In Liverpool UK, there is a organisation called Zero Waste and in most locations you have to book your bag at 7am in the morning to pick up at 9 or 10 that night. This is solely to prevent food from going to the waste bins and the same, buy by date is normally that day. But the bags are HUGE. 151bs approx, and also you can take as much bread as you want extra and limited cakes, sandwiches, jars etc. On a saturday morning you can collect as much fruit and veg as you can carry. How much does this cost? Nothing, zero, nada, zilch. All totally free. You could in theory live off it for a week at a time
In my town in the Netherlands Too Good Too Go is AWESOME. The bakeries usually have stuff, the grocery stores all do it, and some restaurants and hotels. We've gotten SO much good stuff. We usually split it with our neighbor
I have owned a few businesses. The expiration date on food is just a shelf life date. Once you purchase the item it is actually good for many months to many years, depending on what you buy.
I live in Harrisburg PA and we only have 2-3 places available currently. I ordered once from Edible Arrangements and got a bag of kale, a bag of diced pineapple, and a bag of random chocolate-dipped fruits for $9.99. I ordered another time from the local Italian bakery but they canceled my order saying there was no food to save that day! Good thing for them, but I was looking forward to my surprise! Thanks for the fun video as always Melissa! Glad those cars didn't get into an accident behind you lol
Here in Spain we have big stores "too good to go" u can order it in the morning, online and pick it up when u go from work, the stores have a meat section, fruit/ vegetables section, grocery section and a baking section, 1 or 2 items from each section for 3,99 €, nearly the same in $..I u live alone, its genial, and saving money and no food waste
I’ve used ‘too go to go’ in the UK loads of times. I’ve used it for a local bakery and for high street coffee shops! It’s nice to have a mystery bag and it’s always worth the money! ❤
We have this app in the UK. I have used it many times as some of our local bakeries and also supermarkets. The last one I got for £3.30 had a chocolate muffin, 2 cupcakes, 1 cookie monster, 1 steak and ale pie, 1 cheese and bacon wrap, and a danish. Last year I got one which was full of sandwiches. Restaurants also offer cooked breakfasts in a morning and then hot meals on a night for around £5 of less. It is really good value. We do not pay tax on top of our prices.
What a great idea and a great value! So fun 🤩 I mean the prices at the grocery stores are out of control so maybe they are just doing this to see how it goes.
In the Boston area we have a lot of bakeries that are on this app, and at the end of the night they give you a bag to fill up, and most give a free coffee also!
We have too good to go in Scotland we have had for years now with more places joining all the time. From local bakeries and butchers to supermarkets. The Co-Op also donate to local charities and nurseries rather than food being thrown out as waste. It’s a great idea. We also gave an app where local people who gave food that is good but they don’t want can post for others to pick up. Great when you are going away on holiday
Check out your grocery stores that fix food to go. They do a muck bang mystery bag that feed you both. And it's complete meals. Some place do it. It cost more but for a complete meal it is really reasonable.
I've never used it myself in the UK but my daughter's friend bought a bag once and they gave her a small box of items and the value we worked out was in the £30's! Great app to use if your near any of the shops that do these deals x
We've got too good to go here in NY. It's great for the local bagel shop. Usually over a dozen bagels, which we throw in the freezer. It's a great deal.
The "out with the old, in with the new" is very much a food safety rule called FIFO: First in, first out. And sometimes there just isn't room for all the new before the old is used. 🤷
With it being so hot in Florida, you should have a cooler with those solid ice things you put in the freezer, then they last for a long time in a cooler. Have to be aware of food poisoning.
Hi my daughter and I get the too good to go here in West Yorkshire England 🇬🇧 we have had some amazing things we get 2 and share them between us and anything we don't fancy she gives them to her neighbour we love them ty for sharing ❤️
That Chex mix pizza is so good. Each piece is a different flavor. I will eat the whole bag in one sitting if I'm not paying attention. They have a couple of other new flavors if you want to search them out. I've been wanting to try the too good to go, nobody does it near me yet, maybe in another year. I'm surprised it wasn't more like restaurant leftovers.
