- Andy and Lisa Wyrick are concerned, their four year old daughter Heidi has two imaginary playmates; "Mr. Gordy," an elderly man who pushes her on the swing, and "Con," a younger man Heidi describes as "missing an arm and covered with blood." When Lisa tells a neighbour of Mr. Gordy and Con, she is astonished to learn that the two men once lived in the area, and they're both deceased.

I’ve been a nurse in ICU and hospice. We had a poor old soul, end stage everything, had a history of strokes and dementia. I was getting ready to go home after an uneventful nightshift, and I went in to tell the patient I was leaving. The patient said, “My grandpa is here. He said my brother is coming.” I told him I was glad he was going to have company, ad went into the hallway. His daughter and wife were walking up the hall, and I stopped to pass on what the patient had said. They both burst into tears. When the patient’s only brother had died, he said his grandfather was standing at the foot of the bed. The grandpa had raised both boys after their parents had died in a car accident. When I went back to work that night, the patient had passed just a couple of hours after I went home, telling his wife and daughter that his grandpa said it was time to go. I hope when it’s my time, someone who loved me is standing at the foot of my bed, holding out a hand and telling me it’s time to go.

When my 3 yr old nephew was in his last hours of life at St Jude, his mother (my sister) noticed that his eyes were darting around the room as if he was seeing things. At one point he said to his mom that "Jesus isn't here yet". When my sister related that info to the nurse, the nurse replied that she had seen that happen many times before...

When I was 25 I went to a psychic for the first time. She told me that I had three children , two in the physical & one in the spiritual. I looked at her confused because I had two children ,not 3 .

Well my youngest Son had my first Grandchild & I felt such a deep connection to him even before he was born. I figured it was because it was my first grandchild. But when he was handed to me for the first time I had this overwhelming feeling of familiarity
& deep connection to him. I was in Love instantly! Then he moved & I saw his neck ! He had a tiny mole the left side of his neck!!!! Then he looked right at me & stared & I knew I just knew he was the soul of the daughter I lost!
He's three & I have such a bond with him! Sometimes I feel bad because he will cry for me & not his Mommy or my Son & there's no consoling him until I come. I can't tell you how many nights I had to go over to their house & put him to bed or calm him down,, because he only wanted me.
I have never told my daughter in law ,whom I love dearly ,because I wouldn't want to hurt her or my Son. I'm Mimi & he has my whole heart💙💙💙
thats a beautiful story. I love it. I went to a medium after my husband had passed. He told her he was on the other side with "all of these babies" and I was here with all of our other babies. See, we had three children together, but I had five miscarriages before he passed away and we conceived our third while trying for another baby. It was a sad period of our life. It took a major toll on us, but when she told me that, I knew they were all ok and I will be with them all one day.

My daughter had an "imaginary" friend. His name was Jackie. She told us that he had died. Her story never changed about his age, where he lived, how he passed away etc. When she was 5, she stopped talking about him and said he went back to his house and she never spoke about him again.
We moved to a town about 3000kms for work (we live in Australia hence the long distance lol) and a couple of years later, we had another daughter. When this daughter was around 3 years old, she was chatting away, like she was playing with someone in her room. I went in and she was alone...
I asked who she was talking to and she said "I'm talking to my friend, Jackie!"

Educated people means they know how to work on doing assignments (paperwork) or any task diligently and a great problem solver. It is proven by their certificate. However, you could get the same results by experience too. Heck now that we have nearly every single knowledge readily available online 24/7, sometimes it makes me wonder whether the paper is sooner or later becoming worthless?
There's no often about it, they're not the same thing. Wisdom comes with age and experience. Unfortunately, you can't learn age or experience, you have live through them.

This story is bone chilling. I have a 3 year old and one day my wife and I heard her talking to someone so we went to check but no one was there. My daughter said it was a little girl named Janie. This went on for about 2 weeks to the point that we would make space for janie at the dinner table. Then one day my daughter came out her room historically crying and when I asked what was wrong she said her friend Janie left. I asked my daughter where she went and she said to heaven with her mommy. I got chills bc we aren’t a religious household we never talk about religion or heaven. We asked daycare teachers and anyone she spent time around her about it and no one knew anything about the little girl or what we were talking about, even doing research on our home and of children in our town that ever passed away and found nothing. I’ve always heard that children have a connection to the other side that we loose as we grow up but I had never witnessed it.

