- Certainly! Here are some important safety instructions for driving:
1. Buckle Up: Always wear your seatbelt and ensure that all passengers do the same.
2. Stay Alert: Avoid distractions like texting, and stay focused on the road.
3. Obey Speed Limits: Adhere to posted speed limits and adjust your speed for road conditions.
4. Maintain a Safe Following Distance: Keep a safe distance behind the vehicle in front of you to allow for sudden stops.
5. Use Turn Signals: Signal your intentions when changing lanes or making turns.
6. Observe Traffic Signs and Signals: Follow traffic signals and obey road signs.
7. Don't Drink and Drive: Never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
8. Check Your Blind Spots: Use your mirrors and turn your head to check blind spots when changing lanes.
9. Stay within Your Lane: Maintain your lane discipline and avoid weaving in and out of traffic.
10. Be Mindful of Weather Conditions: Adjust your driving to suit the weather, whether it's rain, snow, or fog.
11. Give Way to Pedestrians: Yield the right of way to pedestrians at crosswalks and intersections.
12. Use Your Horn Sparingly: Honk your horn only to alert other drivers of your presence, not as a form of frustration.
13. Avoid Aggressive Driving: Stay calm and patient, and avoid road rage.
14. Regular Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure your vehicle is well-maintained with working brakes, lights, and tires.
15. Stay Informed About Road Conditions: Be aware of road closures, accidents, or construction on your route.
16. Use Hands-Free Devices: If you need to use your phone, use a hands-free device to minimize distractions.
17. Be Courteous: Show respect and courtesy to other drivers on the road.
18. Plan Your Route: Know your route in advance and have a backup plan in case of unexpected detours.
Remember, safe driving not only protects you but also the people around you. Always prioritize safety on the road.
So I'm guessing that the only "fatal" ones here, were the ones with the poor animals. DIdn't see anything else even close to matching the clickbait title...
Yeah that moo cow didn't make it💁♂️
@Roger-fs5yo that moo cow definitely made it. Into some hamburger buns, maybe even a tortilla.
Depending on certain factors. Some of these could have been fatal.
clickbait winner
Fatal for animals is still fatal lol
People look before you merge, and use your damn mirrors !🙄👎🤨😳
I was a trucker and im not shocked. Youre only surprised if you arent paying attention to those around you. I make it clear to anyone i care about not to trust truckers either, and my wife saw that 1st hand riding with me. We were nearly hit multiple times by other truckers. You dont know whos on their phone, drunk, high, just dgaf, dont understand english etc, but theres far too many on the road driving like that. Seems like half of the truckers out there are dangerous and about 90% of the motorists. I trust truckers more, but at the end of the day i trust no one out there on the road. You can do everything legal and right and have great defensive driving and it still not be enough. I did get hit twice, once by a trucker and once by a Charger at over 100mph. Cleared on both wrecks as non preventable not at fault especially since i had dash cam evidence. Quit last year before some moron succeeded on taking me out and moved to the country away from people. Hardly anyone respects the road or the machines we operate. Many claim to, but what ive seen out there on the road determines that is a lie.
I think a lot of truckers now days just are not experienced enough and companies just throw them out there.
Agreed and well said
My dad was a long hauler for 12 years. My son always wanted to go with in the summer, company was ok with in state runs but Dad didn’t trust it.
5:09 This driver had just exited the Amazon facility behind them, located at 1113 Airport Rd, Wilmington, OH. I showed up just an hour later when they were trying to remove him. That fence is still broken. I don't remember exactly when, but between 2022 and now. I had no idea dashcam footage existed of this.
I remember when they built that facility, I was working out there at that time. Feels like it was just yesterday. How time flies.
I remember when truckers were usually the better drivers..... boy howdy that has changed.
It changed when they went to the CDL rules. It was supposed to make the industry "much safer". That and when and the flip-flop, shorts wearing, what about me generation came along, went to driver training for a few weeks and then set off on their big road adventure.
03:05 Congratulations! You made your exit!
Bad drivers never miss their exit. A good driver will go down to the next exit and turn around
I was wondering why so many trucking companies are going out of business. Now I see why all the insurance claims against them.
Not ALL of these are the truckers fault. Way too many are, but multiple are the fault of other drivers. The first one for example looks like a blatant insurance ripoff attempt. Change lanes (for no obvious reason) into the lane of the truck and going way too slow for an interstate.
