What I like about this is its REAL. A half filled trunk with tools and equipment, dirty gloves, furnace with trace of ash, slightly rusted shovel, chimney with rainbow gloss and genuine cooking. All things were used before and showed the camper was experienced. Unlike some other channel, a young woman in a suspiciously neat and clean cabin, tools came out from nowhere and all were shinny like new. To cook, just stir fry some bacon, putting it with some pickles and cheese then call it a "salad". Obviously there was a supply truck nearby and the video was just showing how cool she was. This showed a possible and realistic way to camp, not just some life style self promoting show. Good video.
We go camping once every two weeks throughout the year. I like listening to real sounds in nature and feeling the temperature. Of course, I also love hot meals. 👍 It's great to spend time alone in nature without thinking about anything. 🚚😊
Living alone and separated from my wife, watching this video makes me feel so energized, the scene makes me realize that there's a lot more things to enjoy in this lifetime. I love this kind of vlog. Kudos!

It is very cold in the Yukon, Canada. In winter, the air is clear and you can see far into the distance. The food was very good, eating while warming up in the snow. 👍

Winter camping sure has way different feel than summer camping. Snow is so beautiful and cold. Glad you have all the heating equipments in place. Drinking sake by the fireplace is the ultimate luxury! Very nice! Here in Colorado we have some really cold days, it even got down to -24C. We just stayed home and lit the fireplace. I have also been to Ichinoseki and Geibikei Gorge, back in 2005 :) Thank you for sharing your lovely area, I look forward to seeing more of your videos :) I last visited Miyagi in 2019 with my kids. We stayed at their Japanese grandparents house and also in Zushi, by the beach with my Kiwi friend :) Shohei is a total stud, Japanese baseball players are awesome.
I lived in Aomori Prefecture from ‘92 to ‘95, went to Morioki to fly r/c planes with the local club once. Absolutely fell in love with Japan. I did not want to return to the states! Excellent video!

I love your vehicle 🚗, very nice camper. I lived in a dodge panel van that I converted to a mini motor home for over a year. Very peaceful and cozy. I miss those days now that I am older

Very nice rig and setup, love the location, peaceful. I can't say enough about peace and serenity as I get older, it has become a priority for me. Nothing is more spiritually cleansing than solitude and the ambiance of a fire, you capture this perfectly.

I was able to spend a comfortable time thanks to my small minitruck and tent. 😄

Единственное что удивило, это то что он дрова с собой привез, а не нарубил . Ещё и печку разжигать не умеет правильно. Не опытный наверное

Splendid setup. All the comforts of modern home camping. To me the highlight is how well organized you have everything while experiencing nature at its finest.
This past week we got down to -54C with wind chill. Still good to go camping with the right gear. The air is so pure, and the stars so bright. You only get that with winter camping. Really enjoy your videos 👋

Here in Colorado we have some really cold days, it even got down to -24C. We just stayed home and lit the fireplace. Should’ve thought to open that bottle of Japanese sake that I have been saving!😅

If you listen closely to the sounds of nature, you will notice a wide variety of sounds.
It's a good sound, so it's a comfortable sound for humans.

hello brother am a new subscriber, watching your videos take me back to my childhood and teeange memories when we were camping for the "boy" and "girl" scouts in my home country, the Philippines; am shocked and elated to see that you have a collection of "California" license plates, am residing now in California for more than 30 years; your videos are amazing and relaxing, they remind me of the time i spent with my now departed father in our small hut in the middle of our ricefield fields during rainy season; i love to be on the countryside as well and be on a getaway trip avoiding the hustle and bustle of the cities, kudos to you and God bless!

While watching this soul warming camping video, I was reflecting on how different a camping setup can be in different places, yet have the same great experience or even better. Kudos to your setup and showing us camping pleasure can be achieved with such a small setup.
It is very convenient to camp without having to take your gear out of the car.

It's always so beautiful with the snow. I hope we have snow where I live this year. We had very little the past two years.
I like camping in the snow because it has a different atmosphere than usual.
The sound of the wood stove echoes in the silence, making it feel very comfortable. 👍

@@Smallbasecamp Ok! small world! My Japanese ex's parents live in a small town in northern Miyagi! It's so peaceful up there. I have also been to Ichinoseki and Geibikei Gorge, back in 2005 :) Thank you for sharing your lovely area, I look forward to seeing more of your videos :) I last visited Miyagi in 2019 with my kids. We stayed at their Japanese grandparents house and also in Zushi, by the beach with my Kiwi friend :) Shohei is a total stud, Japanese baseball players are awesome.
I lived in Aomori Prefecture from ‘92 to ‘95, went to Morioki to fly r/c planes with the local club once. Absolutely fell in love with Japan. I did not want to return to the states! Excellent video!