My son when he was very little, would play with 'the boys'. There were 3 of them. Quite often I would hear my son talking to them, answering questions etc. I would ask who he was talking to and he would just say, 'you know mum, the boys'. They were with him for a long time. For the most part, they all behaved lol. When they got a bit noisy, I would yell at 'keep it down boys' and mine would yell back, 'ok mum, we will' and they did lol.
I was gifted since I was a baby. I’m so thankful my family never said it was just my imagination. There is so much that many will never understand

I thought everyone did it, its what I grew up with. A huge surprise when I learned they didnt...and off course the interaction from the other side with mum and dad. Truer words never spoken, many yrs ago I had 2 huskies and a neighbor came by daily would stop at the gate with a treat for the one she knew as a puppy, my other came a year later he ignored her he would just watch never went to greet her. One night my one husky wanted to go out. We opened the door to the gated yard. Shorly after we heard a howling like never before . my husband and. I rented downstairs. Went outside my dog was at the gate howling. No one was there, the other dog stayed in the living room. We finally coach him back inside. Checked to see if he was injured. The next day I learned that his friend died. Even more amazing was the time, we were watching a TV show and the dog and our show had just started. Never again did I ever hear that howling again .
If this happened today, Heidi would have her own You Tube channel and they'd sell Mr Gordy dolls as merch.

My feeling is that souls sometimes become attached to places, events, antiques, or have a sudden physical death and are not fully aware that have passed over.

That something you dont want to hear. Now the story changed a bit over the years. I dont remember Dad gettin scratched the last documentary on Mr Gordy and the baby girl. No matter, often adolescent comes and the spirits soon fade to memory. Living by the sea, as a child i often saw loud pirate type spirits. At adolescent came they could only look in the window. Wasnt screaming backwards over my bed any longer.

That moved chair gave me chills down my spine. Same thing that happened to my mom, grandparents and aunt, many years ago, while they were preparing sandwiches for visitors/mourners during my uncle’s wake at their home. The chair got pulled off the table and my granpa just said, “he’s here. Your brother is joining our conversation.”
It could have been an earthquake. My couch shocked and I thought it could be a ghost or an earthquacke and when I look at the internet I found out that there was an earthquake at the place I lived and others experienced it aswell. I don't know why we as human being would want to hunt other people, I mean don't we have anything better to do? It's difficult to listen to the psychologist dismiss the family's experience with his scientific theories. It reminds me of my mother who had lupus before the medical community knew lupus existed deciding it was all "in her head", so they gave her medications to address her supposed mental health issues. Much later in her life they diagnosed her with lupus and it was eventually treated, but it's tragic what they did to her because they came to an incorrect conclusion because they couldn't otherwise explain it. They dismissed her, dismissed her experience, made her feel crazy. This is tragic and in these days is inexcusable.

I agree. I work in mental health and I have never dismissed what patients tell me. I try to validate and listen. I have found too many similarities in stories from people who never met each other, so I believe something was definitely going on.

@Billy, We moved into our house about 13 yrs. ago and that's about when we kept hearing noises coming from the Kitchen. At first I thought that we might have some field mice or something, or it could have been our furry babies scuffling and playing around in there, but each time we'd go check it out and came up with nothing. Then one night we got home from the store, and my Cat was acting like she was playing with a little string. She kept batting it into the air as though someone was there playing with her. I just laughed at her and said something like, you silly kitty. My cat walked away, and then my male cat went to join in the fun unfortunately I didn't see anyone or anything lol. But however, the cats had fun playing with spirit. I was never afraid of her I say her because she would always be singing in the kitchen as though she was cooking or baking. Then one day we notice she wasn't there anymore. We kind of missed her presents. I guess she moved on to a much better place like heaven. I think she had stayed around for as long as she did was because she needed to know that a good family was going to take care of her house, and because she loved kitties lol. A few years later we told our Land Lord that our house used to be haunted with a really nice lady that lived there, and with his excitement in his voice, said, "Yes I know the whole Mobile Home Park is! Today we are still not afraid, because we still believe that she moved on to a much better home she could ever possibly image...Heaven!❤❤❤😇😇😇
It is not Mr. Gordy...it is something imitating him. When you die, you move on. There are spirits to lure you and lower your guard. The spirit imitating "Mr. Gordy" and "Lon (Con)" isn't an immediate danger to your physical being, but its purpose is not good. When you increasingly invite them in, they achieve an open door and the spirits that use them have their way in. Yes, children are more clairvoyant, but only because they are more susceptible to deception; it is apparent that many are susceptible to deception, even as adults.

