I really like your laid back attitude. You make videos to share your life with us not for maximum views like a lot of other TH-camrs! Happy to be one of your Patreons 😉
Those cows are socialized to humans as there caregivers. They’ll follow you to the ends of the earth, thinking you will feed them lol. Another great vid Foresty! Thanks again.
Thanks for another great episode and sharing your journey. I’ve got Netflix, roku, Disney and Amazon Prime. But this channel makes brings the most joy.
Be careful sleeping on trails like that. Even though motor vehicles aren't allowed doesn't mean they don't use them occasionally. I slept in the middle of the Ironhorse Trail in WA a few nights during my ride East. On the way back home I was sleeping maybe 10 feet off of the trail near Lake Easton and a car flew down the trail in the middle of the night and drove by again a few hours later.
When I started watching your bike trips years ago, I’d take screenshots of so many of the views you shared. I had to stop because I’d never get through the videos. Ha So many vistas you’ve taken in that I’m sure not many others have. I can’t thank you enough for sharing these.
Loving the vids, ForestyForest...a buddy and I got into bikepacking on fatbikes this year and instantly enjoyed the experience. Fantastic vids, man...you’re giving me all sorts of ideas for future adventures. Now I’ve just gotta quit my job and find a van! Following from the Far East...New Brunswick... 🇨🇦🙂🤙🚵♂️
New subscriber here. I usually don't subscribe to channels but yours is really RAW. I like your content man! No fancy editing effects and your not annoyingly eccentric. You a humble normal guy. Looking forward to watching your channel grow.
His comments about beer make it obvious he's Canadian. Pinedale Wyoming? What a beautiful little town. I wouldn't mind living there except in the winters, which are long and cold ss hell.
I believe the term you are looking for is "Tall Boys" instead of super huge cans. lol! And you're actually right, gas station beer (beer sold in gas stations) has a lower alcohol percentage than the same beer sold at a proper liquor store... it varies state to state, but it is true.
I’ll admit, I’m jealous. I tolerate the city but love the country and small towns. Sometimes I wish I were a man. To have the freedom to experience life like this without being overly concerned about my safety and all the things that COULD happen to a woman traveling by herself in the backwoods. I guess I’ll just live vicariously through adventurers like you.
Your a Long Haired Bike Riding Hippy Freak! Be proud and keep on pedaling, that is when you do pedal. Its too bad you didnt spend more time in Grand Teton park, they have some excellent bike paths in the park.
A voice over for the cows would of been so funny! Hey buddy where you going? Take us with you! See these tags on our ears? They're gona turn us into hamburger! Mooooo! Please! Don't leave us here! Mooooo!
could have stopped at the Salvation Army by that shopping center for some free food I do stuff like that all the time right across the street from the Greyhound station and that statue of Mary on top of the hill the old man put up there
hehe i was about to write the same, Forestyforest is the best bike rider on youtube, fun and lovely :D i love him he's the best..and beutiful scenary in the video
See you also got those great Keen sandals. No need pack another pair of shoes on a trip. How do you like your MSR tent? Thinking about getting that one over ths useless single wall I bought for this past summers tour.
That was a Goal Zero Nomad 7 Plus. 1st one I owned lasted two weeks, they sent me that replacement and it only lasted 2 months. They are junk. I'm on my third one now and waiting for it to break.
@@forestyforest Wow!... yeah I have heard some bad reviews about Goal Zero before. How about Voltaic Systems. voltaicsystems.com/solar-chargers-for-bicycle-touring/
What tent is that you have there? It looks nice, with more head room than the usual tent of that size. Thx for sharing the adventure with us, its something special not everyone gets to experience for themselves. Safe travels and be well.
You mean like why ride a bicycle instead of a dirt bike? Because a bicycle is the only vehicle that is allowed to go thru on most kind of trails. Its possible to link together amazing stuff instead of detouring around it. But I think if I won the lottery... I'd have a 4wd camper van that I could use as a base camp. And do smaller adventures from that.
Personally I always prefer bikes no petrol no real big costs for repairs it’s just far more fun and keeps you fit, motor bikes are just a pain and have to much power for lots of technical rides anyway.
Foresty Foresty: he is the Pied Piper of the friendly black Angus beef cattle.
Very, very funny! 😎
I have such respect for your tenacity. Your adventures provide vicarious pleasure and positive attitude adjustment for this 70-year-old Montana woman!
the cows following you made me grin 'we heard your were throwing out granola'

Don't know how I got here but I'm glad I did.