Here in NJ we have restaurants that do too good to go. At least at the Jersey Shore. We have yet to be disappointed with our purchases. Big Thumbs up!!!
😍Thank you Malissa for this fun video👍❣My husband and I loved it. ❤You always give us great fun in your videos😁 The food looked good but it was the palm trees out the window while you were driving🌴🌴🌴
I just checked to see if there any businesses that participated in my town. Unfortunately only one business does. It’s a bakery and it’s kind of far. 😢 it sounds so cool.
I love Too Good to Go! I also live in Florida (further south than you do), and my favorite gluten-free bakery participates. I always try to get a bag of goodies, and the baked goods can be frozen for later.
Definitely different and maybe as a fun thing to do once in a while. Will have to check and see if there are participating places near me. I think most places here give their expiring stuff to food banks and shelters but will check out.
I've used too good to go here in the UK and it's a good idea and saves on waste. Got a mystery bag from my local cafe and it was lovely. A lot better than it going in the bin.
Hi Melissa. We have it here too. We have so much stores on it. Supermarkets, restaurants etc. sometimes a theepakiet or coffee or pasta. Really good. Did you ever here from foodello? I don't know if you have there. But that is a discount supermarket. Really good. You had a good deal. Everything what is almost expired or the product get a new packet. That is why you can bye it cheap. And for the restaurants. Everything what they make this day. You can be it for cheap. Have a great day. Byebye 👋
In Manchester we have Too good to go, I get lots of little bags from groceries to sandwiches and cakes!! It’s a great idea and who doesn’t love a mystery bag??!! 😂😂
Omg Melissa, thank you so much.... i downloaded the app and will be picking up dinner and dessert less than $20. Let's see what we get....will update you tomorrow if it was worth it
Like others have said, we have this app in the uk. In my area of Leeds, we can get carvery meats and pub food, Costa and Starbucks things plus grocery items. It’s brilliant!
Good idea! Depending on what it costs in petrol for u to drive all around to get them i know its wouldn't be worth it in Australia where I live as petrol isn't cheap 😊
We also have this app in the UK - I’ve never used it but my friend has and got some great stuff! I think they only do fresh stuff here though that would literally have to be thrown away not packaged snacks. You did so well with these! 👏🏻
Hi Melissa, I've been using the 2g2g app since 2021 in Glasgow uk. I dont drive so limited on where i can buy from, but I've saved 64 bags in total. My best have been from a pizza manufacturer and received 30, 12" fresh pizzas. I shared them out between my parents' neighbours and my friends, then froze the rest. It can be hit or miss, ive had a few bags ive had to get tefunds on as they wouldnt have even made the "bag price" with what the actual price of the items were but 2g2g were very helpful and received the funds back quicker than anticipated. Thank you for sharing your bags with us. Xx
@TheCheapChick I'm sure more will join, especially with exposure of the app from vlogs like your own. It's fantastic if you can get 1 meal from each bag. I found your channel from your temu vlogs and want to say a massive "Thank you" to yourself for testing out all the items you do as it's hard to judge something online and ive also started a wee jewellery business after seeing all your earrings and you ideas from previous vlogs. Xxx
This would be good way for homeless or low income people to get something to eat. I've always thought it's ridiculous for restaurants and other places to throw away food daily that could feed someone in need.
They are items that they probably aren't going to continue to have on the shelf. So it's Easter then having a clearance section or to have it hold shelf space.
What a cool app! Unfortunately there isn’t ant Too Good To Go here in Massachusetts sadly. But seems like a lot snacks and fast food, I heard Alaric is a pert of the app too.
Thanks for showing us what’s new for you. I did chuckle who got the tuna sandwich for dinner lol They throw out so much in date foods snacks etc as they’re restocking all the time n shelves have to be emptied. I only know by watching a dumpster diving lady in Philadelphia who donates 99% to charity. It’s atrocious how much good food would go to waste by big shops. Mind you some stores open a lot of stuff too with is abysmal. Glad you rescued things whilst having fun too. Have a nice weekend 🤣👏👍🏻☺️❣️
I've never heard of this. We are in North Carolina and live walking distance to a Circle K. They had two bags available. My kid is SO excited to go pick them up! We think this could be a fun thing to do while we are traveling.
