The package I had came with 2, so I used one for each horse, and I think I was able to get 3 uses out of each one. So for me, one blade lasted all summer.
Can't wait to have a clean horse again! How do you keep them clean and shiny when you can't bathe in the winter? PS Your husband is a great sport! That's a big task for a non-horsey person.

I love your videos but my horse who is high strung might kick me in the face if i bent down like that. Any suggestions? can you bang it safer pulling it to the side?
separate it, almost like layers but keep at same length, if a little uneven at bottom add conditioner and slick it together then cut (also I'm guessing u know but make sure their tail is absolutely soaked)💗
Hi Stefanie! I used my homemade mane and tail detangler. I spray it on and let it dry, and then brush through it. He also had a bath the day before I made this video :)
Bought the stuff to make it and try it! And ordered some horse shavers too, I've never done her tail before (at the top) so we will see how it goes for my very first attempt!
If you go behind a horse, he/she won't automatically kick you just because. They might if you scare them, but if they know you're there and they don't have a reason to kick you, they probably won't. Though, you always need to be careful and expect it

It's really easy to make, and it works just as good as the ones you can buy in the store, and it is a lot less expensive :)