It is only disturbing in that we're not socially accustomed to it as a very real possibility. To Heidi, Mr. Gordy was a friend, and protector. If either medium can be considered correct, she was much better off having made that friendship once the evil entity showed up.

I remember watching this years ago on tv. I have always remembered it. It seems so credible and documented that I found it really interesting. It’s sad to learn that the father passed, most likely associated with the stress of trying to protect his family. I hope all are doing ok now.

Is it just me or do these people actually have incredible acting skills? Their conversations and dialogue seem way more natural and believable than any actor doing a reenactment from every other show like this.

The ghost they hired was real, but the actors did the rest. The dog was not up to these shenanigans. That is why they had to throw the lump of steak to make the dog run.

I love how they use the actual people in the reenactment! They don’t have to be the best actors because they actually experienced it and are acting it from memory so it’s pretty realistic

These two children have a great gift! They can see spirit. I too have seen spirits from my childhood. The parents need to see a really good medium and talk about this situation. My parents did not take any notice and I had to get help (by accident) when I was much older. Above all do not be frightened, it is a gift.

Well, an annoying gift for sure 😐 I've never really seen any myself, once in my 5th grade time, saw someone through the reflection from the wall, but wasn't sure whether it was a hallucinations, one time I felt suppressed and annoyed entering a small hut which sells food by the mountain road (a tourism site), I asked my mom if we could leave the place ASAP lol (I was around 21~22 years of age) the only time I felt so disturbed in my life lol but I didn't see anything...
Most of the times I could only see and feel signs, used to have a few occasions where I suddenly thought of something would gonna happen, and it happened in the next few minutes 😐 those were crazy experiences lol
The other crazy experience happened on July last year, I met someone over the internet, and I saw 5 signs (in a day) that relates me to her, I was baffled of such signs could occure and had thought to visit the person one day (she's from the US), I live in Asia lol but she hasn't replied to my messages since 🙁 I wonder what happen, I hope she's doing alright... 😥

HUGE props to these parents. My son used to see a woman when he was 2-3 years old. He called her “pooky” because he was trying to say she was “spooky” but couldn’t pronounce it properly. He told me she didn’t like it when I talked and that I needed to be quiet when she was in the room. He would put his finger over my mouth and point up to a corner in the ceiling and it TERRIFIED ME.

Oh yeah... respect that wish and stop talking to your child, because a imaginary friend doesn’t like your voice... see where it takes your relationship with your child.... is it really that inconceivable to an adult that a child this young can’t really understand the difference between dreams and reality, imagination and reality ? Even now as a grownup I have sleep paralysis episodes which feels exactly like it’s real. I’m just saying guys, we aren’t born knowing everything, the things we do know we must share. However, the actual people are thanked at the end. Regardless, it was an extraordinary production. If they did play themselves, that would be wild.

This is true, I live in Connecticut, I met this guy from my friends, he is a good level headed person, we got on the subject of the Supernatural somehow, then he said he didn't want to tell my friends and I about his experiences in a former house he owned. Because he didn't want us to think that he was crazy. It was so bad he and his wife actually had to leave the house permanently. Water being turned on by itself, lights being shut off or on on their own. The feeling someone was watching them in the shower or in bed, they were truly afraid.

It was repeatedly stated throughout this video they came with the land and had attachments to this land when they were still alive. The house and land need to be cleared of these spirits, they all need to be sent to the light. I’ve been obsessed with this episode since I was a kid, for some reason! Mr. Gordy is such a nice character 🥲
I've experienced something like this myself. Only the details differ. As a teenager I saw a dark figure, one night, in the garden, who seemed to emanate pure evil and hatred, looking up at me. Then I experienced being attacked, as I lay in bed at night, by entities I could feel, hear and see, overwhelming me and paralysing me. I could feel them suffocating me, sucking the air out of my lungs. Their presence was more real than anything. The encounter was ongoing. The experience made me terrified to go to sleep at night. No one believed me.
I contemplated suicide, only held back by the thought that after death these entities would never leave me alone. I soon after went to university, hoping and believing that they would leave me alone as I was in a new location. They followed me there. Running from my room in the dead of night, I found a payphone and called Lifeline but as I explained what I was experiencing, I realised I had terrified the person I had called, as their voice was shaking, so I hung up.
I thought I would never be free of them, but as I began learning about eastern spiritual wisdom, I learned what they were, and how to be free of them. Forty plus years later, I have not had one encounter. Thank God! I hope and pray that this family will become free and that they can clear out such demoniac forces through spiritual vibration and ridding the house of corpses, like the heads of those deer, as these entities are attracted by death.