Wow, that’s really cool. I don’t think they have anything like that in Rhode Island now I wonder maybe I’ll look it up. Awesome as usual Melissa love you, girl.❤❤❤❤
We have too good to go here in ireland for the last 2yrs. Only supermarkets like Aldi, Lidl, Tesco etc and maybe cake shops participate with left over food at the end of the day. Most items are fresh food that s gone out of date each day and it varies. The few times I got them the food was not edible or you got multiples of bread or lettuce etc. Not worth the hassle most of the time. We definitely didn't get crisps or sweets in packets
My cousin lives in Texas and they have awesome restaurants...bread stores she has like 30 different places to choose from and they love it I live in Florida and all we have is Krispy cream donuts and a bagel store not many to choose from !!
I just downloaded that app last week. Circle k is always doing this by my shell. They say they don't expire necessarily that day, but the food like next day or so. Like you said they want to keep freshest so sell these cheap. So I'll try next week. Ours are 3.99 too in Chicago burbs. Thanks for doing this. Perfect timing. Love your videos. Of course your Italian. What part is your family from. You look just like my cousin. I'm half Sicilian other side from Naples.
That was so cool!! It'd be great if you didn't have to travel too far, I mean with the gas prices?!? But also what a wonderful way to maybe get some food for families in need or homeless people you pass on the street. There's a lot of comments from people in other countries, I hope it becomes more of a practice here in the US. I did see an advertisement for a company that takes 'weird' looking vegetables and fruits and sells them cheaper than going to the store to get a 'perfect' looking produce. The items all look misshaped and apparently stores wont take them unless they look perfect....product body shaming!! That's not a thing, but it's what it sounds like. Thanks for sharing this Melissa....you're a trooper!! And we love you 🥰
I found that app a few months ago and there was not much near me but I ended up getting Krispy Kreme when I visited a different area I happened to be in and it was good. There was a small upscale grocery store I did but a bag from but I didn’t think I was worth the $5. There are now some Circle K available near me so I will be getting a bag from them now that I’ve seen what you got. 😁
I'm down at exit 4 on the parkway in New Jersey. My better half found out about that app a couple months ago and there was ONE place anywhere near us that was participating. Luckily it was a Bagel place and it was I want to say like $7 for that place and we got a bag full of bagels that were still very fresh and well it IS NJ so ofc they were super yummy! You did have to arrange a time, I believe it was between 1 to 2pm.
I think circle K bags are good as an affordable lunch option. Im in Florida also and i tried a few in my local area. I doubt the selection will change much as it is gas station so food options are limited. I want to get one of the Whole Foods bags but they sell out as soon as they are posted by me.
There was a place by me that made the best soups! They were always in the too good to go app. I ate so much soup lol. I usually bought a meal too :) or if they had 3 bags available I may or may not have bought 3 lol they closed and now I'm sad
We have this in Canada. Where I live they have a lot of places who are part of it. There are restaurants, bakeries and all of our 7-Elevens are part of it (7-Eleven is like circle K). I haven't tried them, but might have to now. You got a lot for a good price. 😅
I've been buying from Too Good To Go since last fall. But we mostly get Tiffs Treats (fabulous cookies) and Small Cakes. They just added Whole Foods, but those are almost impossible to get. Circle K is not an option here yet. I love Too Good to Go.
I work at a store and we pull stuff that expires within 30 days from the 1st of the month and mark it down to a reduced price. (Shelf stable items). We also mark down or donate items that will be discontinued in the store.
I live in Northampton England I have been using the to good to go app for about a year and a half and it really good but you do have to be quick as it can go in minutes lol
Whatever the time is for when you can place an order for tomorrow you usually have to be there right at that time to have a chance at getting stuff usually .