Watching the adventure from Texas. We just got home from an 11 day, 300 mile run through Missouri, Ohio and Pennsylvania.. it was quite fun!

So many gorgeous scenes.
Those trails are just beautiful.
Awesome series ! Thumbs up!

I like the shorter version videos that you are using now. I watch the long ones too, but these are easy to chew.
Those cows were waiting for you to say something profound:-)
Hi from Germany 😎
thanks for the adventure. I felt like I was there with you.
Great videos bro!

There's a lot of women who decided to be a person and not a woman and are off experiencing new adventures!
9:17 what a crew!
Forest gump of bike world,,,,,
Just living. I love it!
“Would rather have a QUALITY beer than the coors/bud pee-in-the-can fizzy tall boy.” 👍

Classic Forest, always pitching his tent in public.
The cows were so cute following you
Nice reference to mike hall 👍
Goodonyah mate
add cow-herding to the never ending list of things FF can do
Great vids my friend. I’m happy for you. One advice gear up your camera. Luv From Amsterdam 👍

What sort of food do you carry? What’s the universal supply you can find at gas stations?
Granola anything. Protien, sodium, potassium.
Ah man. So awesome
Ride Forest ride.
could have stopped at the Salvation Army by that shopping center for some free food I do stuff like that all the time right across the street from the Greyhound station and that statue of Mary on top of the hill the old man put up there
Those cows were sweet. Made me glad I don't eat beef anymore. ✌
Mice go crazy in the autumn
Amazing
Thanks
Lol lmaf "here is 10 bucks" u need more than i do! Haha
hehe i was about to write the same, Forestyforest is the best bike rider on youtube, fun and lovely :D i love him he's the best..and beutiful scenary in the video
Those tall cans of beer are the worst!! Drink one on occasion so you know when you find a truly good beer.
3:08 local "responsible gun owners" have shot up the caution sign!
See you also got those great Keen sandals. No need pack another pair of shoes on a trip.
How do you like your MSR tent? Thinking about getting that one over ths useless single wall I bought for this past summers tour.
I am happy with the Freelite. It is on the narrow side, not much room for storing extra stuff inside. But there's storage outside under the vestibule.
You are the cow whisperer.
What is making that sound at 6:40 ? It sounds like a cross between a loon and a woodpecker.
Sandhill crane.
Thank you! I enjoyed the video BTW and I don't even own a bike, just a mountain unicycle. :)
5:37 haha I couldnt agree more
You're Amazingly Wonderful 💙🌱🤗
Yay!!
Cow Pies make good trail snacks

Hello my friend, enjoying your videos.
I saw your solar charger with the green frame edging. What type is it?

What types of food do you pack and how do you find your way? I know maps but ob your phone or paper?
What a journey! Should toss on a helmet.
What tent is that you have there? It looks nice, with more head room than the usual tent of that size. Thx for sharing the adventure with us, its something special not everyone gets to experience for themselves. Safe travels and be well.
Surprised you have such a narrow saddle
What no granola for cows ??
I like the camping, but don't understand the appeal of the fat bike. Could you explain why it's fun? I like motorcycles.
That makes sense. I never thought about the trail access situation.
Personally I always prefer bikes no petrol no real big costs for repairs it’s just far more fun and keeps you fit, motor bikes are just a pain and have to much power for lots of technical rides anyway.
sorry for my English, I'm from Russia, I watch your channel, I really like your video, you're good, how many teeth on the front star?
What camera did you use for this trip?
LG V20