Yeah, crazy to see how bad so many of these professional drivers are. Most of these accidents would have never happened if these guys and girls were simply paying attention.
@@chrisanthony579 not all of these are the truckers fault but ok
@@chrisanthony579 so many fucking idiots such as yourself not knowing how heavy trucks are loaded when people pull stupid stunts in front of semi trucks. You just stay in your parents basement fucking loser and shut the fuck up loser
Some truckers speed to like go 70 mph or 75 mph in a 65 mph zone
Sorry for the animals. #Greetings from Brazil!🇧🇷
1:50 the red light runner that got absolutely broadsided has me rolling.
Better title, Truckers falling asleep, driving to fast and running red lights.
Sorry, but quite a few of those accidents were caused by four-wheelers. Yes, there are some that were caused by the truckers, but don’t blame the driver for people cutting them off.
I'm seeing a LOT of operator caused collisions here .
-Nate
truckers driving wayy too fast on half of them lol, and over correcting. 50/50 video though
9 out of 10... Not the truckers fault
Except 9:53 at least . How could you not miss that lane had a blockage that looked like another moron had done the same "must get in front" move but ran into the roadworks warning sign. But no he ploughed on instead of falling back, there was nothing in his mirrors saying he couldn't!
AGREE
Bullshit
bs
I’m a truck driver., this video hurts to watch. Just about every accident here was avoidable, accept the animals in the road., I’ve hit 5 deer in my career, driving at nite, there’s nothing you can do to stop them from running in front of you., but this video showed some extreme incompetence, and lack of safety concerns.
Your size makes you obvious enough to follow and respect. 🫡 Before my cars were impounded by my (bored) local police, to keep the village safe🙄 , l followed trucks in the right lanes… no hurry. Don’t miss driving at all.
The reason why so many videos are showing you blindside hits due to lane changes by truck drivers (even with the fender mounted mirrors) is that many "truck drivers" insist on having their air ride drivers seat all the way down on the floor! This of course make the use of those fender mirrors impossible, as they can no longer be used to see cars in their blind spot because the driver cant even see over the dashboard.
Almost all of the blind side hits were 4 wheelers hitting the truck as for the speed I agree but when you have a computer keeping track of your time and you are paid by how far you gpu in a set amount of time and not paid to sit still what do you think will be the result
Most big trucking companies go out of business because of insurance companies.
That red semi sure does get into a lot of accidents.🤪😜
This is what you get when you hire scabs. My name is Bicycle Bob and I approved this message and I'm 30 years a retired Teamster.
Good job Bob.
I am currently in my 25th year of commercial driving, incident free.
@daveswinfield ironically, I wasn't a driver, but worked in the tradeshow and convention industry in Las Vegas.
Thank you Bob. There are too many unthinking drivers on the road.
@@robertreynolds1044 whos on strike?
@skyh unfortunately all union people consider non union people scabs. As far as I am concerned al unions do today is keep lazy people employed
So, which ones were the “fatal truck accidents”, do you just like being dramatic so that people will click on your videos? None of them were really all that brutal, either, unless you're a moose.
Whats up with the cow on the highways😮😮😮 is there's grass growing on the highway?
In Montana, it is still open range, and cattle do get on the roads.
I think cows just have the intelligence of a brick. There no good reason for them to stand in the middle of a road but damned if they dont do it anyway.
Must be MEADVIEW AZ. That’s nothing new there!
@@psychobeam99 What did bricks ever do to you to insult them? 🤔
Grass is always greener on the other side!
I would say 8 out of 10 of these truck accidents I have to lay blame with the truck driver. Yes there were some people driving cars that absolutely were responsible for the mishaps. But what I'm seeing is that the trucks are going to fast not maintaining safe distance
People just need to know who to drive when they get around a rig Instead playing with your life trying to get insurance money...9 out of 10 not the truckers fault
Most where the cars fault
They act like they dont have brakes or a steering wheel like the rest of us😅 just because they are bigger maybe?
8 out of 10? Which video were you watching? It couldn't have been this one.
@@kenziehansen2424 Physics. 80,000 lbs of mass takes a _mite_ longer to bring to a stop than, say, 3,000.
Big time Twuk Dwiver can't see nothing, don't know there is a brake pedal, No ability to prethink where they are headed, not paying attention to anything. Good Luck.
Not the moose!!
At 2:08...