Those breakfast sandwiches can be frozen. I think that's a great deal. I checked immediately if we had that around here by getting the app. We do not. Sucks but this is really cool!

We need a program like that here in the USA for the homeless.
Omg that is amazing! I love that concept so much. Usa needs to adopt that.
So sad that here in the U.S they would rather throw food away instead of doing something like this.
Amazing!!!!!
@@Mama_Bear2017yeah, I guarantee lots of horrible people would have lawsuits!!
Man wish we had this around here, so much food waste in grocery stores while some people have a hard time buying food …this is such a good idea!
I work in a bakery and we just started too good to go. It helps us keep our products fresh.
In my town in the Netherlands Too Good Too Go is AWESOME. The bakeries usually have stuff, the grocery stores all do it, and some restaurants and hotels. We've gotten SO much good stuff. We usually split it with our neighbor

Oh wow! That's so awesome! I love it.
Some stores pull dates 3 weeks out. That's why you have some for September.
Oh wow! Thanks for the info.
In Canada we have flash food and a couple of others near where I live.
What a great idea and a great value! So fun 🤩 I mean the prices at the grocery stores are out of control so maybe they are just doing this to see how it goes.

Melissa what a great idea to test out! I’m looking forward to another run!
Just remember to take an ice chest so you can keep the prepared food cool. You don't want to get food poisoning.
I have a fridge at work and other than that I'm heading right home.
Thanks for sharing this with us. I used it today. Went to California Fish Grill and they gave me 6 sides. I only paid $5.40! Amazing!!!
It's definitely worth it !!!! Loved this new spin ❤❤ Like , you guys are set on breakfast and snacks .
I love Too Good to Go! I also live in Florida (further south than you do), and my favorite gluten-free bakery participates. I always try to get a bag of goodies, and the baked goods can be frozen for later.
I used it for the first time Thursday for krispy creame. It was great. It was 5.73 a dozen here. They made it right in front of me.
Love this video Melissa!!!!
Hi Melissa, I haven’t heard about that in Florida. I’m gonna have to check it out.
Hey! I hope they have it in your area.
Definitely different and maybe as a fun thing to do once in a while. Will have to check and see if there are participating places near me. I think most places here give their expiring stuff to food banks and shelters but will check out.
That’s really interesting. I’m glad you’re willing to check out some different things to show us. Thank you.
I googled this, but there is nothing like this here. BOO! This would be great!
It's such a smart, fun snack or meal.. fun fun😊
I've used too good to go here in the UK and it's a good idea and saves on waste. Got a mystery bag from my local cafe and it was lovely. A lot better than it going in the bin.
Oh yes totally! So glad rob showed me this.
So glad you did this. I just downloaded the ap and would like to try it soon
That was fun.. loved the mystery bags!
I totally agree!
Hi Melissa. We have it here too. We have so much stores on it. Supermarkets, restaurants etc. sometimes a theepakiet or coffee or pasta. Really good. Did you ever here from foodello? Yep, the UK has a similar programme. It's nice to see it here too.
You need to tell us how you and rob liked them if they taste good
In Manchester we have Too good to go, I get lots of little bags from groceries to sandwiches and cakes!! It’s a great idea and who doesn’t love a mystery bag??!! 😂😂
Vegetarians? 😂

We also have this app in the UK - I’ve never used it but my friend has and got some great stuff! I think they only do fresh stuff here though that would literally have to be thrown away not packaged snacks. You did so well with these! 👏🏻
I had no clue this was in other countries. That's awesome!
Xx
Hey! That is so awesome! I hope more stores or restaurants join here. Such a great idea.
What a cool app! Unfortunately there isn’t ant Too Good To Go here in Massachusetts sadly. But seems like a lot snacks and fast food, I heard Alaric is a pert of the app too.
Oh dang! I was just about to check if it was available in MA, too!
I have enjoyed this service. Times are different for pick-up. Portland Oregon
Awesome ideas..good stuff❤
Hey Melissa, I just got the app, and I am excited!! I'm in Bradenton, and there is a decent variety and a whole lot of Circle K. Thanks for the info.
