Putting your Uncle in Hospice is for the best of both of you. They can give him the proper and respectful care he needs, his Medicare will help pay for it and your are relived of the stress and worry about him. I hope things work out with the Uncle's house, too bad is needed the major roof redo, likely replacement was delayed for financial reasons, have to catch up. As to your shoulder, do what you have to get it fixed and heals, don't ignore any physical therapy after an operations. Don't be afraid to get help with your mental stress. Just beware of any flood cars from Florida in your searches.
Randy, not in any way giving medical advice here. I can only tell you about my experience. About five years ago, I developed excruciating shoulder pain in my right shoulder whenever I would attempt to lift my arm. I had an MRI on it and was diagnosed with calcific tendinitis. The doctor recommended surgery. Instead, I immediately stopped taking calcium supplements I had been taking for a couple years and I instead took a normal daily dose of magnesium. The magnesium might not have impacted this at all, however, after a couple months, the pain and issue went away and I have not had it come back. No surgery for this was needed for me.
I hope your shoulder feels better . I am understanding you trying to help your Uncle our in Indiana amd family comes first .The WheelChair van would be great to take your Uncle around in.The PeterBut truck would be great to take home. I have your shoulder feels better 🙏🏻

on that peterbilt there is also a kill switch for the battery usually next to the driver seat on the left side that people usually switch it to off to not kill the batteries

Sorry to hear about your Uncle Randy. The Peterbilt transmission is an Eaton Super 10, low range and high range are all in the transmission, a split differential like you described is a 2 speed rear axle, it's a 12 volt system, the hoses on the back of the cab are for the air brakes for the trailer, there's also an electrical pigtail cord for trailer lights. I've had my Class A CDL for decades. Read the full disclosure on that tractor, there are a multitude of invisible problems that could be lurking around a class 8 road tractor at an auction. Again, I pray for your Uncles comfort and hope your shoulder heals up quickly. The genie is a scissor lift, The forklift is an LP gas unit, there's no bottle on it.
As an ex trucker when you said both tanks didn't have any gas in them, of course they don't, but knew what you meant. And when you mentioned "reefer" lines. They're trailer brake hose lines and light connectors. Trailer could be either a reefer, dry van, tanker, sand hauler, flatbed, etc. I encourage you to get your CDL, preferably a 6-week course like I took before I went OTR. You will learn a lot. The Genie is a scissor lift.
First off, the key to the handicap van is not chipped so it can be replaced. The tiedowns to this van i see are not present but can be ordered. As for your shoulder, wishing you the best.
Randy, those slotted plates are where you put the tie-down straps (one for each corner/wheel of the wheelchair) and seat belt piece for the passenger in the chair. Most vans of this size are capable of carrying two wheelchair passengers, hence the four slotted plates in the E150 you were looking at here. And yes, the hydraulic part on the lift is for a handle to use if you have to operate the lift manually. Note: usually you need to apply the e-brake in order to operate the lift (with the motor running, due to it being powered electrically). From a person who has worked for a wheelchair transport company for 15 years in New York State.
Number 1 we are here for you and on the handicapped van I drove those kind of vans professionally for years the wheelchairs sat between the tracks and had the tie downs fit into the slots and that van is missing them and also the seat belt set up

Can't believe your original roof lasted 112 years. I haven't even heard of metal roofs lasting that long, let alone just standard roofs. Getting a CDL is ALOT of money. I luckily got one for free by applying to be a city bus driver.

Keep in mind most class 8 rigs have a battery disconnect, it's usually to the rear of the battery box or just under the cab. It's normal to disconnect when in storage.
