    Her dad is so handsome. Gotta love the dads who help with home updates 💪.

    Lowes $25 for one gallon of Kilz blue label primer. Home Depot $30 for 2 gallon bucket Kilz blue label primer. That is really the only money saving tip I have to share so far with this one. Keep up the good work.

      @@RoseRenovations While you are at Home Depot, Wooster 9" Paint roller (green handle) and the 2 foot to 4 foot wooster GT paint pole is my absolute "Go-To" favorite. It has a quick release feature that is really wonderful to use in combination with my Handy paint tray (red) and Handy cut in bucket (get the one with the black adjustable handle). You can slide your hand into it, and it comfortably sits in your hand. No hand cramps, no muscle fatigue, no gripping the handle.
      The Idaho Painter (Paint Life TV) has some excellent videos on cutting in with a brush. Watch a couple of videos, and you will be cutting in with a brush twice as fast, and you won't have to tape off with blue painters tape anymore.
      If you need to paint with the windows closed (cold weather), use Sherwin Williams Promar 200 Low/No VOC. Promar 200 is a contractor grade paint that hides previous colors very well with two coats, and it is wonderful to paint with because it flows beautifully. I recommend using the Purdy soft brush (yellow and green label).

    Hey I know this is out of your scope of practice but can you make a review on the Ecotank printer?
    I’m asking for a friend

    • @RoseRenovations
      @RoseRenovations  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Haha sure. It’s excellent. It’s good for like if you need every day printing. If you’re running a business and need professional documents I don’t know if I’d recommend it, but for the average Joe I would. I’ve had it for a year and a half and have done hundreds of pages of printing. I still have tons of ink left. It’s great for when you don’t want to spend an arm and a leg on ink. I had to get rid of my cannon printer because of that. Costco sells these printers. I got one at Best Buy for $100. The ink at Costco is supposed to last I think like 5 years? 🤔 and it’s only $50. My mom has had hers for years and it’s the same situation for hers. She loves it.

    You asked about that plug, did it melt? and, Yes! it melted
    The Fire Dept are always warning about those types of plugs as they cause fires (sometimes catastrophic)

    • @RoseRenovations
      @RoseRenovations  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      😬 that’s WILD with a plastic plug??I thought that it was safer

    • @carliem9494
      @carliem9494 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@RoseRenovations 🤷‍♀️ they get hot, they melt (like you discovered), if it gets hot enough, it’ll melt the insulation on the wiring, or if that has degraded over time (why there’s the suggestion to rewire at least every 15/20 years), or there’s a loose connection in the socket (which happens more easily than you’d think with the jiggling of pulling plugs in and out), it’ll generate enough to heat to start a fire (rather than just melt the prongs on the plug) which will whizz up through the wiring systems.
      Not wanting to alarm you (and I’m sure it’ll prove to be fine) but also wanting you to be safe, at the very least, I’d get that socket checked over, as it’s melted the prong on that plug

    Cool video and all, I like your personality and editing style but the video would have been better if you actually had finished plastering and painting... Kinda felt a bit like a waste of time to watch a 10 minute video of someone only plastering ONE wall.

      Totally understand. This is all a process, and I am a one woman show. I got called into work a lot this week and simply ran out of time. I film and renovate and edit and work my normal job as I go and sometimes I run out of time. This week was one of those weeks 🤷🏼‍♀️
