more time, but I can’t really complain with how they handled the characters. They did a great job capturing some of that original Yu-Gi-Oh feel.
That’s my headcanon as well. He may have gone on to the afterlife, but he’s with them in spirit.

I don’t think we could’ve asked for a better “nostalgia-bate” movie. It truly had everything it needed to be amazing, it will actually ALWAYS be one of my favorite animated movies now. I bought an entire booster box of gold rare DSOD cards and they got me back into the series. In fact, I’m GRATEFUL this movie came out, it re-kindled the love I have for yugioh, which I still have today. Multiple tournament ready decks and still collecting

Its great but there is a problem. 0:58 it just doesn't work with Yugi and not atem.
Thanks! Glad you liked it! 😁 And yeah, when I was making it, I was struggling to find two shots of Atem that I felt fit the music well. I think he only appeared in that fake duel with Kaiba and at the end of Yugi’s duel so there wasn’t much to work with. In the end, I decided to use Yugi in one spot and Atem in the other. 🤷♂️