I am so sorry you have experienced these horrible things. I have too, and know what exactly what you are talking about. Both the shadow people and the night terrors. I researched both as to how to rid my self of these things at the time I had no names for. I only have eliminated the shadow people and as for now the night terrors have not returned. It truly is a very scary thing to deal with that makes you feel you are at their mercy.

When my grandmother was dying, she had a picture of my mother right above her on the wall. My mother had passed just passed a couple of years before that. My grandmother was looking up and said something to my mom's picture. She raised her hand as to reach for her. She never touched the picture at all. The picture then fell off the wall. Soon after my grandmother passed that night.
What amazed me, was just how much Heidi turned into her mother! They even sound alike!

We loved in Georgia for several years. Once in the middle of the day, when my kids were taking naps, I very audibly heard little feet run down the hall. I thought one of my kids was awake. When I went to check, they were all sleeping. It was the only incident like that but we have lived in multiple states and it never happened anywhere else.

The South is full of haunted places. Lots of families and relations have lived in the same areas and even the same houses for over a century or two. Graveyards and churches are full of people who are related to each other. I’m a pretty down to earth, no nonsense person, but I saw half of a ghost when I was around 16 years old. My best friend st the time lived in an old family mansion that her father had inherited after the last of his relatives passed away. After he retired from a career in sales, he snd his family moved to this old family home from Atlanta. They closed off the upstairs for repairs and lived mainly downstairs near the kitchen, carriage house, dining room living room and den. My best friend’s father became ill and was hospitalized for a time. I spent several nights at her house to keep her company while her father was in the hospital. One night, we were up late watching TV
in the Den which was open to the dining room to our left. The lights were off except in the Den/the TV, and a small light that was on in the kitchen ... the dining room connected to the kitchen on the other side of the den by a swinging door. The house was large so even with a few lights/lamps on, it was very dark. I looked toward the dining room at one point because I heard a rustle and I thought perhaps my friend’s dog was inside the house instead of his kennel area, but I saw nothing.....but just then an apparition moved from the hall into the dining room to the dining room table and stood there holding the back of one of the finished g room chairs. She stated straight ahead out the dining room bay windows in front of her. She was wearing an old fashioned long dress with a tight, high neckline--she was thin and her hair was pulled up tightly in a bun. I say the dress was long, but I only sensed this because the bottom half of her was “missing”. I stared in shock unable to even cry out to my friend who was curled up on a couch closer to the TV, still watching TV. After a moment...what seemed longer, but was really probably seconds, the apparition turned and stared at me in absolute anger and immediately disappeared. I told my friend about this right after it happened. Her mother told me she was sorry I had been frightened, but that they had seen her several times before...whenever my best friend’s father became ill. My friend’s mother said she resembles the old photos of her husband’s grandmother. And that they believe she manifests and wanders the old home place whenever her “grandson” is ill...she paces with a worried look on her face. I still visited my friend, but I don’t recall ever spending the night with her again. Also, I have had definite “heavy feelings” and have heard weird, unexplained noises in empty churches and in an old Civil War graveyard.

I have really acute asthma as well as copd, and a couple of times I had gotten a really low oxygen level in my blood, but kept trying to break the attack myself; that is until someone literally screamed in my ear, " it is not your time to go"! What was he seeing that i could not. About a week after that the neighbor two doors down said her daughter was screaming that a little boys was in her room wanting too play. I started asking questions of the people who lived in the area for years. When i told them about my son and the neighbors daughter they said, he use to live in my apartment he was 3 yrs.old and he got out his house he wanted to go to the playground across the street by the pool, he got hit by a car and died. They also said i was not the first too see him and i wont be the last, because he lives there. I have a strong believe in God, told my baby you cant go out the window too play with him, and when you see him just tell him no, mommy said i cant play with you. That lasted until he was 4.

What a creepy experience that must have been! I am grateful I've never experienced that kind of paranormal event.
Based on Scripture, those would be Demons masquerading as deceased humans. God made it clear, when we die, our spirits do not linger here.
To explain ghosts, outside of the Bible, there is a theory bouncing around that if one is sensitive and open minded (like a child) one might be simply 'reading' the residual electrical imprint of the past events.
The biblical explanation of demonic activity in this world seems to me to be the more likely explanation. Regardless, may God keep you and yours in His protection always!