The truck driver can't see the car that is right there.
Maybe he can see the roof of it. The camera has a better view than the driver.
I'm willing to bet the driver of the car even said, "Well, I had my signal on..."
Don't forget your getting a camera view that's as high and as forward as can be to get the best view. If your a car right next to a truck the only thing a driver can see of you if he's lucky is part of your roof of your car. Truckers get cut off all the time by people that think the trucker even saw them but in fact the trucker never did. Keep that in mind the next time your next to a truck
If it aint RockPhunky it's just truck crashes.
Nobody respects truck drivers anymore
Go look at 10:10, truck drivers are known to be insecure. Gook luck Dee.
Everybody walked away...
Half of these Truckers shouldn't even have a license.
99% of idiots driving have NO business behind the wheel!!
I agree. There is a lot of inattentive driving going on.
and 99% of the car drivers...
@@visualverbs I was just about to say that most of them were the car drivers
What you supposed to when a four wheeler goes right into your lane . Trucks can't stop as fast as them.
At 6:56 it looks like this accident was caused by a small dog running out.
Sure, looks like a lot of inexperience drivers in those trucks.
A few minutes in now and have yet to see anything "brutal" or "fatal". That's just a Tuesday in Dade County
Battle of the Super Truckers.
OMG 😳 truck accidents
Very interesting video, in that the vast majority of these incidents are caused by the truck drivers themselves. Glad to see videos that are finally showing the reality of whats going on out there.
Those aren’t even the trucker’s fault most of the time.
Not sure why you included that one for 1207 because you can’t even see anything!
Statistically, 85% of accidents involving trucks are the fault of car drivers. You only hear about the 15% on the news. All 3 of my accidents were caused by car drivers. One guy tried to pass behind me as I'm backing to a warehouse door. The woman merging never looked in her mirror (have that one on dashcam) and then panic stopped when she realized I was there. The last guy was drunk and rear-ended me while I was waiting for a left turn signal. This at 10am on a Sunday morning, the fucknut was still in his pajamas when he totaled his land yacht.
The simplest rule I can possibly give everyone reading this comment: "DON'T F*CK WITH TRUCKS! THEY WILL ALWAYS WIN!"
In one door and a few days later out the other with an AZ License 😮😂 hahahaha
Drivers with cameras are the worst drivers
Ahh yes, the entrance to the George Washington bridge. A nightmare everyday. The one that almost rolled on rt 30 neat cash town pa, that was close. Lucky it didn't roll in my friends front yard at that intersection
I’ve been driving across America for over 40 years,, TRUCKING and I’ve never been in an accident that was my fault….. praise Jesus
So many defenders of truck drivers here. Yes, absolutely, there are many instances where bad pov drivers do stupid things and earn stupid prizes. But several of these were from truckers not checking our notorious blind spots before changing lanes. There is a reason those fender mirrors exist. Seriously, if you didn't notice a pov slowly passing you in the lane to your right or if you forgot they were there then you shouldn't be driving an 80,000 lbs. truck in the first place. Drop your speed a few mph before making that lane change to let any unseen pov pass harmlessly out of your way. I promise it won't hurt your time. And continuing to drive at twice the speed of traffic while splitting lanes is just begging fate to let you unalive someone. Because you know, you KNOW some impatient driver is going to pull out in front of you and you won't be able to stop. I can't count the number of times I've been in this exact scenario but avoided an accident because I slowed down. Reducing speed and anticipating other driver's mistakes when driving through tight traffic would have prevented a lot of these accidents as well. No excuse for hitting a stationary object on the side of the road, none. You are in command of your rig and it is your responsibility to traverse from point A to point B as safely as possible. A cow in the middle of a dark highway at night is just bad luck. Nothing you can do about that except take it on the chin. I've hit six deer with only minor damage...luck was on my side. We ALL need to take our driving seriously. Inattentive driving these days has gotten ridiculous, especially with the cell phones. Well enough of my ranting...drive safe.
Regional truck driver here …… definitely agree with you. Most of the clips were truck drivers not keeping good distance and driving too fast. Or drivers just failing to maintain control of their rig
You don’t have a clue what it takes for a big truck to move over when someone is drifting into their lane….take a closer look and you’ll see that not many are at fault…..did you know there is a complete blind spot where they lose sight of you and you should never hang in there when passing do it and get on the road….my other half drove truck for 35 years and I went with him a lot….there is no room for distraction but there will always be someone doing just that….accidents is not the driving force for companies going out of business ….look at the other side of that coin and you will understand what is going on with companies…
person was ejected. as to be expected.
