A now former co-worker, was having a bad day. She was grumpy, over opinionated, basically a jurk. I called her out on it. She stopped, looked at me and said. I am having my period, and it's taking everything in me not to kill everyone.
the fact that this video only has 6.5 views yet only 170 of those viewers liked the video says it all . a personal opinion that would most likely resonate with most people: the world has been operating from an unhealthy, hyper-masculine mindset which desperately needs to shift to incorporate harmony for diversity and inclusiveness of each and every one. i think Moondays is one of the stepping stones in doing so ❤
I'm a man working in a kindergarden and it is a female dominated work envoirement. Still this is not a topic. Comletely overlooked. I do not know how to progress.
I work in one of the best work environments in the US, which is the federal government. We have sick days, but we don’t have Mondays on our time and attendance system. How do we go about this? We also have free feminine products in our workplace, which is very hard to find in a lot of places.
Periods were given as a curse for eves sin- & it’s like we treat it like a sin to discuss- and I feel everyone works too much!!!!! PERIOD!!!! ***btw in the Bible woman got a week away or “off” every month (their time of their periods they didnt work etc)
Yes, the taboo needs to be broken, but there are lacks in this presentation, and those need to be given attention. First off: the period is not a problem in itself, as I’m sure you agree. It’s the sociatal structure in which women are working equally to men that is a problem for the period cycle/struggles/pains. It’s a way of thinking that needs to change. Secondly: good for you and your company with the Moon days, that’s a step in a right direction but wtf is up with giving this to people identifying as women but not experiencing the menstruel cycle. That is just weird and unfair to everyone. It defyes the purpose entirely. I couldn’t watch anymore after that last nonsense thing. But I’m thankful you were brave to go on stage, to try something different at least. Good luck to all of us.
I apologize for commenting before watching the video, but that title deserves a star.
Agreed 😂

women cannot control having their period so we all need policies in every workplace to help with this issue, imo… like an extra paid day off or so