I grew up in a haunted house too. The ghost useto touch my hair and I useto wake up covered in ants. I also was terrified in that house. My neighbors use a spirit board next door and I watched a yellow sugar dush levitate up off the table then smash into a wall. Funny thing is my dad saw it too. After 4 years we moved. I was 7 when we moved in.

My family had a very old cabin (it was there when the property was purchased) on the property they owned. Took me years to sleep in it and it wasn’t even a whole night. Things went across the room so my friend and I ran out and all of the furniture in the main room had been moved. The doors were locked with a latch that only the people inside could unlock. I refused to go back in there. My dogs always refused to go in too. I’ve never had a more uncomfortable feeling from a house in my life. Makes my skin crawl just thinking of it. It was written off as an overactive imagination even though I was a teen and my friend and I both were there. The furniture was totally back in place when they went in during the day. I realize how crazy it sounds but I will never shut down someone saying they saw something or got a creepy feeling from a place and won’t go in.
This happened to me at the same age. I saw a young man with a red coat .....I live in Philadelphia. I didn't realize that it was a English Redcoat until I worked for the historical society in 1976 and found evidence that our house was occupied by the ENGLISH IN 1776. BELIEVE!

Its amazing how people can say that ghosts dont exist when there have been millions of cases of these experiences! There are kindly and protective spirits out there,my hubby and I lived with them . When my husband was technically dead for 8 minutes due to sepsis I honestly believe our kind ghosts helped bring him back . So true the same thing happened to my self and brother.dad would tell us stop are get upset.it was a man first then a woman mostly in our room.mom got scared because things started to happen.dad was the last person to receive cuts bruises and nail marks all over his boby he said someone was sitting on him while they hurt him.that same month we move out.he ask questions about the person we told him about they were father and daughter.am now 30 years old and witness the same thing happen to my daughter we should be careful of the house we call home. because evil is real.ask question about the house you never the horrors inside .

kids are a lot smarter than adults give them credit for. If my kid told me they saw someone or something, I would believe them. I used to see and hear stuff all the time and I would try telling my mom and she never believed me. It was so frustrating because I knew what I saw/heard.

I doubt the entities, or whatever they were, had any interest in the doctor. Just saying. If historical reports of supposed paranormal events are correct, these entities go to children and simple minded people, bc they’re so easy to manipulate. They tend to stay away from educated folks, or people with sense.

When I got my first apartment, I lived above my land lord and lady, they have two kids and one kept talking about this person that walked in his room, but not through the door, but through the wall (It was an old house and they had renovated it, moved the door and such) and I can tell you: in the moment, you feel like it was a dream, and because he was so chill about it when he talked about it, you don't really see much reason for alarm. It never got worse or something, but mom didn't like this entity in her son's room, so they had the house "cleaned". The kids were on holiday, so they wouldn't get scared or something... I do have to say, the house felt so empty after it. The boy only once talked about it again: he noted that he hadn't seen the man in a long time

I agree with you i could never understand that. My son is 6 he sees "things" and sleeps with me. Scared around the clock. I feel horrible I could never send him off to just deal with it by himself. It's tough.

I don’t remember her, but my mom does. An older woman would visit me. She may have been a ghost. Her name was Ms.TeaPot. She was very friendly from what I hear. I’d talk about her all the time. She wanted a rocking chair in my room. I was playing in the yard with the other kids in the apartment complexes. But I was by myself and I was laughing and talking to someone who wasn’t there. A woman told my mom, to which my mom said I had an imaginary friend. The woman seemed concerned and said “No, she’s really talking to someone. She’s having a literal conversation”. And I guess I was so adamant about the rocking chair she put one in my room and at night she heard a noise in my room just to see the chair rocking… and one single incident that scared her as I was really young was when I was shaking as if I were cold. It was a hot day and we didn’t have AC. She comes up to me confused and said “Destiny, are you cold?” And felt my head. I was freezing. I said I was very cold. That, “When Ms.Tea Pot walks in the room, it’s really cold, mom”. And all she could think of was “How would she know if a ghost was cold”. She completely believed I encountered a ghost.

As oí understand it, the ghosts haunt the people rather than the dwellings. So running away does no good.
