The fact that this movie works on so many levels just shows why it's a masterpiece and still effects people to this day. Not only does it work as a horror film and a science fiction film but it mainly works so well as a romance film and that relationship between Seth and Veronica is what brings all of the raw emotion and tragedy to the overall story and this has some of the best acting ever in a horror film.
