Thank you for your wonderful, positive energy videos and great information! Our teenage daughter was diagnosed in the spring of 2023 with Addison's. She was very sick last fall and winter. It's been a tumultuous emotional journey for our family. She's doing so much better, and we're so grateful. I recently discovered your videos and I'm passing your link to our daughter. I know she'll be inspired by you. We just want to help & support her in any way we can. Thank you for creating your videos. Wishing you well!

@erinreinhart9618 thank you deeply for your kind words! Addison’s is definitely a journey, but you all are not alone! There is an amazing community out there and a wealth of information! NADF has recently started a teen support group, that might be something your daughter may be interested in. There’s also a caregiver group as well that many parents gather together virtually. Please feel free to reach out or let her know to reach out at anytime, always happy to help to the best my my ability. She can also reach out via Instagram if she’s like, I’m a bit more active and quick to respond over there : @simplyseasprite
Sending you all lots of light and love on your journey!

I got Addison’s disease and I’m not on any medication. I’ve been trying to heal it and get better on my own and it’s not getting any better. I’m exhausted and very tired. I have no energy to function and live in normal life. I’m hoping and praying that when I go back to see my primary doctor, they’re gonna help me with some medication like you, how much steroids do you take?

@@SheilaMore-l4v unfortunately if you have Addison’s disease (primary adrenal insufficiency) that is the complete destruction of the adrenal glands and there is no recovery of them. Steroid replacement is the only way to manage the condition, but as it’s a replacement, you’re only taking the minimum amount your body needs, which is different for everyone. I personally take 20mg a day spread throughout the day. Do you have an endocrinologist you’re working with? 🙏❤️🥄