Really appreciated this. I would love to know what is in a Whole Foods mystery bag and a Jersey Mike's mystery bag.
This is really cool; I had never heard of it. I downloaded the app and will try it out. Wish they had Circle K included, but I didn't see any listed.
That really is such a waste. I'm happy Rob told me about this.
I've never heard of this. We are in North Carolina and live walking distance to a Circle K. They had two bags available. My kid is SO excited to go pick them up! We think this could be a fun thing to do while we are traveling.
Great Lunch plus snacks.
Those would make fantastic lunches or dinner for one.
That's so cool. I'm going to see if I have that in my area!
If you're on vacation, you could stop in a town and get a cheap snack while driving!
OMG!!!! I love this deal I'm gonna see if they are here in Alton Illinois
I've been trying this for a few weeks seen it on insta and get the bread and bakery stuff even crumble cookie it's a great deal
What a great idea, wish Mississippi did this.
Wow, that’s really cool. I don’t think they have anything like that in Rhode Island now I wonder maybe I’ll look it up. Awesome as usual Melissa love you, girl.❤❤❤❤
They do have too good to go in Providence!! Not sure if it’s made it all throughout RI yet, but definitely in and around Providence for sure!
We have too good to go here in ireland for the last 2yrs. Only supermarkets like Aldi, Lidl, Tesco etc and maybe cake shops participate with left over food at the end of the day. If you take a picture you can blow it up to see what the date, maybe. They might use a code instead. Fun video
Well that was so interesting! Definitely a bargain. These days, a sandwich can cost $5-6, and little bags of chips $2.
That was so cool!! It'd be great if you didn't have to travel too far, I mean with the gas prices?!? But also what a wonderful way to maybe get some food for families in need or homeless people you pass on the street. I use this app all the time based in uk i use it at greggs and other restaurant mainly caffe shops buts so goo ands saves waste 😊
Love your food videos
It's a great idea to safe from from going to waste
How did the food taste? Love your videos.
Wow that was a good deal for all the stuff! Some of those items alone are expensive, like that charcuterie at wawa is 8$
Rob knows you so well!! Now let’s see the mystery bags you got 👏👏👏🫠☺️
I know right! I went the day after he told me. Lol
I think circle K bags are good as an affordable lunch option. Im in Florida also and i tried a few in my local area. I doubt the selection will change much as it is gas station so food options are limited. I want to get one of the Whole Foods bags but they sell out as soon as they are posted by me.
How fun!!! I hope you don’t wait a month!!!!!
So glad you enjoyed it. I'm for sure doing an update on this.
There was a place by me that made the best soups! They were always in the too good to go app. I ate so much soup lol. I usually bought a meal too :) or if they had 3 bags available I may or may not have bought 3 lol they closed and now I'm sad
They won't sell or give away on last day of expiration dates. They usually start a month before exp date. What a great deal
Ya they’re still making money!
I get 2 from my bagel store and then freeze them great deal
We have this in Canada. Where I live they have a lot of places who are part of it. There are restaurants, bakeries and all of our 7-Elevens are part of it (7-Eleven is like circle K). I haven't tried them, but might have to now. You got a lot for a good price. 😅
Thanks did my first order LOVE
This is cool. I wonder if we have those in GA
I’m in the UK, some towns are really good for this App.. but not many near me.
That stinks it's not near you.
Very cool! I downloaded app but everything sold out. Didn’t know it was so popular. ❤
Whatever the time is for when you can place an order for tomorrow you usually have to be there right at that time to have a chance at getting stuff usually .
@@shari9721 good to know, thank you!
Everything but the tuna sandwich.. we have stores like that in Kalona Iowa, you just have to be careful
Those breakfast sandwiches can be frozen. I think that's a great deal. I checked immediately if we had that around here by getting the app. We do not. Sucks but this is really cool!
Those were all good for four bucks! That stuffs expensive in the gas stations!
