Fun to walk thru Brimfield virtually with you. So many wonderful things. Just one thought, there are restrictions on selling military grave markers depending upon how they were acquired among other laws.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! I didn't consider the idea of restrictions, but I can appreciate why they might exist. We didn't purchase the marker, we just thought it was interesting to check out. One can never be too respectful of those who have served.
What a fun and successful day at Brimfield, living in South Jersey, aka , The Shore. It would be impossible to do a day trip, so thank you for all the highlights and tips and tricks! Your Collections are amazing, love your Brown Transferware cabinet! Of course being a Limoges girl, your collection is breathtaking ❤️❤️. Like you I don’t mind if the pieces, that are “waiting” for me have a tiny bit of damage, which signifies a backstory that they were used and loved by their previous owners, let’s not forget that obscene price you paid, 👏👏👏👏. Great job, I bet you were on Cloud 9 driving home🥰. Have a delicious week and thanks again for sharing your Brimfield adventure !
I'm so glad you enjoyed my video! I appreciate the fan fare for my excellent prices - I definitely found a few good bargains! I'm so glad you share my belief that you don't need perfection to fall in love with something old and interesting! ❤❤
What wonderful finds from Brimfield. Thank you for showing us how and where you display the pieces you keep. Also, thank you for the Iris sighting ;) Stay well.
Haha! Kettle corn is delicious and there was plenty of it around! I was quite pleased with my apple cider donut - the first of the season! (It always comes down to food, doesn't it?)
Good call on keeping the Fenton carnival glass, gorgeously displayed. Your mantle with the red treasures and books is really starting to be fun, love seeing it. You don’t show your brown transferware cabinet much, such a great collection!
Thank you so much! I liked it when I saw it, but I'm really enjoying it in its new space. I used some museum putty to keep it on the tray so it won't be a casualty of naughty kitties! I'm so glad you like my transferware! It gets much more attention in the fall and winter months.
Wonderful pieces!! Thank you for taking us along to Brimfield. I, too, will be on the lookout for Mary Gregory glass....really beautiful. I've learned so much watching your channel. With your recommendation, I've started watching Schitts Creek....absolutely hilarious! 😂
Oh my gosh - I'm so excited that you're watching Schitts Creek - it only gets BETTER! Be sure to let me know what you think when you finish the series!
The Limoge pitcher is gorgeous. Fabulous shape. I think it should be in a more prominent spot in your collection to see the whole pitcher and appreciate the shape! 😜Just my thoughts!! Really enjoy your channel and your explanations of the various items!
I totally agree. We've had very positive experiences. I think it says something about a school when more than one child from the same family is interested in attending!
I’m glad the weather cooperated for your Brimfield experience. The weather is so unpredictable- I’ve been there for all three shows in different years and the weather has been hot all three shows, or rain, or cold! Never can figure it out. I love the Putnam shop and only live about 20 miles from there! I love all of your finds. You got some great deals considering it’s Brimfield!
Thank you! I don't think we could have had better weather conditions. I'm so glad you liked my finds! It's definitely not easy finding good prices at Brimfield, but I was lucky to meet some motivated sellers.
I loved the video. I love the treasures I buy from you, but it makes me equally happy when you find treasures for yourself. I have the Royal Albert Blossom Time tea set and I also have the salad and dinner plates as well as the trios. It is so beautiful when it is all dressed on the table. It’s definitely a favorite of mine. The sugar bowls are usually open, however I do have one with a lid as well as the open one. Some of the patterns do have ones with lids. I think it might be for the ones that also have the dinner service. I loved seeing your brown transfer ware collection as well as the beautiful Limoges collection. The marigold bowl looks beautiful where you placed it. When you were filming I saw the plate with the red center and I was hoping you would buy it. It looks beautiful in your display. As always I love seeing the pets. I recently bought a planter of a white cat and even though it was vintage Napco it had never been used just displayed. I had intended to plant it with succulents and add to my collection on the lanai but it is just so cute I added pink artificial carnations and keep it on my breakfast table. It reminds me of Iris and the white cats I have owned over the years.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! I bet your Royal Albert set is gorgeous!!! I love using the brown and white set for fall and winter, and I think the Limoges pieces will be perfect for spring and summer! It's so much fun to mix things up. I'm jealous of your white cat planter! (Iris is asleep on the table next to me as I write this).
Hello from Goshen CT. So glad I came upon your channel! You left the blue delft, yikes. That was a Porseleine Fles. Same marking as on the flower box you bought a few videos ago.
I KNOW! Ask me how much I regret it! What was I thinking? I especially loved the feet on that piece. Hopefully I come across more in the future. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
Kris !! I was away and found this free ad on fb marketplace and guess what was there !?? Two Limoge pieces. So i texted my friend and she picked them up for me !! Can’t wait to get home to see the condition.. i thought of you right away
I was taught the difference between Mary Gregory and European is that she worked in white only the European would add touches of color (usually the faces)

Loved seeing your brown and white collection!!
Thank you so much! I love using it for the fall and winter holidays, especially!
I love the Mary Gregory pieces ❣️
Thank you! I'm going to keep my eye out for more!
Great prices! I usually leave with only a bag of Kettle corn 😋

Enjoying your channel ❤your home is so elegant
Thank you so much for saying so! I appreciate the positive feedback!

I really liked the little Hall tea pot. Cute. And the English bone China cups are lovely.
I've never seen such a small one! I'm glad you enjoyed my little haul!
Wilson is so happy that you’re home!
He's such a good boy! 🐶🐶

I'm so glad you like the pitcher! You make a good point about the placement of it - maybe I'll try to mix things up a bit and give it a better spot!
UNH is a great school. My grandson goes there, too. My granddaughter hopes to go to UNH next year.

It looked like the carnival glass piece has a N with a line underneath. If so it’s probably Northwood. Could be older than Fenton

That's excellent - great finds! (I'm jealous!) 😂
I’ve always wanted to shop Brimfield mass market just to far to go and find motels etc for me
It can be a lot to coordinate for sure. I hope my video gave you a sense of it!
I have a huge box of brown transferware if you are interested. Although I forgot what pattern it is.
I would love to see it! If you feel like sending my pix, my email is Klindsay1388@gmail.com.
Licorice, don’t tap dance, honey.😅
She's like Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire rolled into one silly tap-dancing dog!
I was taught the difference between Mary Gregory and European is that she worked in white only the European would add touches of color (usually the faces)
That's so interesting! I didn't read that in my research, but I didn't do a deep dive.
