I'm not a person who often leaves comments, but this song is so relatable. I've been in love with someone for about two years, but I hesitate to tell him. Sometimes it hurts me so much because I know that my love is hopeless. I have wanted to tell him several times, but each time I put off my confession. Finally, I'm going to talk to him in a few months. I don't hope that my feelings will be reciprocated, but I wish there were no secrets between us, because our paths will soon part, probably forever.

Honestly, I put off my confession for over six months and finally spoke to this person only a month ago. At the time of writing my first comment, I didn't know yet that he had a girlfriend as he didn't talk about it. I found out completely by accident and that's why I decided to delay my confession even further as I didn't want to create any awkward situations. So I continued to love him further, but naturally made no attempt to talk about it. A month ago we had a sort of farewell event for friends where everyone comes up to each other, says nice words and each tied a ribbon to the other as a memento. It's a tradition that's repeated year after year, and it's usually a time for honest and sincere conversations. We've been good friends for a few years now, so I went up to him, tied a ribbon and thanked him for all the fun memories. And then told him that I've loved him for over two years now. Naturally, he didn't reciprocate my feelings, but I didn't expect him to. We talked some more, and he said that I was a good and kind person, and he was glad he knew me, but he only sees me as a friend. We parted as friends, so it's all good. Maybe we'll meet again one day, who knows. I'm glad I confessed, as I can now move on with my life with peace of mind knowing I didn't leave any secrets in the past. I feel good and I leave only happy memories of this person and my love for him