Some people don't belong as truck drivers. The idea is to avoid an accident not try and be in one.
And people are afraid of “driverless” cars. 🤦🏻♂️
People must think that rear view mirrors are only decorations. Good grief people, use your mirrors!
What i mostly saw was bad truck drivers who maybe should not be driving a truck. I know some wrecks are unavoidable but now days there is to much phone use texting. Me driving a truck i never was involved in any crash the main reason was i have always drove for all the traffic around me never letting my guard down.
5:34 turned him into ground beef real quick
Imagine your one job is to drive, and you can’t even do it
Just so everybody knows, most of these drivers were probably on their phone. It's only going to get worse!
7:36 anyone can run the HOV lane on the way to the George Washington Bridge before 7am so if that was the time of day he was in the right to do so. I do it all the time cause no one knows how to read as it states the times right on the sign. Box truck was just being a dick
Car drivers dont understand how trucks cant brake as fast as them
Wow beamNG is looking great💯
all of these accidents were because of stupidity. Some of them were on the trucker. Most of them were on the cars
Wow, I watched a whole 40 seconds to realize it's not brutal at all that's all you get of my time.
6:00…..great video of the sky👌
Most of these drivers in these videos should be On a bicycle or walking , not in a big truck. Either way most of these people shouldn't be driving.
2020s American trucks with 1970s brakes 😵💫
People need to see that truckers speed sometimes to
Most of these car drives should never have a drives license
The first one could be on the trucker. Depends on the state.
13:00 If you're gonna go out, leave them guessing 😂
There is reason why in most places trucks are banned on fast lanes. Or left lanes in this case
Yes, there is. That reason is because FMCSA requires trucks to be electronically limited to 65 mph. This, contrary to their claims of making the roads safer, makes it more dangerous overall. I have driven trucks before. And driving my car down freeways can get plain scary around trucks, because, with their max speed being anywhere from 10 to 15 mph below the speed limit, you roll up on the quick.
oh my god
9:35 Looks like he wasn't the first one to leave the road at this exact spot.
Don't know how dumb people can be to mess with a big rig or not know one is on the road they can't stop on a dime wake up people
Sound?
Wow. There sure are a lot of piss poor truck drivers in this video!!!!!
it appears the general truck videos show the trucker at fault where the videos from truckers themselves shows others at fault.
Can't see any "OMG Very Brutal & Fatal Truck Accidents"
I guess slowing down in inclimate weather is a stupid idea!
As usual I notice a lot of these are from NC
Sound fellas. Sound
no sound, no thanks.
Stop looking at your phone. Count to 5at every merge. Amazing how much 5sec is.
yeah I'm a big time truck driver, and we move the country lol lol way to many cowboys on the roads today that should not be
So when did the teamsters offer Bicycle riding in their companies?
Yeah no these arent "brutal and fatal." Ill subscribe when your videos have to come with a graphic warning cause these arent fatal
The cow at 5:00 didn't make it.
3:00 but I had my turn signal on for my illegal maneuver.
Seems like some of these truckers were going to fast
Truckers all go to fast. Slow down d f
I don't know what video's your watching. It's not the trucker in the wrong. It's stupid 4 Wheeler's doing stupid things..
so...... not paying attention, falling asleep , and animals.
no audio,, so "Road Runner" was playing in my minds' ear
How about Pacman sounds!
Whacka Whacka Berurururu!🤭😋
@3:10
Lay up comment of the year: well, he made his exit huuurrrr
I think people are just getting dumber, because I don’t remember people driving as stupid as they do today when I first got my L back in the early 2000s, at least not to the extent I see on the road these days. a lot of people these days let their ego outweigh their intelligence.
I was just gona say that all the drivers could have prevented the accident that was the truckers fault they all should never be allowed to drive again
i had no sound
What is the point of a silent video........................
Damn.., that poor cow..
You keep showing the animals and you get a thumbs down every time!
How many points for a Moose??💀😑
5:26 (FATAL WARNING) oh dear
It's not your road It's MINE get out of the way.
I can almost guarantee the ethnicity of the truck drivers driving into stopped cars and driving off the road..👳♀️
Saia drivers are some of the worst drivers ever!
