Love the description of The Lotus Empire so far! Excited to read it once we get through our reread of the first two books. And I hope you enjoy The Warm Hands of Ghosts! I loved it, Sush loved it, and Becca recently read it and loved it. The Gothic vibes and historical topics so worked for me.
If you haven't tried baby food for the kitties, I highly recommend! Only the meat flavors stage 1 I believe i.e. Gerber Beef, Chicken, Turkey, or Ham. I've used it for dogs and cats for nursing them back to health and stimulating their appetite.

First of all, I hope your cats get better soon! Second, you're making me really interested in the Burning Kingdoms series. Good to hear that the final books of both that and the Terra Ignota series are good so far. This week, I read about 54% of Elantris, which is exciting for me, as it marks the beginning of my journey with Brandon Sanderson and the Cosmere. Today is a holiday here in Brazil, so I'll probably finish the book this weekend. So far, it's been good. I like all the POV characters, the character dynamics are interesting. Stuff is kinda going too easily imo, but it's fine, nothing that really bothers me. And it's definitely a good first book for Brandon Sanderson, unless things go downhill on the latter half of the book. After that, I'll read the 2 short stories/novellas (I don't recall what they are) that are related to Elantris. I might drop some more detailed and spoilery thoughts on discord later (or after I finish the book). But it's been good and I'm really curious to see how Brandon Sanderson evolves as a writer and how he tackles more epic stuff (but that will take me a while, still, since I'll read all of Mistborn before reading Stormlight) Oh, and I almost forgot: I watched the first 3 episodes of season 2 of Arcane and it's a BANGER
I am so nervous and excited for the ending of Perhaps the Stars bc i have never been able to guess the direction or twists ever in this series. Hope Kihrin and Donna get back to feeling more themselves.

I am currently reading Fevered Star and The Winter of the Witch and in regards to watching, I need to get back to Star Trek and The Rings of Power. Also been keeping up with my martial arts training and editing my book. :) Excited for the upcoming videos, end of the year videos and posts are always fun to watch and make.

I feel you on cats - my cat has had health issues this year and it makes me so obsessive and distracted! I finished Silver Nitrate by SMG (liked it) and Tainna by Norma Dunning (meh - liked the story concepts not the writing), so I’m diving into The Charm Offense by Alison Conchrun for some gay romcom vibes

Also, deciding which char to romance on each playthrough is a hardest decision one has to make, out of all the hard decisions these games tend to present players with 😂 I'm currently reading (will probably finish it today) The Alchemist of Loom by Elise Kova and am quite enjoying it. It's kinda steampunk tech vs draconic magic where the whole steampunk society is pan. It's a fantasy romance with slow burn, interesting characters and complex world and mysteries. I was liking it ok, until the love interest actually called out the protagonist on all of the things I was annoyed with, which leveled up my enjoyment tenfold, because it means that the author is aware of the hypocrisies of the MC and has purposely written her to be that way and plans to address them. Which, like, chef's kiss ✨ Additional bonus points that when the said love interest was calling out the MC on her hypocrisy, he was actually being polite and respectful about it, and did not lash out and was being mean in return, even though he inwardly kinda wanted to. I do love me a mature love interest in a story 😌
Aww poor Cats, hope they start feeling better soon. I never was one for shipping characters that much but Dragon Age 4 has really really brought that out in me so much so that Im looking up starting some LGBT romantasy books haha. Totally agree about the Lotus Empire, not too far in but I feel its still very character driven which I like, while I feel the tension of it building to something. I liked but didnt love Warm Hands of Ghosts but I will say I was very intrigued throughout, it trickled enough weird stuff for me to go "oooh tell me more"
