- July 9, 2024 stream, playing FTL on hard difficulty with NO pausing! For those who missed it, our cycle streak finally ended least weak with a very difficult Zoltan C run on phase 2 of the boss...sad! However, this gives us an opportunity to take a break from streaking and try some different challenges. So today, we are trying what I like to call "as intended" runs where we play an FTL ship and try to win with what we think the developers intended for any particular ship. And since Stealth A starts with no shields...can we win on hard mode, NO pause playing Stealth A with no shields?!? -- Watch live at / rand118

That was exactly how my Stealth B no shield run ended. I did pull it off with Steath A when I opted for Drones instead of Teleporter. Drone Recovery Arm and a free Hull Repair Drone carried the run.
I did something similar to this with Slug B, I never bought a clone bay or a medbay and just used the heal bomb. It was a pretty fun time, I was able to get Hacking, mind control, cloaking and boarding, which meshed well with the heal bomb.
